Way to go Maple Landing! We had the Brisket Poutine and the Brisket Melt, both were on point. The brisket was moist and tender and had a great flavor. The poutine was just the right temp to melt the cheese. The melt had a chipotle sauce that was not too spicy and went well with the sweet brioche bun. We didn't have any drinks but the other people in our party confirmed they were on point. Not too pricey and they were able to accommodate a large party. Will definitely be back. Came out from Addison, looking for something new. This joint is fantastic. Right from the start as we walk in, there is a huge patio that the inner bar is opened up to. Just beautiful. Immediately greeting by a hostess they tell us to grab a seat anywhere. With the amount of people already on the patio I was relieved to hear this as I assumed the place was packed. We found a nice table across from the bar in a corner. We settled in and was promptly waited on. In fact I didn't see our waitress walk up, she may have popped out of the floor or repelled down from the ceiling!! I'm not going to go into huge details but I will say this. Our waitress provided the perfect amount of service. Friendly, attentive, helpful. We never had to look around to find her if we needed her, yet she gave us the perfect amount of space to talk and enjoy our dinner. Very respectful. And that is rare. Food wise, we shared the patty melt and brisket poutine. The patty melt was good. Nothing really jumped out to me. I ordered the house made chips with it. The house made chips in my opinion hit it out of the park. Perfect size, perfect crisp. NOT greasy. And thank goodness no salt stuck all over them. Great crisp and delicious potato flavor. Loved them. Going back to the patty melt. Was it meh?? No. Did I orgasm? No. Was it delicious and satisfying? Absolutely. Presentation was perfect, none of the ingredients overpowered another, it wasn't a greasy mess. It just didn't have that pizzazz. Nothing wrong with that. Great menu item and good choice if you can not decide on what to get. The brisket poutine... Oh holy hell. Jesus must have been in the back cooking this up cause I swear to you nothing could possible be this good without some divine intervention. Further into the meal we met with the general manager whom was very pleasant and I could tell straight away he enjoyed his work and was very happy to be there. He made a very nice bourbon recommendation, which as it turns out we stopped on the way home and purchased a bottle. Before ending our visit, one of the owners came to the table and we chatted. He divulged that his patio is "pet friendly" to respectful pet owners and respectful pets. Use common sense with this people. Plus it never hurts to give them a call before you arrive to verify your 250# great dang will be ok chillin on the patio. Good stuff to know: Happy hour is 4-7, and all day on sat and Sunday as of this review. Our time of dining was about 6:30 Friday, so your experience maybe different depending how n time of day or event. This is a very nice bar that's trying to a a dive bar, that is respecting the need of bar folk to have a better choice in meal then the normal bar fair. With that being said, prices will reflect quality of their food. Better quality + better choices = higher prices. Nothing ridiculous, but expect to pay more then your average chicken strips. I mean come on people, Mercedes usually cost more then a Kia, right? Again we had a fabulous experience by wonderful people whom seem to enjoy what they do and provide. I highly advise you to check this place out. Be warned. Your experience maybe different depending on the day and time. I imagine this place before to long, will be standing room only, as it's a great place to eat and drink. Chips/salsa was mediocre; the humus was good; the avocado bacon burger was decent but a very thin patty; the salad with chicken and pork belly should be an embarrassment to the so-called chefs - not good in any way whatsoever. I live right around the corner and am super excited the neighborhood is gentrifying (thank youuuuu Starbucks!). I'm surprised this place isn't packed most nights yet. Had me worried at first time I went in, but pulled me out of three stars into four my last visit. Overall the food is well priced , good portions and full of flavor. Didn't live the queso (I think it was real cheese ... who does that!? , but a bit gritty). Brisket Benedict on point. Second time I got chili and a baked potato. Only reason for four stars ... first time in it took 45 minutes to get food (second day open though, I get it). Second time in my baked potato came out about fifteen minutes before my chili and at that point I was hangry waiting on my appetizer. Keep up the great work! The beer was good but you can't screw that up when it comes from Lakewood or Deep Ellum Brewing. The service left a lot to be desired- we had a spill at our table, I had to flag down our server twice (to be clear, she saw me the first time but another table's order and input was more pressing than the beer sopping off our table) and when I finally asked her across the restaurant for some towels, she nodded, turned around and shook her head. $90 (before tip) for boring food, beer I can get anywhere in Dallas, and lackluster service (the guy bussing our table was good‍). read more

I have actually never been to the physical restaurant. One day I was craving bbq and Maple Landing popped up on Favor. The menu isn't a typical mom and pop bbq menu. It's a little more *trendy*? But don't let that throw you off because these people don't play when it comes to their food!! I ordered the Brisket Melt not knowing what to expect. I'm not a big meat eater type of person but I couldn't resist the extras put on this sandwich! Bourbon onions, mushrooms, gouda! I usually pick apart my sandwich making sure there's no fat or anything grisly on the meat. Brisket is usually one meat I don't eat because I have a hard time digesting tough protein. Long story short....their brisket literally falls apart in your fingers!! It is hands down the most amazing, tender, flavorful brisket I have ever had! And that is a HUGE compliment because I am super picky and don't like meat! Lol. I'm not even exaggerating when I say I CRAVE this sandwich. I usually end up getting it 2-3 times a week and then I make everyone in my office come and look at it. It is amazing. I have to make a conscious effort to slow down when I'm eating it or I will make myself sick!! So I don't know what else is going on at Maple Landing food wise but they nailed the brisket and this sandwich is hands down one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! After passing it on the way home each day for weeks, I finally decided to stop in. I don't know what my expectations were but whatever they were, Maple Landing surpassed them. The staff was extremely friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. The bartender/server quickly took my drink order and actually recommended a beer that I hadn't tried and really enjoyed. Peticolas - Golden Opportunity. I had looked at the menu before going in and knew I wanted to try the 737 burger. Named after the airplane and the price. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The seasoning in the beef, the proprietary spread and the bun were further complimented by the crispy and perfectly seasoned fries. I didn't want the meal to end. "singing all off key" OH HAPPY DAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! But Yelp, y'all know any day I'm getting my phat boi eating on...is a happy day for me! LOL ...So my management team wanted to take me to lunch for admin pro day and of course it was up to me to choose the location...so I go to my homie loving friend...YELPPPPPP!!! I browsed their menu online like 3 hours lol....just phat boi drooling and wanted everything they had to offer. We arrived shortly after 11am and were seated right away. Now this place fills up pretty quickly...which was a good sign. The waitress came over and took our drink orders, allowing everyone else time to browse the menu and make their selections. Once our drinks came back, let the ordering begin....I had the brisket melt (brisket, bourbon'd onions, mushrooms, gouda, chipotle sauce on a challah bun and a side elotes)...minus the mushrooms tho...other orders consisted of sliced brisket sandwich (brisket, slaw, house pickled jalapenos, bourbon bbq sauce on hoagie bread) with sweet potato fries and regular fries and elotes and brisket tacos (brisket, jicama slaw, queso fresco, smoked fresno sauce) w/ homemade chips. Now, I had gone to wash my hands before the food came out & when I got back...the food had arrived and everyone was prepping to begin eating. We all did a little sharing of our sides. The elotes had a kick but was kicking azz good, the regular fries were Ahhhmazing, the sweet potato fries needed a little more seasoning for my taste buds, but they were ok and the homemade chips had a nice crisp to them. Everyone began eating the main attractions on the plates and began ranting and raving...blessed my food....lookout....B-A-B-YYYYYYYYYYYYY on e'rythang....that brisket melt was hitting like a boxer in his last round & he know he won!!!! Love the atmosphere of this restaurant but went here for an event and was not pleased with how they handled the group. There was a silent disco that was hosted here on Saturday which is the day they also offer all day happy hour and game day specials. I overheard no less than 3 customers fighting with the bartenders for not honoring these prices and not saying anything about it until the drinks and bill had been served. The bar manager was extremely rude to one of the patrons about it offering to "get her manager" and then ultimately served the first drink at the special price... we were there a couple of hours and dancing and getting super hot, and when we asked for a glass of water we were turned down stating they were only serving bottles that night. Excuse me? We are dancing in Texas with patio doors open??? Very disappointed with the way they decided to host this event and I was excited to return because I liked the atmosphere so much, but now I am not sure I will. read more

My daughter and I try to make sure we go out to eat once a week as a sort of escape, because COVID distancing is making us stir crazy. We're careful to find restaurants with outdoor dining, which is challenging. This particularly frigid, blustery Saturday night in mid-January, we had called a few places, in search of a heated patio. We wanted to talk and laugh over some hot drinks followed by dinner. But we weren't having any luck. Then we called Maple Landing and they said to come on over -- said they have a heated patio and they'd love to have us. Got there, came in from the howling January wind, and were met with a warm greeting pretty much the minute we walked in the door. We asked the young woman who greeted us if they'd mind serving us outdoors in this wintry weather. She laughed and told us she'd love to serve us, said she's from Michigan and is unfazed by cold temps! Joe, the manager, walked over and introduced himself -- showed us to the warmest spots on the patio AND recommended some hot drinks we could sip while we looked at the menu. We ended up getting a delicious hot toddy w slice of lemon and yummy Irish coffee. It felt festive and relaxing, and it was the most fun we'd had all week. These people have hospitality figured out. Just felt like an oasis amid all the stresses of COVID. Thank you, Joe, and thank you, Kennedy! You turned our week around. We will be back. Came here expecting a smokehouse, but this was more of a sports bar. Staff was friendly and helpful. Understand that some of the sides are +$2 more if chosen but not all. The bacon avocado burger had very good bacon. The homemade chips were a little grease heavy but scrumptious. Salad was fresh with mixed greens and a couple of other veggies. Sweet Potato waffle fries are extra but they were tasty and well worth the extra dough. The brisket and sausage plate was a complex issue. Sausage was @4" link of mixed meat sausage cooked perfectly. Brisket was 2 4" pieces from the middle with good smoke, super tender, but no pink. Sause was on the side. Cornbread was sweet and amazing. Pickle was interesting...chipotle garlic bread and butter(?). The flavor of the brisket was excellent. The banana bourbon bread pudding made us forget most of the rest of the day. One of my coworkers and I took off work a little early that day and decided to hit happy hour closer to our area versus driving to Deep Ellum or Uptown. My original thought was Social Pie but she suggested Maple Landing because she had been once before. I'm not really skeptical of places that only have a few people in it because they tend to actually be good, just often skipped over or unknown. From the service to the apps we had, it was very well done bar food. Straight to the point, no fluff. Perfect for a rainy day or really any day that you need a place to relax and really enjoy the people around you. The only thing that happened was that the chips they brought out with our queso were stale so they had to send out new ones. Other than that everything was great. If you need a place to eat near Love field this is it! Especially if the weather is nice. The have garage doors that open with good weather. They share a very basic metal building with a pizza place next door and it looked like you could order from either place sitting their. They have lots of craft beers to chose from and TVs on every wall giving everyone a view of the game. Their brisket melt was amazing and other meals looked appetizing too. I'll be back. read more

Ordered through caviar and got a salad with grilled chicken and a side of sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were dry and over salted but the most disappointing part was the salad. It was wilted, and instead of chicken I got what looked like overly sauced teriyaki steak tips. For one, it did not complement a salad that came with oranges and cranberries but the steak had been simmering in the sauce for a while therefore it was syrupy and dry. What a disappointment. Ladies and gentlemen, please fasten your seatbelts and prepare to satisfy your tummy! I just popped in for lunch on a rainy day. This place is really new and they are still working out some of the customer service logistic kinks like training and phone orders. I ordered a 737 hamburger with everything on it including pickles. What I got was a hamburger with remnants of cheese (they removed it when I saw the bill and reminded them I ordered no cheese) and instead of pickles I was surprised by fresh jalapenos. I like jalapenos, so for me it was a pleasant little bonus even if it wasn't what I ordered. There was a large pickle in my cute to-go box too! Yay! Food has been consistently good, although the menu seems to feature some out-of-place items, like poke salad (haven't tried it yet) in a predominately brisket/burger-centered menu. The one star off is for service - have had a few bad experiences with my servers (gave my takeout order to an Uber driver; asked for two burgers with no tomato on one and ended up with one no tomato and one no vegetables - literally just cheese and a patty; ordered something for the table as well as something for myself, and the waitress commented on my "hearty appetite"). However, the poutine is delicious and definitely worth a try :) read more

Everything was really good here! We had the burnt end chili, the brisket melt, and the lemon creme brûlée...and it was all delicious!! Great service, my glass was never lower than half way full..just made sure that we were well taken care of. Every bourbon you can think of on the menu & a fun space in the back with pool tables.
