Just went here for the first time with 3 adults and a toddler and we could not have been more pleased. We had Michelle as a waitress and she was absolutely amazing, not only she was quick, efficient and patient but she was so kind. My nephew (who is 2 years old and very impatient) LOVED her and she made sure to do everything to make sure he continued to smile. The food was also delicious with a ton of options no matter what your dietary needs may be (my sister is a vegan and they had multiple food options for her). Went here for the first time on Sunday with my family. I've heard nothing but good things about this place, and I'm happy I listened and came here. The owner came up when he saw we had a kid with us to ask opinions on updating the kids menu. He would like to stay away from fried foods, and have healthier alternative options. I was extremely happy to hear that. Most restaurants only have fried food on the kids menu, it's nice to have a place that wants our kids to have healthy options,m. We came in for breakfast, I got the Greek-town skillet. It was amazing! The ingredients were nice and fresh! The gyro on the skillet was some of the best I've ever had. I can't wait to come back and try some lunch! It was extremely busy, because obviously the food is great. The only recommendation I have is a bigger location. :) read more

My friend & I just recently started going here & we can't get enough! Every meal we've order was 10/10. I have yet to be disappointed & the service is amazing. The nutella crepes with strawberries are my absolute favorite & everything tastes fresh ! I've never been a breakfast person until I came here. Absolutely love this place!! Was at Midway airport taking my family and decided to stop for breakfast. Yelp our options and Maple N Jams Cafe was an option....so we came. Best choice!!! Our Waitress Michelle was amazing best customer service! The food was great! Must try the Stuff Apple Cinnamon French toast, perfect amount of sweet! Not super sweet! Omelettes were great, big! This establishment is racist if I could give them a zero I would. The owner Sam or Anthony the guy kept changing his name and was rude and very nasty after the kitchen staff prepared my order wrong. I ordered a country skillet without mushrooms onions and tomatoes and let them know that I am allergic to the mushrooms only to receive my food with mushrooms anyway. After letting them know that my order was messed up they questioned me as to why I ate my meal another red flag and offered to take $1 off the meal. Also me and our party had no utensils and after being given our food had to wait 15 minutes for utensils. This place don't deserve to be supported by anyone and will be reporting this experience to the better business bureau. This place is trash and I will never ever eat here again read more

This place was great. A friend an I stopped in for a weekday breakfast. A HUGE selection on the menu should appeal to just about anyone. We enjoyed the philly skillet and some strawberry crepes. Donna was our server and she was phenomenal. The only negative I have to say about the place is the parking. I had to park down the road, but it was well worth the short walk. Maple N Jams is jammin' for sure. Jammin' those customers into a tiny busy space that is! As a repeat customer, most of the waitresses know me and greet me with familiarity, which is really nice in this anonymous world of ours. These days I expect to be ignored and moderately abused to get a meal out in the suburbs, but I've never felt like a burden or like I had to ratchet up my personality just to get some napkins. The napkins and water refills flow freely at MNJ! The food is solid and their cooks are more professional with casual plating than they need to be. They've managed to serve up excellent food cooked to order consistently enough that without question, when someone asks if I want to go to MNJ the answer is yessssss. I've tried a bunch of things and I haven't been disappointed, which is rare because I'm a real crabby pain before coffee. Plus, the portions are generous enough that I end up taking half home for a second meal, letting me relive the warm fuzzies in my warm fuzzy pajamas. Oh and the coffee is multi-cup good too. The only downside is that other people know about MNJ. The place is pretty well packed on week days and absolutely swarmed on the weekends. Their booths are more packed than....something that is tightly packed and not sardines because I'm tired of that metaphor and who eats sardines anymore anyway? Let's go with vacuum-packed tamales. As tight as tamales. Never mind... To their credit, the staff never makes you feel like you need to eat as fast as possible and get out, even with the tight quarters and crush of people waiting. So put on your eating pants and tip your waitstaff well, Maple N Jams is a winner. read more

I really wanted to give Maple N Jams Cafe 5 stars. Everyone is very nice here. I really like Helen and Michelle. Yolanda is very nice too. The decor is nice and the place has a good vibe. The food is good. I've tried both the breakfast and the lunch items. The reason I can't give Maple n Jams 5 stars is because the portions are a little light. I ordered an Omelette and it was good but there weren't enough ingredients to satisfy a hungry man. I'm skinny so I need to eat a lot and I don't like skimpy portions. There were not enough hash browns either. I also ordered a french toast and again there was not enough bread and it was thinly cut. I like a nice thick french toast. If you are on a diet this might not bother you but like I mentioned portions mean a lot to me. The coffee is too strong for me here and well over $2.00. No reason to charge that much for coffee. My first time coming here today and everything was great. I was able to use the online yelp tool to be added to the waitlist and I'm glad I did because there was about 3-4 groups waiting to be seated when we got there because it was so busy. We were seated immediately and the waitress came to our table really quickly and took our drink order. Right after that a woman came by to fill up our coffee mugs...the service was so quick it was nice to have prompt hospitality. As for the food, I ordered the eggs, bacon and potatoes combo with French toast, the fiancé ordered an omelette and my friend ordered the crepes. There was not a single complaint from any of us about the food or anything else. It was very delicious and this will probably be our go to breakfast spot from now on! The food was inexpensive but had quality that went above and beyond. Definitely will come here again read more

I've been wanting to eat here since I read the reviews. The restaurant is clean and cozy.. Michelle', our waitress was super friendly and helpful.. The food was delicious. I had the stuffed French toast with fresh strawberries and fresh whipped cream with a side of ham off the bone. I'm not sure what my son ordered, but it looked amazingly and he said it was sweet and savory. I only remember Miss Piggy was part of the description. We both brought home doggie bags, but not for the doggies. I look forward to my next visit to try more of the menu. My visit was Fantastic and delicious. Well done Maple and Jam! read more

I visited last week sometime. This restaurant is AMAZING! The staff is so so sweet and seem like they really care about their guests and their needs. The Host was very sweet and insisted I pick my own table. Michelle was my server and she was very pleasant, GREAT attitude, very nice and the service was very fast! Keep it up Michelle you are awesome!! The food? Omg also Amazing!!! Some of the best crepes I have ever had. The only thing about this visit was that I waited alittle long for a box and my check but other than that I will most definitely be returning to Maple and Jams forsure and will be making it a go to! 100% recommend this restaurant to anybody and everybody! read more

Never leave disappointed. Me, wife and kids frequently visit this establishment at least once a month. Prices are reasonable and service is great. At times it's busy and no seating so there can be a slight wait for a table to clear. Place isn't too big but isn't too small either. Food is real good. I was hesitant to try this place out. I can be a snob and it looked sketchy to me. I was wrong (again). We have been several times now and it's quickly turning into one of my favorite breakfast spots close to home. The coffee is good and they come around often. I love that they have an option for a short stack of French toast. I'm not a huge fan of the turkey sausage they have though. I really wish they had turkey bacon as an option. It would be 5 stars then. I love turkey bacon! I'm trying to get over there for lunch soon. They have a ton of options for lunch and it seems to be available all day. The service is great. The wait always goes fast on weekends and the servers are all very friendly. I have to say though that our favorite has been Michelle. This place blows. Well let me clarify, the food blows, service was decent and the place was clean but pricey. One of my close friends had been raving about it so I found myself out Burbank way one morning hankerin' for some breakfast. We walked in and the specials board had a crab benedict and pork chops as well as some other good sounding grub. The menu boasted an entire section of benedict products which happens to be my all time favorite breakfast food so I figured "why not? must be good if they have an entire menu section of benedicts, they can't possibly be using the hollandaise mix sauce I despise so much......". Well I was wrong!!!! That chicken boullion base dry mix sauce was just nasty and the english muffin and overcooked poached egg were nothing to write home about either. I could have let the bad benedict go as a true benedict lover knows ordering that at a new restaurant (unless it is a fancy hotel) is always a crap shoot and if you get bad benedict that's on you. My husband wanted a Feta cheese omelette and saw the pork chops listed on the board so he ordered the omelette and told the waitress he wanted the pork chops on the side. They would not serve the pork chops on the side nor would they substitute the omelette for the eggs in the pork chop special (even though I offered to pay more.) Well with all the hub bub about the chops he relented and got the "special" which was two pork chops and three eggs. The sunny side up eggs were cooked horribly (a lot of uncooked yolk phlegm) and the chops were a joke - they looked like tiny mcribs with out the bbq sauce! Small, boneless, dry and I swear the grill marks were fake. What kind of breakfast place won't let you craft your own order? read more
