I am posting this as an update review. Our family normally orders from and last couple times we went the, the food seemed a bit bland and under cooked. The quality seems to be dropping a bit, can't tell if it's because of the remodel or not however, we will be taking a break from the place non the less. read more

Food was okay but the service could've been better. Hostess was in a rush to get us out of the cafe even though we had just finish our food and had coffee left. Kept repeating how she needed our table to fit a larger party and sent buss boys to clean the cups that we were still using. Great service and the food is delicious. The coffee is good here- I take mine black, no doctoring, so the roast and quality matter a lot to me. The Mexi skillet is generously filled with chorizo and jalapeños and I love spicy food so it was awesome to me, but may be a bit too spicy for some people. The potatoes come sliced, and although I'm partial to cube style breakfast potatoes, these are good. The skillets are not the traditional black cast iron type that come out sizzling and keep your food warm, but it's becoming harder to find those nowadays. I'll be back for more! read more

This was the perfect weekend breakfast spot. They are currently doing outdoor seating under a tent so we were able to bring our puppy with us. Here are the positives worth talking about... - they have a great selection on the menu. It is brunch so you have a big selection of breakfast and lunch. - the prices are great for this place. I have been here 3 times, each time with 2 people and have never paid more than $25. - the staff is amazing! The waitresses are super nice. They are always making sure that your drinks are filled. The bus people are great as well. - the food is so delicious! They have big portions. And the food comes out super quick! I came here on weekdays the first 2 times and on a weekend the 3rd time. Granted on weekends they are way busier but the food still came out at an average wait time. - the wait for a table isn't long at all. Even on the weekends when they are super busy the wait was like one to two minutes for them to clear and clean the table. This place really has nothing but positives! Me & my kiddo had a trip to IL. We are from California. Found this spot on Yelp. The wait was pretty long on a Sunday morning but we stuck it out. I had a veggie omelet and my girl had strawberry French toast. The food was SO GOOD! Our server was super sweet. I had a really disappointing experience here today. My mother was visiting from out of town and we decided to swing by for a late breakfast before a day filled with shopping. The young woman who seated us was kind and accommodating. Our server was off putting--she called my mother and I "girls." I'm 30+ and my mother is 60+...go figure. Nevertheless, our food came out and my eggs were literally brown they were cooked so hard. I asked if they could make them over. The server said it's how they come, and I asked if they can make them over...again. She finally obliged and brought me out the same skillet, different eggs. Cool. I take one bite and the hash browns are burnt. Like, to the point in which the burnt flavor is in every bite I take, and they're so hard it's difficult to chew. I began picking out the burnt parts and it became just too much. I'm over the food at this point, and I don't believe in sending food back multiple times. I ask for the manager, and a woman comes by, asking if we wanted anything else instead. We say no, but she insists there must be something else we want. After spending an hour in a restaurant, with a 6 month old, burnt food, and no resolve in sight, I'm ready to go. The woman then calls the owner who was even more disappointing. He said he couldn't do anything besides make it over. I asked him to remove from the tab and we can call it a day. He refused and discounted the plate by 50%. If 50% off for burnt food is how one resolves unsatisfactory food is how he does business--he just lost mine. I will not be returning. read more

The French toast were okay, it's different bread than regular French toast bread and I would prefer the regular French toast bread. The eggs were good and well as the bacon. The hash browns were also okay, they aren't shredded has browns, they're more like thin slices of potatoes but still good. As a sous-chef I applaud the kitchen and chefs, the food came out hot and fast, I felt like I barely waited. I tried this place for brunch on a Thursday around 11am and was seated promptly, the service was good and attentive. I had the corn beef brisket skillet and loved it there was more brisket and eggs then potatoes which was a plus. My brother and his gf had the Mexican skillet and liked it. This establishment is racist if I could give them a zero I would. The owner Sam or Anthony the guy kept changing his name and was rude and very nasty after the kitchen staff prepared my order wrong. I ordered a country skillet without mushrooms onions and tomatoes and let them know that I am allergic to the mushrooms only to receive my food with mushrooms anyway. After letting them know that my order was messed up they questioned me as to why I ate my meal another red flag and offered to take $1 off the meal. Also me and our party had no utensils and after being given our food had to wait 15 minutes for utensils. This place don't deserve to be supported by anyone and will be reporting this experience to the better business bureau. This place is trash and I will never ever eat here again read more

We were in the area and found this little gem in this neighborhood! I have to say, I've driven by it many times but never saw it! Usually, breakfast places are a hit or miss but this one was impressive from the start as we got seated as soon as we walked in. I'm usually a country omelette type a guy but this time I decided to go to Gyro skillet and my wife went with a veggie skillet and egg whites! The service was on point, timely very friendly and hands down a good place to have breakfast or brunch. Just went here for the first time with 3 adults and a toddler and we could not have been more pleased. We had Michelle as a waitress and she was absolutely amazing, not only she was quick, efficient and patient but she was so kind. My nephew (who is 2 years old and very impatient) LOVED her and she made sure to do everything to make sure he continued to smile. The food was also delicious with a ton of options no matter what your dietary needs may be (my sister is a vegan and they had multiple food options for her). Went here for the first time on Sunday with my family. I've heard nothing but good things about this place, and I'm happy I listened and came here. The owner came up when he saw we had a kid with us to ask opinions on updating the kids menu. He would like to stay away from fried foods, and have healthier alternative options. I was extremely happy to hear that. Most restaurants only have fried food on the kids menu, it's nice to have a place that wants our kids to have healthy options,m. We came in for breakfast, I got the Greek-town skillet. It was amazing! The ingredients were nice and fresh! The gyro on the skillet was some of the best I've ever had. I can't wait to come back and try some lunch! It was extremely busy, because obviously the food is great. The only recommendation I have is a bigger location. :) read more
