We stopped by Maple Street Biscuit Company after seeing all of the great reviews on them! We really enjoyed our experience here! The restaurant is a cute little breakfast/brunch spot and the customer service is wonderful! The food was alright. My daughter ordered the biscuits and gravy. It was served cold so we asked a server if we could have it heated up in the microwave for a minute or two. Connor (the manager) came out to apologize and informed us that they were remaking the biscuits and gravy as they do not have a microwave and that they make their gravy from scratch. Once served hot, my daughter really enjoyed her meal! The gravy had amazing flavor - it was super savory and had a nice little kick to it! I ordered the keto brunch bowl and it was not what I had expected. I thought that it was a "breakfast bowl", but it was not. When I mixed everything together (after cutting the veggies into smaller pieces) - everything tasted great - I think that the goat cheese made the meal! My husband ordered the taco bundle (sausage + bacon). He enjoyed these. He also ordered a flaky biscuit which is served with housemade strawberry and blueberry jam! This was oh so good! The biscuit was super fluffy and the jams were SOOO sweet and tasty! For drinks, we had the vanilla foam cold brew and our daughter had the chocolate milk. All good! We will definitely be back again! This was our first time here and we came on a Sunday morning. My husband got the biscuits and gravy. I got the hash bowl! I really wanted an egg and cheese biscuit, but the menu said this item was only available Monday-Friday, which I thought was weird. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy. My bowl was nothing to write home about. It was overly salty and I would not order it again. Unfortunately, we will probably try many other places before returning here again. read more

Amazing work, staff and just simply everything all around. The only thing I will say is how expensive it is for what you get. So clean. Probably some of the most kindest staff I have ever come across. They will do well. I got the maple cold brew. Absolutely to die for. I will for sure be getting that again. I got the retro breakfast to try a little bit of everything. I got biscuits and gravy with it. The gravy is my favorite gravy of my life. I put my eggs with it of course. My boyfriend loved his meal. We ordered and sat down, only to realize about 29 minutes later that they had a 1 hour wait for their food?!? We only realized this after the table next to us complained. It's ok if the business is running behind; short staffed, etc. it would have been nice to know up front. Once our food finally came out, we were a bit disappointed to find it was cold. The gravy is wonderful, but to wait all that time for cold food was bad. They did however give us a full refund and $10 to use again. I however will not be back. read more

Well it was dine out day, enjoying the food atmosphere of North of Columbus. The Maple Street Biscuit Company, a new restaurant in the area, has the opportunity to be a great breakfast diner, however the menu is so so and the atmosphere reminds me of a hospital cafeteria. Service was fine, the clerk taking our order was attentive and friendly. The wait wasn't bad for our food, however the Bowl was over spiced, the scrambled eggs were rubbery and inedible. The steak tocos were ok, but nothing to make me want to return. Even the coffee was marginal. If you're looking for hospital cafeteria food, you found it, if you are looking for a breakfast go to, go across the street to Bobs. read more

It's a nice place, clean, and very popular. I visited on a Saturday at 10 am to meet a friend for breakfast. This is definitely not a place for coffee and conversation as they are very busy and will pester you obnoxiously to move on while we still had food on our plates. I had the squawking goat. It was good but not great. The fried chicken was hot and delicious and the goat cheese was rich and gooey. They were great together. The disappointment was the pepper jelly. It was tangy but cold and cooled off the entire meal too quickly. I was also disappointed in the biscuit. I was hoping for a rich crumbly biscuit but this biscuit was fluffy instead. Not bad, but not what I was hoping for. I also tried the fried green tomatoes. They were thick cut and had a thick crispy coating. They were very peppery- probably a combination of white and black pepper and too spicy for my friend but I like spicy so I thought they were pretty amazing. I did like the coffee but again, not a place to linger over coffee. The tables in the back are too close together for comfort and when we moved to a larger table we were badgered non- stop with employees seeing if they could "get us anything ". Yes. The Powell location has a smaller menu than advertised on their website and there are basically no sweet options. It's strange, if I get a biscuit I want a sweet meal. I get that others prefer savory but if you have "biscuit" in your restaurant name, I'd assume I can wrangle up a sweet breakfast. read more

Greeted when we walked through the door, we looked at the menu. There was a lot of hustle and bustle behind the counter and the aroma was incredible. The decor is modern cabin with wood on the walls. The dining area was neat and tidy. My dining companion ordered the chocolate waffles and a hot cocoa. I ordered the Retro Plate with biscuits and gravy with a coffee . The plated food looked delicious. My companion thought the hot cocoa was one of the best he's ever had. The waffles were served with strawberries and whipped cream but didn't meet the chocolate chip quota he had expected. The Retro plate was good- loved the potatoes. My only complaint with my meal was the amount of pepper in the sausage gravy. Way too much for my taste but not enough that I wouldn't visit again but ask for no pepper on anything. read more

We stopped by Saturday around 10:30 and no one in line. The cashier was not very attentive. We asked for the biscuits to be separate so they would not be soggy during our hour drive with the food. We also ordered the Sweet Grace but he didn't key that in and we had to order and wait another 10 minutes for it. The biscuits were not on the side. The food was very good but we were expecting jam to be included but it wasn't. A little disappointing they didn't have all the items listed on the menu either.
