I had an experience earlier with the employees and owner. The salad was rotten. The owner got upset when I complained and mad because I did not leave enough tip to them. I should have left nothing. The owner should pay them more if tips are not enough. After all, I am not the owner, my responsibility is to pay for the food and I will give a tip only if I like the service. We've been meaning to try this place out and finally has a chance this Monday morning around 10:30 am. I love the outdoor seating but the traffic on Ash was just too loud. We went inside and, well it was just as loud. We were looking for a different vibes so we left. Over all the place had a feel of neglect. Every time I have been here, the food and drink have been excellent. Their oatmeal bowl is literally the best thing for breakfast right before work. It is so filling and tasty and you can get it to-go. They even have a variety of flavors for espresso drinks. I haven't tried their breakfast sandwiches or pastry items, but they look fresh and delicious. All the staff that work here are very nice and I always see them interacting with everyone as if they are all regulars (which they probably are lol). The only complaint I have from here is that, although the food has been great every time, there also has been a considerable wait, EVERY TIME. The place is busy, but sometimes the wait has been unjustified, like with my oatmeal, which doesn't seem like it should take long to prepare, always garners about a 10-15 minute wait after ordering. This is long, considering I'm usually getting it to-go so I can eat it at work. I end up getting to work later than I want, so I have to scarf down the food. It has caused me to sometimes decide against going here for sake of time. All that said though, still 4 stars read more

We've always wanted to come here. I saw good Yelp review and we were so excited. Plus, they are open on Sunday. First, they were pretty slow. There were two cars in front of me and we waited 20ish minutes in line. The car in front of me just ordered two drinks and I couldn't figure out why it took so long. Second, I ordered house drip but they charged me for Americano. The BLT panini tasted good. It was $10 but the portion was pretty small. We hadn't seen our son for awhile and had a lot of catching up to do and some business to attend to. The didn't mind us taking a table (it was between peak hours) and we appreciated their gracious hospitality more than I can say. Easy WIFI. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend. I've visited this place several times, most recently placed a large lunch order (10 lunches or so) . They said to go thru the drive thru which I sat in for sometime before going inside in which they did not have my order ready on paper to be paid for- she needed my list (I just happened to bring). No help getting it to my car or a box so had to make multiple trips and had to ask for drink carriers. There was plenty of staff in the front of the house to do so. Distracted, I forgot to double check the order and I when I got back to the meeting I found 4 meals not in the bags. They graciously brought them too us.. thank goodness for that! strawberry lemonade was barely drinkable it was not flavorful and was very sour. My husband and I were in Spokane for a few days. We came here for breakfast and had to return again because it was so yummy. The staff is friendly and helpful too. I had the veggie burrito one day. It was really good. I went with a sweet roll the next time. It was delicious. Coffee drinks were good here too of course. We found this adorable bistro while visiting Spokane for the first time! The food was so delicious that we ate here every day! We tried different items each time and even took some to go for our drive home!! Our favorites were the stuffed bagels, giant cinnamon rolls, and iced chai with house made vanilla sauce!! You can tell the time and effort put into this cute little place with most items made in house from scratch!! The inside is super clean and the patio is shaded plus dog friendly (even our pup got a homemade treat!!). The drive thru is convenient when you're in a rush. Tomato basil soup was very rich and creamy. I loved it, ate my whole side. Panini was missing something... but it was still pretty good... came with chips and I believe there was supposed to be a pickle, but I didn't get a pickle. lol. Their lemonade... I was told its made fresh everyday which is nice, and you can add real fruit into it. I asked the girl working, if she had to pick between a lemonade and smoothie, which one she'd pick and she said lemonade.. It wasn't very sweet, kind of bitter, and I added strawberries to my lemonade, but overall, I didn't like it. Kind of expensive for a lemonade, but I guess next time I'll go with the smoothie... We arrived 25 minutes before closing and ordered. They literally kicked us out at 3:04. I've never been to a restaurant that didn't let you finish your meal. When we left, 20 minutes later after we finished eating, outside in the 85-degree heat, employees were still there. They chased away another 2 customers shortly before closing and I heard them say lock it, lock it lock it. I certainly wouldn't want my employees to treat my customers that way. Its a shame because the food was good but we definitely won't be back to a place we are not welcome. The place is cute and could have so much potential but not with the employees' attitudes. Perhaps they should close earlier if they don't want to stay past 3:30. The other odd thing is they only offer a 1/2 sandwich with GF bread. Hands down one of the best bistro experiences I have ever had. My latte and chicken pesto sandwich were both amazing and so was the large selection of bakery items. But the staff is really what is the best. I hung out for about an hour and a half working and eating- every single employee that interacted with me what so kind and helpful. My boyfriend and I came here after he picked me up from the airport. It was a Sunday morning and though it was pretty busy, there wasn't a wait. I got a BLT sandwich, pumpkin cake, and a decaf drip coffee. He got a chicken pesto sandwich and a brown sugar lavender latte. The counter person was very welcoming. The bistro is cozy and home-y feeling. A bit small, so coming here with a large group might not be a good idea, but there are lots of windows and a high ceiling so it doesn't feel cramped. Everything came out really quickly. My coffee tasted burnt to me but maybe it was just a dark roast. The BLT sandwich was great. Very flavorful and the bread was nice and thick but not chewy (I think it was a focaccia bread?). They ended up giving me a full sandwich instead of the half that I ordered but they didn't charge me for the extra. The pumpkin cake tasted like it was made from actual pumpkins. The frosting was amazing, though I wish the cake itself had a little more spice to it. I tried a sip of my boyfriend's latte and it just tasted like coffee with a little bit of honey to me. He also said that in general, he couldn't taste any lavender (though when he got to the bottom of it, he said that he could taste it a bit more). Where do I even begin? I adore the owners Emily and Betty. Sorry all you other amazing shops out there, this one's my favorite. They are right by my house for starters and also shout out to women owned businesses! I've been eating the gluten-free muffins for years and since they took over there have been even more innovative treats that I have come to love with all my heart.... my gluten-free heart specifically. I never had a Panini style sandwich before 2020. That turkey club though... And you can get a side of applesauce, which is included in at least one of the meals. It reminds me of apple pie filling! The lattes are delicious, I love the flavor of the coffee itself, to me it tastes rather dark and bold and complements perfectly with the ratios of flavor they use in the original drinks they invent.
