I was dining with my wife and daughter; their meals were served first, and my order was completely overlooked until after they had finished eating. There was no gesture to accommodate the inconvenience, which added to our frustration. Additionally, the pricing felt somewhat high for the overall experience, and we were surprised to see a 6% surcharge for credit card payments. To my understanding, in Chicago and under Illinois law, credit card surcharges are generally capped at 3% or the actual processing cost, whichever is lower. I told my friend that I found a sushi spot that sold fries and she insisted that we try it. We got an order of fries and a mango agua fresca. The made the fries half shrimp half steak. The shrimp was way better than the steak. The steak was cheap and tough. The sauces were really good. What we really wanted was the box that had 2 sushi rolls and an order of fries. We about choked when the server told us that was $60. For a lunch we could have gone to a nicer sushi restaurant closer to the city and order AYCE. This place is so over priced. Plus there was a 6% fee to pay with a card. Thank goodness we had cash. The server was really nice. The restaurant is cute enough for a neighborhood place. My best advice as a restaurant consultant. Find a way to put a lunch special on your menu under $15. And a dinner under $25 But what do I know? I did notice a truck outside. This place has potential, however it was overpriced. Food was mid . The fish was raw on the inside. Sushi was bland. They don't have a house Marisco habanero salsa which I believe is needed for a seafood place. Michelada was $15 without alcohol which is a little overpriced. I'm not one to complain about food prices so long as it's worth the price. The sauce on the shrimp and octopus dish was super oily it was more oil than sauce. Service was alright nothing special. Bathroom trashcan in woman's bathroom did not work and neither did the paper towel dispenser. They didn't bring us the complementary chips and dip until after he ordered. Drinks took a while to be served and I also think they should have the salsas out with napkins at the table. There's nothing worse than having to keep asking for napkins. Also there was a piece of plastic in my octopus shrimp dish but I didn't even complain I didn't want them to think we wanted anything for free. Another thing is they didn't bring us limes to compliment the food I believe that's an extra charge which is uncommon for a seafood place. There was 4 of us and we chose the only available table that fit us (the one in the middle) and sat there for 20+ minutes. The food here was really good! Great flavors and pretty platting. But, We we're extremely disappointed to find only 4 sushi items on menu and they were charging high sushi prices and they don't have ginger to go with the sushi. The complementary ceviche was great but the only gave us such a small amount. They did have happy hour for the wings which was $.48 each, they don't sale alcohol nor do they allow you to bring your own and when I asked for Sriracha for my sushi they literally only gave me a tablespoon worth. The customer service was alright, nothing to rave about. The inside is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous but the music is extremely loud I could hardly hear my honey talking to me. TBH, this place has so much potential to be so high priced and advertising something such as sushi in the name when they only offer 4 items and not have all the condiments for this item. This place is a hidden gem in the Eastside community. When you walk in you come to notice how small the place is. The decor os something you would see at a downtown restaurant. It's self seating and the servers are pretty quick to greet you. There is a lot of delicious food to choose from. So come hungry! Today's visit I ordered the Mar & Suchii role, regular ceviche, and a empanada. Everything came out pretty quickly. The flavors were so fresh and what you would expect from a tropical restaurant. Definitely reminded me of Summer. I would recommend this place to everyone! read more

Horrible service online it states hours of closing till 8 during week days and I have gone twice an hour before closing and it's closed. I even called ahead of time too make sure they weren't closing and the girl stated they were closing for dine it till 7:45 got there at 7 and as soon as I open the door she says they're closed. Why not updated hours or say otherwise through the phone if you don't want to attend your customers then say so. read more
