Vegan chocolate with nerds and sprinkles

I've always loved this location. They have a number of delicious interesting flavours. With me being dairy free, it was amazing to see they have a few (not to many) vegan flavours which is so wonderful. I hope they can bring in more!

The coffee bar (coffee ice cream mixed with snickers, skor and caramel sauce). I really should have axed the snickers (I'm not the biggest fan of them) but I did add cookie dough and raspberries (on top). For the price paid, portion received and service, this gets my vote, but overall ice cream quality is were it loses some points.

They didn't have what I ordered in stock, I was charged $17 and got nothing. What a RIP OFF, would recommend all people don't come here

Nonexistent customer service and small variety of ice cream. First and last time visiting this place.

Expensive. Ice cream itself is Not that delicious but it's famous. Maybe cuz they mix ice creams in front of you and add toppings you like?

She recommended: Rosemary garlic pull-apart, and that was REALLY GOOD. Definitely a 5/5. French onion pull-apart, 4/5. Fig, brie, and prosciutto croissant, 4/5 (wife's favourite). Croque monsieur, 4/5 (kids' favourite). I also ordered an oat milk latte with vanilla syrup, which was 5/5. Really good latte!!! They source their coffee beans from "Honest to Pete," located in Vancouver. A 1 lb bag costs $25, and I'm planning to pick one up on my next visit!

What I tried Hazelnut roasted banana choux - Hazelnut monte, roasted hazelnuts, candied bananas and house made praline. Mango and coconuts cake - coconut mouse mango cremeux almond dacquoise and white chocolate crunch. Choux was very delicious! Choux dough was nicely crispy exterior and filling was not overly sweet, strong hazelnut flavor, really delicious. The house made praline and hazelnut cream paired so well. I really love this item. Mango and coconuts cake was also good. Coconut mouse was light texture and not overly sweet. It paired with Mango creameux well. And I like to have them with chocolate crunch. I have always thought this place's pastries were high level. Highly recommend.

As someone who is dairy free, I love the fact that they had a dairy free option for the cakes. When I arrived to pick up the cake, the service was wonderful and quick. I was able to grab the cake with no issues. The space itself is gorgeous and bright. There are a few tables for seating area and I noticed they had a ton of other desserts to choose from (if I recall correctly, they had a vegan option too). I ordered the double chocolate flavour cake. I couldn't eat it unfortunately as I am dairy free but here's what my family said: they all really enjoy the cake and loved that it wasn't overly sweet. It was just the right amount of sweet. The only thing that I guess my family preferred was they felt the cake was too dense (they preferred more sponginess) but other than that, it was really good. No complaints. I'd love to come back again soon and try their other desserts.

I heard they newly opened in Port Moody location, so, I dropped by. What I got: Strawberry chocolate, Oreo, Mango and Salted caramel. I could taste Mango's fruity with a bit tangy flavor . Since cheese cake texture was so rich and buttery, Oreo crumble blended so well. I believe this is a popular one. Salted caramel was also great. I love the rich cheese cake and caramel sauce on the top. FlavoThis must be one of the popular item. Overall, I really enjoyed visiting the shop. There are so many variety of mini cheesecakes. Can't wait to try another item!

Damn wow! I saw a Sailor Moon cake and cookies at a friend's birthday party and had to find out…read moremore about where she got it. Gamers, movie, cartoon and anime fans alert, you're gonna love this cake designer. Bad Ass Cakes is based in Vancouver, BC. Their Facebook page says their location is in North Vancouver, but their location is actually in the central Vancouver area which is convenient and accessible to everyone. The page is www.facebook.com/forBadAssPeople. I'm a total gamer and anime geek at heart and was excited by what I saw. The creator designs cakes and cookies with themes like League of Legends, Sailor Moon, Iron Man, Star Wars, MineCraft, Portal, etc. He does fashion and regular custom cakes too for weddings and birthdays, and cakes at EXP Restaurant + Bar (another favorite venue of mine). When my gf unveiled the cake at her birthday dinner, all the guests (and myself) were really surprised at how gorgeous the cake and cookies were. The designer made a pink Chibi Moon vanilla cake with pink icing inside, and the exterior was made with fondant. It was high quality tasting fondant, and tasted like a delicious marshmallowy flavor. The fondant was not overly sweet (which other bakeries tend to do) so it paired very nicely with the cake. The cookies were super cute, they were shortbread cookies that were chewy and soft, and the icing was also not overly sweet. Everything tasted good and I highly recommend Bad Ass Cakes, especially to those who love games, anime and movies if you're looking for that extra special custom cake! I want one too now. The photos below are hers, since mine came out too blurry with my crappy phone cam. I received permission to use her photos for my review. I was there physically at the party.
