The person behind the counter was very friendly and made small talk, suggested us some flavors. you can order one or two scoops, large or kiddie size. they also have an option to buy quarts or pints as well. they have quite a few icecream flavors, milkshakes, bakery treats, candies, icecream sandwiches, fudge, etc. we ordered cookie dough cookie, cookie monster. the best part was the toy shop inside the icecream shop. it was a delight for the kids who visited. the decor of the shop is bright and colorful. we enjoyed our visit. there is plenty of free parking on site. read more

2026 - Review #16 Stopped in for their grand opening and was amazed at all this ice cream shop has to other. - Fresh Baked Goods - Ice Cream - Snacks - Drinks - Toys During their grand opening there was a balloonist creating different balloon animals. We were able to sample a few flavors and enjoyed all that we tried. Not a lot of spacing for eating inside so be mindful when planning a visit. We live nearby, so of course we wanted to stop by to see a new place! I'd say the overall vibe can be described as... overstimulating. Full of random toy and plushie Knick knacks and busy walls and decor. What I can give them is the impressive treat variety goes far beyond ice cream and extends to fudges, candies, and Caramel apples. Bf and i's cup of 2 scoops with 2 flavors was around $8. We got chocolate brownie and mint, and of the two, the brownie was the better one for sure. It was just alright ice cream, nothing crazy good or bad. There are two small tables in the back, but overall not much sitting room. Overall, sloan's seems like an alright option. I'm more likely to go somewhere like Andy's or Coldstone, but you could come here a lot and never get bored of what you get. read more

***MOTHERS AND TEENS, PLEASE BE ALERT!!!*** After dinner, my daughter wanted something sweet, so we searched Google and decided to stop by Sloan's in Plano for ice cream. I stayed in the car since I wasn't planning on getting anything. About 10 minutes later, she came rushing out of the store visibly shaken, yanking on the car door to get in. The moment she got inside, she said, *"We need to leave right now. I don't want him getting our license plate number."* When we got home, she told me what happened. The employee working behind the counter had started what seemed like a harmless conversation. However, he began asking personal questions, including where she was from and what kind of car she drove. The conversation then took a disturbing turn when he asked for her phone number--not once, but twice. The second time was **after she clearly told him she was only 16 years old**, and he admitted that he was **25**!!! Needless to say, I was furious. I contacted management that same evening but had to follow up again two days later before receiving a response. The manager reviewed the surveillance footage, but there was no audio. Instead of addressing the seriousness of the situation, the explanation I received focused on how the interaction only lasted six or seven minutes, another customer was helped during that time, and employees are not permitted to have their phones out. But inappropriate behavior doesn't require a long conversation. It can happen in seconds. As a parent, my concern is that someone working in an environment that regularly attracts young teens has access to countless opportunities to initiate these kinds of interactions. Perhaps this was an isolated incident, but I refuse to dismiss it. Please talk to your daughters about trusting their instincts. If a situation feels uncomfortable or unsafe, leave immediately and tell a trusted adult. No ice cream, job title, or public setting is worth ignoring a gut feeling. And for those wondering--I don't know if the overpriced ice cream was good as my daughter was so upset by the experience that she put it in the freezer untouched when we got home. There was a staff member.. around 25.. who, kept asking my friends daughter for her number, what car she drives, all while her mom and i were right there.. and did not care that she was only 16. It left her feeling so uncomfortable, she never wants to go back again because she is scared that guy will be there. The manager told me he can't do anything about it. Wife & I stopped there on a weeknight about 8:00 PM. Easy access, adequate parking. Pretty busy on a hot summer evening. Only two tables inside for seating and one outside, but most people seemed to take their ice cream with them anyway. They had a floppy blow-up advertising man in front, which was really really loud so you couldn't sit outside. Lots of color on the walls, and pink chandeliers add to the funky ambience. Lots of junky toys and other tchotchkes for sale inside, which is kind of strange for an ice cream shop, but whatever... Also very delicious looking cookies, brownies and other treats for sale. The place was clean. Excellent ice cream. Very tasty, creamy and smooth, yet firm, which is great. Very friendly and helpful staff. They said their ice cream is shipped in from Florida, but they make the cones right at the shop, and also make some treats locally. I had a "single" cone which really holds two scoops (cookie dough & raspberry chocolate chunk for me), in a chocolate dipped waffle cone, and wife had the smallest cup of mint chip. Both excellent. But $20 for a cone and small cup of ice cream is a bit much, quite a bit much, in fact, otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. read more

Cute space, but disorganized & unfriendly staff, strange choice of music (AC/DC with cherubs on the wall?) and received the wrong sizes/flavors. Ice cream was okay but I wouldn't go back. Interesting that they have bulk candy, cookies, and chocolate but then the shop is crammed with tchotchkes for sale. Also almost every flavor had chocolate of some sort which wasn't ideal for someone that doesn't like chocolate. Could use some focus in order to be a destination. read more

He keeps everything running smoothly, stays professional under pressure, and makes sure customers are taken care of without things feeling rushed or disorganized. A fun and wonderful dessert experience was friendly and engaging. allowed me to taste several and was patient as I decided on which yummy flavor to choose. There were so many unusual flavors to select atmosphere was fun and whimsical, just as an ice cream parlor should be very happy that we stopped to get ice cream here. I was so impressed with all of the sweet options. Especially their chocolate chocolate chip gluten-free cookie. Good gluten-free cookies are hard to find and usually not worth the money or the calories. this one was worth it. read more

We discovered Slaone's this evening. What an adorable ice cream shop! The decorations are so whimsical. Plenty of delicious ice cream choices along with candy and a few other items. The owner personal greeted us and the staff was nice too. Definitely recommend. read more
