When we went to ask, the doctor said it was due to the jaw. I proved it wasn't the jaw, so the doctor switched to saying it was the teeth. I showed him that before the braces, my children's teeth weren't like that, but the doctor blamed it on the fact that they had suggested extracting teeth earlier. I told him that he had said he would see if it was impossible to do it, and if not, he wouldn't. That's the dentist's job; he knows what should and shouldn't be done. He's still ignoring it and hasn't made any adjustments. After the braces, their teeth look worse than before. The worst part is that I had both of them treated at the same time.

So the key is to stick to speaking to the staff, not whoever their calls get transferred to. Tip: when their call center answers the phone, ask them to transfer you directly to the staff in Tracy. I don't waste my time speaking to anyone that picks up from their call center. Don't let them try to talk you out of it, keep requesting to get transferred.

The staff hates their jobs as they are rude and can only make appointments. Management cannot submit a simple insurance claim for a kids braces. My daughter took x-rays twice, impressions twice and both times the insurance company sent me a letter stating the claim was submitted incomplete by Western Dental. What a complete let down! They bill for as many services possible to the insurance company such as X-rays without delivering the end product to their patients. Great business model where you bill, bill, bill and give your customers nothing. A total scam!!!! After doing my research, I called CDC and at first they didn't answer, which is understandable, either dealing with a patient or on another car. So i emailed them instead to schedule an appt. They called me back within the hour and I was able to get in the same week and on a Saturday too! Which was amazing for my work schedule. The lady who scheduled my appointment was super friendly and had great mannerisms! Fast forward to the appointment... i checked in, filled out paperwork and waiting about 8 minutes to get taken back to my room and get X-rays. The assistant that helped me was super friendly, talkative and was very gentle during the X-rays, later on i found out he's the hygienist! Which he's also amazing at that! The doctor came in about 15 min later after my X-rays were taken, she got delayed with another patients procedure, which is totally understandable, front desk and assistants came in to inform me of delays so I appreciate that! The dr was very sweet, went over my history and took a look at my teeth and i had Zero cavities and my overall mouth looked great! Which is good to know since i went to a different dentist last year and told me i needed to get all this work done which I knew wasn't true, they just wanted the $$.
