All good on this first time ordering from here - food was tasty and really enough for TWO meals ! Food arrived much earlier than the promised time - Bravo ! Only negative : salad dressing containers way too small for such a large salad !

OH MY GOODNESS!!! How did I miss this place!?!?!? This family owned business has been here for 23 years! Maybe THE BEST pizza I've had in a very long time! There's nothing fancy about this little hole in the wall spot, but the moment you walk in to the restaurant, the delicious smell hooks you right in!! They have many salads and amazing pastas (tried my friend's shrimp Alfredo, and it was divine ) and chicken wings and lots and lots of pizza! Whether you like thick crust, or thin crust, gluten-free or vegan pizza they have it all! I ordered two slices of thin crust, extra crispy with mushroom sausage, and a little extra cheese. I wanted more. It was so delicious.!!!! This place is perfectly nostalgic of a little pizzeria in New York City and the guys that work there are fantastic!!! Super friendly, and fast service - could not have been nicer!! Located a little strip plaza at the corner of Coldwater Canyon in Magnolia Boulevard in Sherman Oaks. If you're somewhere else in the city, it will be worth your drive! Can't wait to go back the next time a pizza craving hits!

    Basic "Cesar" salad $13

Ordered a mediterranean salad... they delivered a Cesar. I asked what they could do... they said If I don't touch the Cesar.. They will deliver the meditation in 1.5 hours!!! 13 bucks The Cesar was iceberg lettuce, parmesan cheese, croutons and Cesar dressing... they said the mediterranean is the same... but has olives and onions....lol The pasta we ordered was trash also.. no flavor... bad service...

We grabbed two breakfast sandwiches, one with bacon and one without, and both were standout in their own way. The first thing you notice? These sandwiches come out piping hot, wrapped tight and ready to go. Crack them open and you're hit with perfectly cooked eggs and an almost ridiculous amount of gooey, melted cheese. Not skimpy, not balanced, loaded in the best possible way. The Kaiser roll deserves its own shoutout: lightly toasted with just enough crunch on the outside while staying soft and pillowy inside. It holds everything together without getting soggy, even with all that cheese. * The meat version had crispy, flavorful bacon layered just right, salty, smoky, and not overdone. * The meatless one didn't feel like a compromise at all, still rich, filling, and honestly just as indulgent thanks to the cheese and eggs. No frills, no gimmicks, just classic deli breakfast sandwiches executed really well. Bottom line: If you want a hot, cheesy, perfectly toasted breakfast sandwich that actually hits the spot, Paulie's is a win. I can't wait to go back for lunch!

The Downtown Turkey (my choice) is pretty basic (which was fine by me) but it was very dry and I only had half, leaving with a stomachache for the rest of the afternoon. My dining companion had the Penne Alla Vodka which she really liked. I didn't get to try any, but if a pasta dish is the winner from a deli, well, enough said. A while back, Yelp listed this as a business to try. I'd saved this for the next time I was in Studio City. My entire feeling while heading home was "I drove all the way over here for this?!"

Parking is probably the biggest downside. It's street parking only, and it can be a little difficult to find a spot. There isn't much seating inside, so we grabbed a table outside. Luckily, the weather was nice, and it ended up being a great place to enjoy lunch. Service was friendly and efficient, and while the prices aren't the cheapest, they also didn't feel unreasonable given the quality of the food. I ordered Ruben's Cousin on Dutch crunch, and I'd definitely recommend it. The Dutch crunch bread had a great texture, and the sandwich itself was juicy, flavorful, and well-balanced. Nothing overcomplicated--just a really solid sandwich done well. Overall, it's a spot I'd happily return to, as there are already several other sandwiches I'd come back to try despite the parking situation.

The discounts can be incredible and I appreciate sale-priced groceries in today's economy as well as the opportunity to support local and international farms. Sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, low sugar and no sugar added cookies, pastries and cakes, caviar, dried fish, pickled Herring, perfectly ripe berries, smoked fish, halva, cheese spread, jams, and artisan teas, all five stars. About six years ago, I had been exposed to high levels of radiation according to a good old fashioned Geiger counter. My health began to drastically decline and I became very weak. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience:( The customer service was cold and unwelcoming from the start. No greeting at all when we walked in, it felt like we were inconveniencing the staff just by ordering. For a specialty shop with premium pricing, the experience should be welcoming or some what friendly from staff?? After all the customers are what keep business open... Speaking of pricing: I fully understand imported snacks come at a markup. But $10 (before tax) for a single soda is excessive. I ordered a BLT, two sodas, chips, and candy, and the total was shockingly high for what we received. There's a difference between niche pricing and feeling taken advantage of. What really sealed it for me, though, was the lack of professionalism. We chose to eat outside, and shortly after, the employee who made our sandwiches came outside and began smoking weed near the seating area. The smell was extremely strong and made me nauseous to the point where I couldn't even enjoy my food. Regardless of personal choices, that's simply not appropriate around customers who are actively eating. As far as the sandwich goes, and why I still have 3 stars- the BLT was exceptional and probably the best I've ever had. I would pay for it again but won't be back due to all other aspects. So take that as you will! A cool concept can only carry a place so far. Between the service, the pricing, and the overall atmosphere, this wasn't an experience I'd repeat.
