This was supposed to be a quick stop, but it ended up being a highlight of my afternoon! Reno's Pizzeria is one of the best pizza experiences I've had since moving to the United States. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Nick, who is not only one of the most pleasant business owners I've met, but also deeply committed to customer service and very proud of his business. He took the time to share with me the history of the restaurant and his family, which I loved hearing about. It made me feel like he was my longtime friend! Coming from Europe, I don't often get to experience this kind of genuine hospitality here, which made it very special. And the pizza was truly one of the best, Nick was definitely right about that! The crust, the crispness, the amount of cheese, the sauce... just perfect! The ambience was wonderful, showing the story Nick shared with me. They also do accept Apple Pay. Thank you so much, Nick. We found this amazing restaurant from Google and am so grateful we did! The staff was not just kind and friendly, but SO ACCOMMODATING! We were treated with such kindness and friendliness the second we walked in the door. The waiter explained the menu to us and was always there with great conversation and a smile! We ordered the vodka pasta, the chicken Alfredo pizza and green pizza. Let me tell you, no lie, this was hands down the best pizza I HAVE EVER HAD! I was so sad that I got full, because I wanted to keep eating. LOL, no lie! We are not even from this area, but 100% we will be back! The restaurant has such a warm friendly feel! Yet another hidden gem tucked away in a mall, Reno's has a surprisingly deep menu, but more importantly, what it does it handled with care. First off - the calzones are sensational: roughly the size of a pro football, stuffed with your choice of items. That you can make adjustments (and they're open to it) is awesome. These come out piping hot, so if you're sharing or splitting this, getting a sandwich or pizza is a good idea. The meatballs are handmade and so is the sauce - you can taste the difference with both those items. The sauce isn't sweet at all - good flavor on sandwiches and inside calzones. Because they also do take out (in addition to sit-down) one positive of that: when you're done, just go to the counter to pay the bill. No wasted time! The owner himself is often out and about chatting you up, making recommendations, so on...if you're in the area, this is a terrific break from the usual! read more

This is my first time trying Reno's. I'm always on the hunt for really good pizza, and I liked the look of this place and the vibe of their menu, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm really happy to say that this is a great slice. They do a really good New York style Supreme. I also got the cheesy garlic bread which I will say is a little small and a little flat. It also doesn't come with a sauce, but it's a decent garlic cheesy bread. Lovers of the discontinued Costco Supreme will find Reno's Supreme to be a damn good replica. I will definitely be back at Reno's to get this exact pizza!! This is much better than certain pizzeria I tried down the street a while back. The tomato sauce is nice and not too sweet, and the toppings are really generous. It's also nicely cheesy. The price was $23 for an XL, and the wait wasn't too long either. This family owned pizza restaurant is a nice change from all the tourist restaurants in and around Universal Studios. The owner, Reno, was there that night taking orders, serving and busing tables. Papa Reno also offered my son-in-law and I a beer while we waited for our take out order. The pizza was good, but unfortunately we did not get to try their Philly Cheesesteak, which Papa Reno stated was "the best in the city!" We will definitely come back if we are in the area. read more

Good food does not always have to be from a high end expensive restaurant. A well concealed restaurant with no fancy decorations can deliver great food too. This restaurant was such a restaurant. The owner provided us with some comic relief. He recommended the most delicious pizza I've ever had - half Chicken Fettuccini and half Renos Supreme. I've come here a few times now. I get the gluten free pepperoni sometimes I add sausage. I just moved to the area and it's been hard finding a good gluten free pizza that isn't super thick crust. I did come here and got a Philly cheesesteak that my partner ordered. He's from Chicago and he wasn't really impressed. I haven't gone there in so long that I even forgot about this lovely, yummy restaurant. I went there on May 9th right after my massage appointment and there is nothing that I didn't like about this restaurant. First and foremost very welcoming by the owner Rubik and his staff. 2nd let's discuss the food! Super delicious in every way. A bit salty for my taste, but I am NOT going to duck a star for that. I ordered their Margarita pizza with mushrooms and a meat ball sandwich. The sandwich was soooooo delicious and sizzling HOT that the cheese, the meat ball melted in my mouth and was so good inside that fresh, hot french roll. I also substituted the side fries with salad with ranch dressing. Even the lettuce was so fresh and good. How wrong can you go with the salad?? In the past I have tried other types of pizza, salads, sandwiches and pastas. Everything always tasted DELICIOUS, FRESH AND HOT!!! Delicious food, great customer service, nice ambiance, clean restaurant including the bathroom. Also food came out pretty quick. Love their art work on the walls and their cute bar. Super disappointed by this place. Mt friends and I have been ordering pizza and chicken tenders from this spot for years but last night was the last time. I paid almost $100 and the pizza came folded on top of each other as if they held the box sideways as they delivered it to my house. The chicken tender order was pathetic. Don't expect anything great here, it is mediocre, pasta dishes and pizza. My pepperoni was just OK, on the greasy side. Pasta-s are a tad cheaper here, pizza not so much. Parking lot, more like a neighborhood spot. But there are better options. read more
