Yes, the prices were higher, but now the service was incredibly slow (there were only 3 other tables besides us), our water was only refilled before we ordered, more bread took asking three times, our add on meatball never came but we were still charged for it, and while most of that can be excused, now the manicotti had changed for the worse; the crepe tubes were barely half filled, and what used to be covered in mozzarella cheese and baked now had a single slice of cheese on top, which you could see the outline of. As an avid tea drinker, I personally was expecting at least loose tea. We were given one hot tea pot for the table and had to constantly ask for refills until towards the end when the server gave us a second pot. It was a bit dangerous for us trying to pass one kettle around the table of four people as well. They also don't give you any iced water to drink on the side which was disappointing. In addition, no one came to clean out or change out your tea cup when you were moving on to drink the next tea. So I ended having a taste of earl grey in the chamomile tea. For the 3rd tea, I ended up dumping some of it out on my plate and wiping with my napkin. Eek! We did however, enjoy the food. They present you with a 3 tiered tray with a variety of finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries and jam/butter. We all thought the finger sandwiches, scones and desserts were delicious. The sandwich were tasty, but a bit tiny and definitely needed more filling. Overall, I may come back for the food but I was disappointed in the use of tea bags and the inattentive service.
