Even though Marco's is a national chain, it definitely ranks at the top. I recently started ordering from Marcos Pizza when I found out about their full moon special: unlimited 50% off on all menu priced pizzas on full moon days (see photo for 2026 dates). I remember having Marco's pizza sometime ago, but it had been a while so I figured why not check out this special. Their website was easy to use (you could also order on the app) and the code definitely worked. The special is for carryout or dining only but totally worth it! I got the grilled chicken florentine pizza (thin crust). Upon arrival, my pizza was ready, and the timeframe that was confirmed, the staff was friendly and pickup was easy. Although I've never dined in, the store is very clean. I will definitely be taking advantage of this deal going forward. I noticed they have some lunch special so I will probably be trying out some salads and sandwiches soon. read more

The staff here was friendly and while geared more towards takeout, the ambiance is pleasant enough. I was in and out in no time and overall, my experience was a good one. read more

I've seen their commercials before and am not a fan of chains. We were visiting from out of the area and were looking for vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly. The food was quick and reasonably priced. The pizza and Greek salad were very good. My only complaint is wrapping the salad and the only options for beverages are toxic plastic containers. Get some aluminum cans and more environmentally friendly packaging and I'll give you that 5th star. read more

I just left Marcus pizza apopka i ordered on uber eats to pickup it said was ready at 607 I have to wait into 6:14 the big problem for me was seeing the employees on the cell phones showing gums cleaning their hands on the but and touching my food with out washing their hands non one's there was this man he went outside and come back talking on his phone and touching the Parmesan bottle with not wash his hands i don't recommend this Marcus pizza location to no body read more

So I'm kinda new to this store and I've been trying it for about 2 months now and I always get a xl pizza. First time i got it i found out that they cut the slices into school pizza party sizes (12 slices instead of 8) so since then Ive always requested 8 slices like a normal pizza. At first the pizza was nice, then it was ok, and now the quality has dropped so poorly that its worse than frozen pizza unfortunately. Yesterday I decided I wanted to give them another try so i ordered a take out pizza and unfortunately my request to get 8 slices instead of 12 wasn't remembered and the employee apologized but the pizza tasted like a reheated day old pizza and when i tried to take a slice i had to literally rip it off since the pizza pie wasnt cut through properly and it gave me the sensation of tearing a cardboard paper sheet in half, the cheese even though it was warm was hard and congealed, not sure if they used any sauce since the pizza was super dry. Unfortunately this was unacceptable for me and i don't think i will be returning. Oh well time to find another pizza place. Hopefully it doesn't end up sucking... again... read more

This is my second review on Yelp of a restaurant ever. I ordered the large pizza with pepperoni, but you would think that I ordered the pepperoni magnefico as it was just completely covered with pepperoni. However, this is just a small issue. Twice I've ordered Romasan crust from this place and did not get it. Last night I did get the correct crust, but man did I get a lot of crust! Please see my picture below where I set it right next to the pizza box. I ordered a large but truly it's not a large because if there's 3 inches of crust then I'm basically ordering a small pizza with breadsticks. So disappointed with this place. This review is based off of ordering for a large work group. We ordered from marcos and needed the pizza before they were open (about 30 mins earlier). At first inquiry we were told no but we called back and the gentleman who answered the phone was great and took our order and assured they would have the pizzas ready whenever we wanted/needed them. They even delivered them to our work! The pizza itself was piping hot when it arrived in bulk and was a huge hit with everyone who had a slice. Great cheese/sauce ratio and they even cut the slices smaller per our request. I would definitely like to go there or order from there for myself! read more

Just ordered pizza on (9/19/2025) at 7:06 and arrived around 8:30 pm. The pizza was stale and tasted like cardboard box. I can't even eat this pizza because it hurts my stomach badly. I had to throw it out in the garbage. The rating should have been 0 for Quality of pizza the professionalism of the manager should be a 0 and the atmosphere should also be a 0 rating. The manager did not want to disclose his name or information when asked. But, i can tell it is a male voice. if you're unsatisfied with the purchase of your pizza you will not get a refund from this store in Apopka on Semoran blvd. The manager is extremely rude and hung up the phone on me while I tried to get a refund for this bad order. If your looking for customer service do not patronize this store. When I ordered from Pizza Hut they remade my order and gave me a credit due to there error. This slackshop wanna be pizza establishment only wants to give cheesy bread when they mess up. Because they can't not afford to take loses for cold pizza in this market. This is to tell you that pizza shops in this market like Marco pizza will not survive in this economy. I will be making my own pizza and I will not be purchasing any more pizza from Marcos pizza or encourage anyone else from purchasing from this store. Consistently good food. It's that simple. Never had a bad experience and we have used three different Marco's over the years.

The cashier at the Apopka Florida location was observed by myself handling pizza dough with no gloves on after he was handling cash, and the phone for call in orders. What's even more aggravating is the cashier didn't even wash his hands before he started handling pizza dough. There's clearly a sign from the department of health at the sink which just to the left of him at the register about the importance of washing your hands before handling food. read more

RANT Marco's pizza in Piedmont plaza: Ordered 2 large pizzas from piedmont Marcos today they had so much sauce it took 2 paper towels to clean it off, the crust was so soggy couldn't pick up a slice. Called to see if they would remake it or give a credit for future pizza order... (this is where it goes off the rails) the girl / self proclaimed manager tells me over the phone she's the one that made the pizza and no she's not giving credit or remake! Then she hung up on me.. I take the pizza back to the store for a refund at this point because I don't trust someone like that to not be nasty towards the remake. She looks at the pizza touched it and said all she's going to do for me is to throw the pizza away. I asked her why she hung up on me she said she didn't and would I like her to toss the pizza. I left my phone number for the GM or the owner to call me. We'll see what happens there. I was assured by the GM from the other Marco's Pizza in Apopka this is Not the policy for the franchise in the chain but that location is independent, however should still have a similar customer service policy. We came to their first day of soft opening. I ordered their CheezyBread which was drizzled with garlic butter and was on super soft and fluffy dough. We went with the regular crust and tried a few half and half flavors to taste a variety. I was surprised that my favorite was the BBQ Chicken Pizza. The onions were semi caramelized instead of raw crunchy potent onions. All the pizzas were fully loaded with ingredients and seemed to be high quality. Look forward to seeing how this place grows in time. Definitely coming back. read more

The pizza itself is full of flavor and is well put together. I'm starting to order from here more and more and it feels better to even know that their prices are very affordable and that they deliver. Came here for soft opening last night with no experience of what Marco's Pizza would be like. I was surprised at the quality of pizza, definitely a step above the low end chains. Variety was great here, with options including a unique spin on Hawaiian pizza (adding bacon), with the ability to split any specialty pizza in half to try multiple flavors. Flavored crust is also an option, which is always a welcome addition in my book. The space here is not huge, but still a fair amount of tables for those choosing to dine in. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They apparently don't freeze the dough, and make it fresh. The dough itself on the pizza was light and fresh, so whatever they do must work. As for additions to the place as they grow, they will be carrying wine and beer once they get out of soft opening mode. With the addition of this place to Apopka, it gives another quality option to the still somewhat limited choices we have out here. I'll plan on returning again soon. read more

Although the food may be good, their customer service is terrible. Last week I ordered an Old World Pepperoni pizza and an Italian Salad. Picked it up and brought it home only to find out they gave us a Greek salad. We called and right away they admitted they messed up. They offered to deliver us the correct salad. We didn't want the others to wait to start dinner, so they gave us a $7 or so voucher to use next time and mentioned we are in their delivery zone now and they would be happy to deliver to us. Fast forward a week or so and we call to use the voucher for an Italian salad and a pizza, only to be told they will not deliver to use unless we meet the $10 minimum. The person on the phone was not the kindest with explaining the "why" behind it when we explained our situation, so we asked for a manager. The female manager got on the phone and immediately inquired as to who we spoke to. Upon discussion it was her and she said she did not say that and recalls the situation that they messed up previously. We had no problem paying the delivery fee of $4.00 and tip, but she stated there's nothing they can do. We would need to pick it up if we wanted it. They will not deliver to us. I reiterated the situation for clarity (getting cut off many times by her) explaining that previously they were willing to deliver the salad when they made the mistake before. We did not do it that night due to not wanting everyone else to wait for me to get my salad. I even asked if she would make an "accommodation" due to the misunderstand and she said no. She mentioned she spoke to the owner right before because she "knew this was going to be a problem". I took major offense to that and she was extremely rude. I informed her they will be loosing a loyal customer and she hung up. We will no longer be giving Marcos our money and service to be treated terribly. This isn't our first unfortunate experience, but we try to be open minded to bad days or short staffing and support businesses when we can. At this point, we've suffered enough. I ordered a small cheese pizza for takeout at 11:20am on Grubhub. I was notified via email that the order was accepted by the restaurant and should be ready by 11:40. I arrived at 11:40 and was told by the manager that if I ordered from Gubhub it didn't go through their "system". This was news to me as I have ordered from their restaurant with Grubhub before and never had an issue. He told me he could make my pizza in 10 minutes and I paid him with cash. He told some kid in the back to toss it in the oven and then disappeared. While waiting for the pizza I pulled up my bank account and realized what I was starting to suspect. I had already paid for the pizza when I ordered online, so now I paid for it twice. I saw the employee cutting the pizza and when he asked if he could help me I told him that the pizza he was cutting was mine, and that I had been charged twice. He shrugged and suggested that he could make me another pizza, and then I would have two pizzas. I told him thanks, but I neither need nor want a second pizza, I just want my $12.47 back. He said we had to wait for the manager to get back and I asked "Well, where did he go?" He shrugged and started making pizzas in the back of the store. 5 minutes later I caught his attention and asked him to call the manager. I wasn't going to stand here all day. He went to the back and made a phone call, talked a few minutes to someone, came back and said he couldn't reach him. 5 minutes later the manager walks in with his takeout lunch. I tell him that I was charged twice. He put his lunch down, fumbled with the cash register, and gave me the money without saying one word. No eye contact. Nothing. He started playing with the register again and I asked "can I have my pizza?" He picked it up and put it on the counter. Without a word. So one full hour after ordering, I left Marcos (for the last time) with a cold pizza and some words on the tip of my tongue that I still don't know how I managed to suppress. Easily the very best Pizza here in town. Ingredients are FRESHHHH, and they also have green olives (which, yes, smart alecks, I know are not "fresh"). Staff is super friendly, accurate with orders, and the store is kept in tip top shape: work areas are clean, restrooms are clean, and the dining area is clean!
