Marco's was in business making fantastic pizzas and other items on the menu during Hurricane Florence. They were just overwhelmed with business but never lost their cool, always polite and delivered a great product in the restaurant itself. So I've come to this Marcos before and I've had no complaints. This visit was the best so far though. When I called for carry out, the gentleman ( Brandon ) that answered the phone sounded very warm and was prompt in taking my order. It was such a nice change from the usual monotone voice going through the motions! He was very engaging and efficient at the same time. The pizza is very good as usual. After Sonic nearby made us wait for 20 minutes without helping us, we stopped at Marco's Pizza. The staff was courteous, friendly, and ready to make our pizza. When I was recently out of town, my bf ordered delivery and hasn't stopped talking about how good Marco's was. It's delivery pizza, dude, really? So this past Friday night right when the storms were hitting the lowcountry, I decided it would be a great time to order delivery to find out what the new obsession was all about (hindsight is 20/20 right?) Plus, we had a $3 coupon from the prior pizza. We easily ordered online and were able to customize the pizza since there were a few toppings he didn't want and I did. We also added an extra garlic sauce side. Once you submit your order, a page pops up that allows you to track your order's progress. It also gave an approximate delivery time, which was right at an hour. I checked the website several times and while it did update the progress, it seemed to have gotten stuck around the halfway done mark. Once our hour mark had hit and the pizza hadn't arrived, we gave Marco's a call. We weren't calling to complain, but really just to check that they had the order because we placed it online. We were assured the pizza was being walked to the car right then. It did show up less than 10 minutes later. I was a bit disappointed because the temperature was just barely warm, but at this point we were starving and it didn't matter. Even though it wasn't piping hot, the pizza was so good! You can tell the ingredients are very fresh. The crust is thin, which I'm not usually partial to (I'm a crust dipper), but I was into what Marco's tossed. The next day, we received an unprompted phone call/voicemail from Marco's apologizing for the delay and offering a discount off our next order (and we got another $3 coupon again). That's fantastic customer service! We will hands down use Marco's for our pizza delivery needs. UPDATE - we have since ordered delivery a second time. We called to order and they had our discount from the delayed delivery already on our account. The was very good! Marco's will be our only delivery service pizza from now on! read more

This rating is for DAMN good Customer service! Mark is a fantastic manager. We ordered pizza that took over an hour to arrive. When the delivery guy came to my door, he was visibly shook up, as a previous customer had been exceedingly rude to him. I gave him a larger tip than usual, to brighten his evening. I ordered from them for the first time in Sunday and everything was delicious! I had the garden pizza and cheesy bread sticks. I ordered online and received a call when my driver was on her way. Apparently my delivery took longer than they would have liked and today I received a phone call from a manager that apologized and gave me a store credit! I moved here around the beginning of the year and since then have probably ordered from Marco's 10 times. I've ordered when it's been just me, a couple people, and when I've had a bunch of family over. Not once has this location let us down, not only is delivery timely, the pizzas are always so delicious. This place beats the pants off Dominos/Pizza Hut/papa Johns. Overpriced and under delivered. Cost almost $29 for me to get two medium pizzas for carry out. I ordered a cheese pizza and a veggie pizza.
