We have been coming to Renna's on and off for +20 years! Tonight we ordered two Caesar salads, a large pizza with two topping and a pitcher of beer, with tip $50 to eat in. The salad came out and to be honest...very disappointing, very yellow lettuce but crunchy croutons; maybe no body orders salads?!? The pizza came out and it was 8 slices; the crust was good but the toppings were sparse and on one maybe not at all?!? This used to be my favorite pizza place, not anymore! I ordered one slice of pizza with 3 topping for $3.49. The cashier charged me over $5.50. I asked her why she charged me so much. The menu clearly states "one slice of cheese pizza....add up to 3 toppings to make it your perfect slice". She gave a bogus answer that didn't make sense! What a shame. I ordered sausage, green pepper and onion. The green pepper was completely raw and the pizza was barely warm. I ordered the pizza while I was there and waited for it, so hadn't been sitting around. Even though I've been in the neighborhood for a while now and in this plaza multiple times over the years, I had never tried the pizza from Renna's. It is with great sadness that I write this review, especially since I've given glowing reviews (on multiple local food review sites) previously. Everything has changed and it went completely downhill. Can only give 1 star because less is not an option. Pizza was always our family's favorite around town, but no longer. I know there are multiple locations around town - so hopefully the others haven't changed their pizza as well - but all other locations are even further away. Still great as I remember from 10 years ago. We came and ordered in and our pizzas were great. A bit of a wait but a nice quiet chill atmosphere. We grabbed a couple of pizzas tonight and Renna's never disappoints. We always get a cheese and our second pizza chosen was their meat lovers. They don't skimp on toppings and this particular pie also comes with extra cheese. Nice NY crust and flavorful sauce. If there was one critique it's that the ample toppings made the pizza a little on the salty side. Would we get this pizza again, definitely yes, but we may leave the bacon or ham off just to reduce some of the sodium. I was craving pizza after donating blood and decided to check out this cute spot. I got the two slice and drink special. The food came out fast and was not overly greasy or too big to eat by myself. I think the sauce could use a little more seasoning but other than that it was good. I want to try some of the other menu options next time I am here The restaurant and bathroom are extremely clean. This is the second renna's pizza that I went to, with the same punishment that I get. Whenever you order pepperoni and a regular slice, the pep slice is smaller than the cheese slice. Also why do they ring you up get your sodas give you everything before they even start to warm up the pizza? They should be warming up the pizza first. Then assisting you with ringing you up and everything so you don't have to wait. Very unefficient, this is another management issue. read more
