I would advise against eating here. They have rude managers that care nothing about the customer. I had a Snagmob coupon and when I went in they tried to charge me more than I was told over the phone . When I refused to pay the extra they threw the 2 pizzas away over $3 and expected me to wait 20 more minutes. Whomever is the owner and general manager should investigate this because that is terrible customer service and complete wastefulness. When your on duty manager has an attitude like that the business will eventually suffer. I evaluate businesses all over the country so this is not an uneducated opinion. Nothing worse than incompetence when it comes to food service. Went to Marcos for a pizza. They said 20 minutes. Went back in approx 40, and they said 5-6 more. Went back in 10 only to find they hadn't even started making it. Running around trying to figure out which way was up. Poorly ran businesses are what is killing the Jackson restaurant scene. Solid pizza. Ingredients taste fresh, and you can taste something other than cheese and salt. I was staying in a hotel and the delivery guy brought plates, napkins, and Parmesan cheese. Delivery was within about 5 minutes of their estimate. Get the Parmesan crust, it's pretty damn good. read more

The pizza was really good the first time and second time, not so much. Now that is out of the way, be prepared to spend some money. I had a medium supreme pizza delivered 2.8 miles away and it cost $19.76. I cannot fathom how much a large would of cost. I spend 2-8 weeks in Jackson annually. Started eating at Marco's about 2 years ago. It was quite good. I have to agree with current reviews and say that is isn't good any more. Ordered a pizza, wings, and salad. The salad was the ONLY edible item. The pizza tasted like something I cannot describe, but not good, and the wings were apparently made from some sort of industrial waste plastic. No more Marco's for me. Sad. read more

Several weeks ago my wife and I decided to try Marco's. We went in and it really wasn't looking good. Walk up to the counter order, pay up front and find a place to sit. Paper plates, plastic knives, and forks, serve yourself drinks, fast food all the way. Our order arrived after about 10 minutes. THE best pizza we've had lately. The crust was crisp as ordered, and the selected toppings were plentiful and tasty. We have been back since and our subsequent pizzas were just as good. Did I mention fair prices. You get your money's worth. I wouldn't go there expecting Italian ambience, but if your looking for a good pizza, this is the place. I've seen Marco's all over the States and their advertising always looked like stellar pizza, frankly I'm disappointed in myself it took me this long to give this pizza franchise a shot. On one of my multi-state journeys putting in an absurd amount of windshield time, I browsed for nearby restaurants and was pleased to see this establishment along a stretch of I-40 where there's not a lot of choices least or west of here. I called in my order when I was about 30 minutes down the road (think "train traveling at 70 mph, what time will it reach the station?" Algebra question - I was excited I did the math correctly) and my pizza was ready in ample time for me to continue my journey down the road. The pizza itself, I went with my tried-and-true favorite, pepperoni and black olives, was superb. Perfectly melted cheese, a precise amount of sauce to my liking (a little on the lighter side) and more than enough toppings gave me a sense of value that I'd definitely return here again. read more

My family and I order from Marco's very often. I was just delivered my pizza from a very rude delivery man. He sat in my driveway for five minutes, arguing on the phone with another person. When he acknowledged me, I had been waiting for a good amount of time. I felt pressured to leave a tip but wasn't given enough time to do the math. I love their crust! Crispy and you can get it flavored. I love that they don't overwhelm the pizza with sauce and the cheese is always melty and perfect. Ingredients are always fresh (thick chopped veggies and nice sized meat portions). Service is fast and Friendly. They have an area where you can eat in at the restaurant if you want. I've used Marco's for abou 3-4 yrs now. Every order was perfect except 2. The delivery guy got lost once & pizza was barely warm - they offered to send more but I declined. The 2nd mistake was from the person that took the verbal order (I normally order on-line & have no problems). There were 4 of us, 1 pizza, 2 subs & a salad. The pizza was to have hot peppers on the side & we got jalapeno salad dressing, the ingredients on the subs were wrong but the right meat, the salad was OK. Out of numerous orders this is the only times I've had a problem that was Marco's mistake, I have ordered trying like feta cheese (ugh!), light sauce (no need as they don't put a glob of sauce that overpowers the rest of the pizza), etc...these were my mistakes, but they came as what I ordered. If the pizza is not HOT it's OK with me, but not if it's cold. I have (in the past) used various pizza places (Papa Johns comes close) & have never had a good pizza like I get at Marco's. read more
