Ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza...had mushrooms dumped on at the end that were cold
    Amanda S.

Tried this place last week and while the food wasn't bad, the order and presentation was. I ordered a deal they had for 2 large pizza and 15 wings. On one pizza I added mushrooms. I was dissatisfied with the fact that they threw these cold mushrooms on at the end. And I know they were thrown on at the end because when picking up a slice, they all fell off.

This is a great place for good quality Pizza it's a little bit expensive side but it's still very very good. I would recommend you give it a try and you come up with your own op

First time trying this new-ish pizza place. It's been there for a couple months but first time getting around to it. At first glance driving up it didn't look busy which was nice. When we went inside though, it wasn't busy, but it had a small seating area. There were three 6-8 person booths and one four person booth. There was also one two person table along with four stools at a "bar top" near the door, best suited for people waiting for a pick up order. On to the menu, it was average price for an eat in pizza joint, comparable to Pizza Hut. Pay by the size and the number of toppings. They had a special, large 2 topping for 12.99, so we did the extra thin crust with pepperonis and mushrooms, and the garlic cheese bread. Took a minute to get a table, but we waited at the bar top until a 6-8 person booth came available. I had to bus the table because everyone working there was busy. For all the tables being packed, people at the tables were also waiting for their food. They were completing a lot of pizzas and calling out names, but it seemed they were all to go orders that weren't there yet. For as busy as they were our pizza came out faster than I thought it would. They didn't have any plates but I was able to get paper plates. Pizza tasted great! Crispy and fresh! Other than the lack of front of house service as far as busing and cleaning, it was an enjoyable experience. If it weren't for me having to bus and clean my own table, I would've given it 5 stars.

I was very impressed with Marcos pizza. We had received some mail coupons and decided to try them. I am glad we did. We ordered the extra large with pepperoni and mushroom. What I really liked was that they cut the pieces into 20 small pieces instead of the large slices. This way I could eat and not leave some behind if I became full. The tomate sauce was very good and they did not skim on the pepperoni and mushrooms! It was loaded !! The cheezybread was amazing. It just the right mixture of butter, garlic and cheese. It comes with some extra tomato sauce and ranch dressing but it doesn't need it. We had it delivered and the driver was very courteous and friendly. The price is not bad. Our pockets and stomachs were very happy. I highly recommend them.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I ordered 2 pizzas and the xl was burnt. I called with the intentions of a remake but instead ended up with a manager who insisted on being right. My complaint wasn't personal. A quick fix to a possible mistake! It happens in restaurants. She continued to try to get me off of the phone after I asked for just a refund. I wanted to speak to a general manager or someone above her and was notified that there was only a owner! Ask for that info and was told she would pass my info along. On another note.. pizza is good when done right...

Probably the best pizza I've had since moving to Texas. I would be going again and the wait time wasn't all that bad either.

The first night I was greeted by a friendly host and sat at the bar, where Billy took great care of me. He recommended the Cotto e Salsiccia, and I'm so glad he did. It was easily one of the best pizzas I've had. While I was there, the cheesemaker let me try a bite of the fresh mozzarella they were making in-house. It was still warm and absolutely delicious. The next night I was feeling a little homesick after being away for work, and all I could think about was that pizza. I walked back in and the host greeted me by name. I sat at the bar again, where another bartender remembered me from the night before, and Billy came over just to say hi. It seems like such a small thing, but when you're traveling alone, being welcomed back like that can completely change your evening. What really impressed me was seeing that it wasn't just me. The guy next to me ordered two pizzas to go, and when the chef brought them out he smiled and said, "Oh, Jose! I thought this order looked familiar!" You can tell they actually know their regulars and genuinely enjoy what they do. The second night I ordered the Fontina e Salsiccia, and somehow it was just as good as the first pizza. Everything is cooked in the wood-fired oven--even the wings--and you can taste the difference. The crust has that perfect char, the ingredients are fresh, and it's the kind of authentic Neapolitan pizza that keeps you thinking about it long after you've left. I've eaten at a lot of good restaurants while traveling, but very few have made me feel as welcome as Dough did. Great food is one thing. Great people are what made me come back the very next day. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

When I asked why they have a hot plate shelf next to the entrance and that I burned my arm on it, the manager and greeter state? There is a sign! They took no responsibility for the ill placement of the sign! As you walk in, we saw several People back into the shelf to allow others to get buy! I can see a child burning their hand terribly on this! What did the restaurant do? Nothing... several times we suggested something be done and not until the manager realized that yes, this is a problem did he do something remotely responsible. I couldn't enjoy the food! I was upset? Hurting and taken back by the terrible way they handled the situation. For reference, I'll show you the picture with the barrier.

Every dish feels thoughtfully curated with tried-and-true recipes rooted in Chef Luca and his family's Northern Italian traditions. This is the kind of place where quality takes priority over quantity. Our server, Gary, was fantastic. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about Italian food and wine. His recommendations were spot-on and his enthusiasm felt so genuine. We started with a bread basket accompanied by a little sampling of tapenade, which was savory, briny, and a perfect complement to the warm bread. Came in with a group of four, we kicked things off with the burrata starter--a surprisingly fun and shareable adventure of baked burrata, fresh crostini, roasted cauliflower, asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, and basil cream. There was a lot happening on the plate, but it all worked beautifully together. For our entrées, we ordered the Tartufo, Cinghiale, Bolognese, and Carbonara. And let me just say, the Tartufo was a full-on dinner performance. Gary brought out steaming hot tagliatelle pasta and tossed it tableside inside a giant wheel of Parmesan. He then topped it with crab meat in brown butter before finishing it with a generous shaving of truffle. Every bite was like a perfectly timed symphony of flavors--rich, savory, buttery, and earthy, with nothing outshining the other. I'd put this dish up against anyone's nonna. I sampled the other three entrées as well, and every one was delicious. The gnocchi in the Cinghiale is an absolute must-try--pillowy, texturally delightful, and packed with flavor. Thank you, Nonna Osteria, for such an epic culinary experience. And a special shoutout to Gary for guiding us through the menu and making an already great dinner even better.
