So with a little investigative work (shoutout to my baby girl), turns out some no good rotten jabroni hacked my account and claimed my free pizza! I got my food about an hour ago. I cannot stop throwing up. I'm pretty sure something was bad on the pizza given I only ate 2 pieces because I tasted super sour. I thought it was the cheese they had put on at first but then i remembered cheese isn't sour when you cook it. and they had fruit flies flying all over the place by the drinks. read more

Came here the other day because I really like the pizza, and I had a great experience with the staff. But unfortunately, the pizza I got was completely burnt. I got a pizza and salad and the pizza here was good, the staff was friendly however the salad was bad enough to ruin a good review. I had gotten a Cesar side salad and it just taste like chemicals, it was almost the taste of stuff when u bring home lettuce from the store and don't wash it. On top of this I had found about 5 piece of just slimy/brown lettuce. Between the lettuce that looked like it hadn't been changed out of the salad bar in over 2 weeks, and the taste of it just being bitter/chemically I had to toss it. This MOD Pizza is far better than the other one here in SA, the staff is friendlier, I like that the you lady who makes the pizza changes her gloves every time she makes someone's pizza and if she has to get something from the back she is careful to wash her hands and put on new gloves to finish your order. The gentleman there I assume, don't know for sure, may be the owner. But he is such a nice person, he speaks to people as they come in and when the crowd picked up he assures everyone that they will be right with them. The food is good and doesn't taste old. I recommend this MOD Pizza if you have to go to one. There is one closer to my home but the staff is not very friendly. I've read an article that a MOD Pizza will open at Brooks City Base soon. Date isn't available for now but I decided to give this place a shot since I've read lots of rave reviews. I ordered a Greek salad and a large pepperoni. Mod reminds me a little bit of 1000 Degrees on Huebner since you go down the line and order your pizza. There's no limit to the amount of toppings you order but I decided to keep it basic and simple. When the guy asked me what I want, I replied "pepperoni and cheese" similar to the man from the Tombstone commercial but minus the accent. The Greek salad was good with the Greek dressing that I had asked for on the side. Minutes later my pizza was ready for pickup. I had brought it to my table which was wobbling a lot. It's a miracle nothing fell to the floor. I liked the crust because it wasn't too thick or thin. I wish the pizza had a little more sauce and was cut better. I had to pull the slices apart. I had wanted dessert so I ordered a Key Lime No Name cake, which kinda reminded me of a Ding Dong. It was good. Altogether, the experience was okay and the servers were cool. I was greeted immediately and my order was stated right away. You can custom build whatever pizza you like here and there's no additional charge for topping choices. First time at MOD Pizza. It was recommended by a friend. It was raining at the time we went so it was not busy at all. When you go up to order they have the menu posted up on the wall. You can choose your pizza of choice and size. You can also create your own and choose any toppings. I ordered the "Jasper" pizza which has sausage and mushrooms in the mini 6 in. That was just enough for me. It's four medium sized slices. I payed about $9 for the pizza and a drink. They have salads as well and garlic bread/cinnamon sticks. Fountain sodas/teas for drinks as well as milkshakes. All the staff were friendly from the guy who prepped the pizza, to the one at the register and the girl who provided the order when ready. I only had thirty minutes on break but the pizza was cooked within 10 minutes and was presented very well. The sauces amplified the flavors very well. I commend especially the service of one worker, Caesar, who made the experience very memorable. If you go be sure to use a lot of cheeses to achieve maximum pizzaness. Also spice it up and dont be afraid of the sauces and dressings! The only complaint I had was the ultra thin crust that made it more like a glorified cracker. Second time coming here and I absolutely love it! So glad I have one close to my house. I ordered the smallest pizza they have (don't remember how many inches) with pesto instead of marinara, chicken, bacon, pepperoni, sausage, and spinach! This place was rather busy for a Friday night, but the employees did a good job at making sure all the guest were taken care of. They have a small variety of alcohol beverages to choose from as long with different sodas. The menu lays out a wide variety of options to choose from. Been here many times before and typically have had great service. Today, decided to order online to make it easier to pick up on my way running errands. Ordered & paid online for 1-cauliflower crust mod pizza & drink. Order placed at 7:34p, promised for 7:49. Perfect, I also had to pick up a separate online order shortly after & nearby so it seemed like it would work out perfectly. Wrong! Arrived at 7:55pm, (after promised time), gave my name & was told it was "still in oven". I waited, was provided my cup for the drink, filled it & waited. One stack of 4 pizzas, name called & those were picked up, shortly after, another stack of 2, name called, also picked up, then after about 6 minutes, the uncooked/prepared pizzas on the rack were put in...(one was mine!) it had Not been in the oven, and so I waited as the staff person continued to put, pizza after pizza inside the oven, at least 7! He tended to each one & mine was the first out. One would think, at that point, he would have stopped what he was doing or asked another staff person to cut my pizza and give it to me since I had been waiting, but NO...he continued to tend to those in the oven, as mine sat on the counter in an open box... he said "I have a lot of pizzas in here, I'll get it in just a second." As it continued to get colder. Finally he began pulling one pizza, then another, and another, and another, and another, until finally he was able to get to mine & cut it...only to close it & proceed to move it to the pickup section before he realized it was mine. What a terrible experience. While I waited another woman, picking up from uber was also there, waiting, as the lobby and line began to grow. There should be a better system in place so that someone can cut and manage the pizzas coming out from the oven, and managing the pickup orders, so customers don't have to wait as theirs gets cold. They were fairly busy but didn't have to wait too long and all the employees were very friendly. Not good. Pizza came out doughy even though I had very little toppings and I asked for extra crispy. The flavor was not even close to MOD pizza I get near my house in Houston.
