Cold, no pizza bag, late, last guy dropped it in the center of my driveway. Didn't even knock. Call to find out what's going on. Both people I talked to (different times) just shrugged their shoulders and blamed DoorDash. Marcos is always a great choice for pizza! My family prefers the Philly cheesesteak pizza over anything. The pepperoni magnifico is yummy too, but a tad on the greasy and salty side ( which is expected because of the pepperonis). I recommend using the app, you earn points fast and get a lot of good deals. I am visiting South Jordan and stopped by Marco's at 5414 W Daybreak to place a walk in order. The lobby was a mob scene with Door Dash drivers and customers waiting for their pizzas. There was no order at the front counter and everyone was impatiently wanting their pizzas. One employee was running around trying to appease the Door Dash drivers while everyone in the lobby waited patiently. The person that eventually took my order had just come off a delivery and was asked by another employee to take my order some 15 minutes after I got there. This gentleman was chewing tobacco and kept spitting his chew in a clear plastic cup right in front of me. This was disgusting!!! After placing my order he told me it would be an hour and five minutes before the pizza was done. I sat in my car for another 25 minutes and thought I would check the status of my order. When I walked back in the order was already done and sitting under the warmer. The owner of this store needs to reprimand the employee who took my order. I will never revisit this location again. Messed up my order. Normally I love coming to this Marcos but they messed up the cheesy bread, it had no garlic sauce on it or Parmesan cheese. I ordered everything correctly and even double checked after I realized it was wrong. A similar thing happened to my pizza, I added Roma crust, garlic sauce crust, and Parmesan cheese crust. I mean yall won't even believe this But in the evening we order a pizza, and choose to pay in cash at the door. 40 minutes later, we hear loud knocks on the door & take about 10 seconds to grab cash and get to the door - we'll we open it and no one is there waiting with the pizza to take our cash- we go out to try and call them back but they're gone we assume that it's honestly on the driver for that and enjoy our pizza. WELL night rolls around, whole family is in bed - and we hear literally SLAMMING on the door - continued for a couple times :) let's just say we had to call Marcos for them to wrangle in their driver AND we were expected to pay over the phone. Several years ago, a guy I worked with ordered pizza for the office. I didn't get the message until a few hours too late, so I got a cold piece. Even though it wasn't fresh by then, it was GOOD. Fast forward a few years, I get another chance because that place that had delivered the yummy pizza to my work opened up a location near my home. I placed my order online-which was not difficult. I love when a website, especially food, makes the ordering process easy. To satisfy the varied tastes in our household, I did a custom pizza-half with no cheese and mushrooms, pepperoni & sausage on all. I've gotten used to places getting my orders wrong, and have learned to pick off the stuff I don't want. But these guys Got. It. Right. Praises sang to the heavens! The whole way home (I chose carry-out to get a chance to leave the house), the smell of the pizza was delectable. Once home, we ripped open the lid and dug in; we were so fast I didn't get a picture of the full, in-tact pizza. Audible "oohs" and "ahhs" could be heard all around our dining room. The pizza was delicious. The sausage chunks were large and flavorful and the mushrooms (which I got all to myself) were oh so tasty. To say that I'm pleased would be an understatement. If I ever get to meet Marco himself (I know, probably not a real dude, but let me dream) I would be honored to shake his hand and break crust with him. read more

We placed an order for a pizza, wings and brownies last night around 6pm MST. My husband started the order on the Marco's website but somehow the order was processed through Grubhub which is odd since we do not have a Grubhub account, and he had my sign in for the Marco's website. But putting that bit of information aside for the time being, the quality and service we received from Marco's was unacceptable and subpar. We lived in Utah before and used to regularly get pizza from the West Jordan location and loved it. So much so that when we lived in SC although the closest Marco's was 40 minutes from us when we would go to town for errands, we would usually get a pizza from Marco's. We recently moved back to Utah and since I am down with the flu my husband decided to order pizza, wings and brownies for dinner as a treat. Unfortunately, although he ordered thin crust the pizza was far from thin crust. The crust was also doughy and not cooked all of the way through. The pizza was also cold and soggy. Even the simplest request of our order, which was to cut the pizza into squares, was not accommodated. The wings were cold and unappetizing as well. And to cap it off the brownies we paid for were not delivered. We specifically requested a CONTACT delivery as no contact usually means the driver will dump and run. Well, the food was delivered but no knock on the door, ring of the bell or anything to alert us it had arrived. The only reason we knew it was here was because the delivery persons car was loud, and our dogs alerted us that someone was at the door. The order was promptly brough in, so it wasn't cold from sitting out, it was cold from the store. We called the store and were initially told they would either refund or remake the order but were then placed on hold. When the employee came back to the phone, she told my husband that her manager said there was nothing to do, and they weren't responsible since the order was placed through Grubhub. Not only was this completely unacceptable but it has guaranteed that we will never be getting pizza from Marco's again. To use it's not our fault the product was inferior and disgusting and that you didn't receive items you paid for because of how the order was placed online is insulting and insufficient. Grubhub didn't make the cold, soggy, uncooked pizza, nor did they supply the cold and unappetizing wings. I can't speak to if the delivery person was or wasn't given the brownies or if they kept them for themselves because that is a mystery, and no one wants to own up to any of this situation. Grubhub refuses to refund or supply a new pizza and Marco's refuses to refund or supply a new pizza, wings or brownies that were never received. How anyone can think this is acceptable or proper service is beyond me. So, the pizza went into the trash, the wings are sitting in the refrigerator because my husband isn't willing to toss them and is going to try to air fry them in our oven and we are out money on brownies we didn't receive. Everyone went to bed without having dinner last night all thanks to inferior product and service. Overall, the entire transaction was a failure and a disappointment. And Marco's has lost a long-term customer over this situation. So, I certainly hope it was worth it to the manager on duty last night to give us the middle finger. Perhaps that manager is why the order was inferior, and products were not delivered. read more

I've ordered Marcos's Pizza 4 times for delivery from the Herriman location. 1st time pizza was cold and had wrong ingredients, 2nd, 3rd and 4th time was cold and looked old. I called and spoke to the manager on 2 different occasions. They didn't really care. I decided I would never eat Marco's Pizza again and unsubscribed from emails. It's worked for a few months but now I'm getting emails again and can't unsubscribe. So now every time I get an new email I'm going to write another 1 star review. Where do I begin. . . I LOVE Marco's Pizza if I'm being honest but I have an even bigger issue with the staff. With that being said, I came in one time (this is the location I only go to) sadly this last time I came in will unfortunately be the last. During my last visit I placed 3 medium pepperoni pizzas because I was having a party. I placed the order 1 hr in advanced as they said they would have it ready. When the time came for me to pick up, I walked in saying the order name was J****. The younger two gentlemen (who looked like they were 15) they went to go look and handed me a different J**** order. Turns out we had the same name as someone else. Because we had the same name, my order had been given to another person. Sadly it does not end there. As I'm waiting for them to remake my pizza (an additional 20min) the gentleman they had given my pizzas to had come back to the store to give back the pizza that was not his (1box. He kept the others). So the young kids in the front said " Oh thanks for bringing it back!" So the young kids who are still working the front registers look at me and HAND ME THE BOX THE GUY JUST RETURNED!!!! SO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THIS!! Why would he hand me a box that just came from another house! Who knows if they had touched it, spit in it, if they are sick, SO MANY FREAKING THINGS! Other customers in the store waiting for their pizzas (9 other people) looked SHOCKED AND APPALLED that he would even offer me a box that just came back from another home! Not worth the 2+ hour wait! We've been a customer for almost 4 years. Live across the highway from them. Closest pizza place to our home. Value with specials is very good. Overall taste and quality good to very good. Why 2 stars? I have never had a pizza place tell me it is a 2 hour wait for pickup and 2.5 hours for delivery until now. The last 3 times I have called them - usually around 6 pm I hear that sad story - not enough help - 2 hours+ They have gone from 10-20 minute orders to now a wait time that has lost me as a customer. We've been ordering from Marcos for YEARS. Unfortunately, the South Jordan (Daybreak) location has gone severely downhill. There's zero consistency in how they make their pizza. Thye clearly don't read the order details. I ALWAYS ask for thin crust in triangle cuts, well done, and less cheese. I now ALWAYS get square cut or cross cut (which I hate), cold, soggy pizza with a pound of cheese. It's awful and so sad, but we decided tonight that this will be the last time we order from Marcos. Marcos pizza is delicious, our first call when we want good pizza. Our go-to is the thin crust pepperoni magnifico, which is always delightful because it has these AMAZING little tiny pepperonis that get so crispy and delicious! But this review is mainly for the service at the Daybreak location. The delivery is wicked fast! We were told 40-45 minutes, fairly typical for a Friday night, but our pizza came in closer to 15-20 minutes! We have never had to wait more than 20 minutes for pizza to be delivered from this location. Super impressed and super happy with this location. Update February 2019: I had to take a star away, for their carry out service. Both times I have ordered carry out, my order has been lost or forgotten, meaning that I've come to pick up pizza at the assigned time and had to wait an additional 15-30 minutes to get my order. The most recent time, they did offer a free brownie with my meal, which was appreciated and very professional. But seriously, don't order carry out. Just get delivery and you will be a happy camper. read more
