The charcoal-grilled chicken skewers were super dry and overcooked. The vegetables weren't all that fresh. The customer service was okay for a Tuesday evening dinner. There were flies buzzing around inside the restaurant. The interior needs some renovating.

My boyfriend and I were both craving Mexican for dinner. I've been to the location in Hicksville, so I knew what to expect at this location. Chips and salsa to start. I didn't want to fill up on this so I didn't have any. My boyfriend enjoyed though. For drinks I got a coconut margarita and he got the house margarita. Both tasty! For an appetizer we got queso fundido. Absolutely delicious! Definitely fixed my craving for ooey gooey melted cheese. I enjoyed the chorizo pieces also! For my entree I got shrimp tacos. It was good, but the shrimp was diced up quiet small. Not really sure how many "full sized" shrimp the diced up pieces would be equal to. It came with rice and beans. Overall it was tasty, but I would have preferred full sized shrimp. My boyfriend got arroz con pollo. He enjoyed it and it remained super hot the entire time. Even on the car ride home his leftovers remained super hot. It also came with a side of refried beans. Our waitress never really came back. Someone else brought our appetizer and someone else brought our entrees. She never came back to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything until the last few minutes of the meal. Food was good, but service needs improvement.

If you're looking for a fun place to enjoy some amazing mexican food and margs, this is the place to go! Margaritas cafe has everything you could want in a mexican restaurant experience. The chips and salsa - 10/10. Their margaritas - 10/10. The VIBE - 10/10. I can't see myself going anywhere else for mexican food after one evening spent at Margaritas. I've gone a few times now, and the service has always been great. Even when the restaurant is packed and you have the mariachi band playing loudly, your needs will never go unmet. The manager is very friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to come back!!!

They messed up all meals and no refund. Never come back again. I ordered takeout for Chimichanga with chicken, Nachos with ground beef and tacos with chicken. Nothing came correctly. We got chimichanga with beef, Nachos with no meat and tacos with beef..... We called but they of course insisted they made correctly. They said I can cancel though Uber eat, but we couldn't. It was overcharged for Nachos and I was very disappointed. This was not acceptable.

Popped in for dinner for lunch and we loved it all. Excellent service, extensive food & cocktail menu plus a very nice themed dining area. Started off with the slightly sweet shrimp ceviche served in a perfectly crunchy taco shell with the right chew, crunch & texture. The shrimp ceviche was prefect and delicious, served with slices of avocado, side of plantain chips and chopped tomatoes and onions. We devoured it! My burrito mojado had chewy chunks of perfect medium rare skirt steak, covered in green tomatillo sauce, melted Mexican cheese, crema & guacamole. This was good through every bite. My Sous chef has the Tacos de Puero, pork tacos in soft tortilla that was caramelized chunks of delicious meat. Both plates had the best side of refried beans and Mexican rice that we have had in a long time, the beans had chunks of whole beans and a depth of flavor. bonus was both plates came out piping hot! Can't wait to go back again

I had an early dinner here this morning. I am so glad we came here! The paella here is very delicious. The scallops, shrimp, lobster, clams, and mussels were so fresh! They make the guacamole right in front of you. The sweet plantains were soft, sweet and not very oily. They came with a dipping sauce - I think it was a sour cream. It was first time I was ever given a dipping sauce with sweet plantains. It was something different I really enjoyed. The service here is so courteous and phenomenal. Our waitress was so warm and personable. They also had a live mariachi band! We were personally asked if we had a specific song we wanted to request. It was lovely to have someone come over to our table. The coffee here is very good and the tres leches was delicious. Bathrooms were very clean (I respect this a lot) and the decor is colorful and upbeat. *****BRING A DESIGNATED DRIVER: this is the place to go and have cocktails. They have excellent happy hour and drink specials.

My wife and I had a blast. The vibe was amazing and the drinks were awesome. My food was excellent and the staff was super friendly. I especially had an excellent evening thanks to the courtesy of one of their waiters, Alex; he made the evening super! Half the "battle" when it comes to restaurants is the service and this place has got it. I'll be checking out their port Jeff location too since they have more than one establishment. But, one way or the other, I'll be coming back again!

my mom always wants to go here for her birthday every year. the staff is attentive and hard working. the food is always delicious. a few times i've left and my stomach doesn't feel right but i can't figure out why that is. it's just me honestly. but my parents enjoy the food and the sangria and that's all that matters. dessert is always good. flan and fried ice cream are our favorite.

This place isn't trying for polished restaurant experience, and honestly, that's kinda part of its charm. It feels like the kind of spot where the bar comes first and the kitchen supports it if this makes sense. The atmosphere is a neighborhood hangout feel. You can tell it's a local spot--people walking in were greeted by name, and there's a familiar, lived-in vibe that makes it feel welcoming if you're a regular, and easy enough to settle into if you're not. Food-wise, the corned beef on both the Gaiety and the Finnegan's Wake sandwiches stood out--tender, flavorful, and generous. Both sandwiches came with fries, and while I appreciate skin-on fries, these leaned a bit soggy rather than crispy. Overall, this is a solid spot if you go in with the right expectations. It's less of a destination restaurant and more of a go-to pub where you can grab a drink, and enjoy pub food. If you're looking for a lively, casual bar with good portions and a strong local following, it delivers--even if not everything on the plate is perfect. I think I'd like to make an update review after trying a few more dishes. At a glance, 3.5 with overall good experience.

As expected, it was a casual pub style spot with a bar and a small dining area in the back. For this Friday afternoon, it was quite busy. It was bustling with almost all the tables taken by the time we left. Our server was friendly and upbeat. She offered suggestions based on our preferences. We both ordered the same thing - burgers. They came out quickly. The burgers were big and yummy. They satisfied our craving perfectly.

I've been here on numerous occasions hoping that maybe this would finally be the visit where everything clicked. Unfortunately, it just hasn't happened. My experiences have been so-so, and more often than not they've been slightly disappointing. My biggest complaint has always been the food. My take has been it's been bland or uninspired. The French onion soup was just ok, and seemed like no effort putting this together. No provolone cheese option when I've ordered which is crazy. The Caesar salad tasted diluted, with lettuce that seemed waterlogged rather than crisp and fresh. Just overall underwhelming. The food is not necessarily terrible, but just mediocre and forgettable. Portion size is another problem. For what you're paying, the plates often feel surprisingly small. One example of this was the "Big C Burger," which was honestly a huge letdown. With a name like that you'd expect something substantial. Instead, the burger was tiny--maybe 4-5 ounces at most. At first glance you could barely even see the meat because the bun swallowed it. I ordered it medium and it came out completely overcooked, cooked to death really. The bun didn't help either--dense, dry, and overpowering the already small patty. The whole thing just felt poorly executed. Even the little details were off. I asked for olive oil on the side for a salad and what came out was clearly some generic vegetable oil. It felt like a lazy substitution, the kind of thing that makes you question how much care is going into the kitchen overall. To be fair, the one thing Faraday's consistently gets right is the atmosphere. The restaurant is has a cozy charming space with a warm pub feel. The indoor dining area although small has character and a comfortable vibe. The outdoor area is really nice too, and perfect for setting for a nice meal on a comfortable day. Service is good. I've not had any issues with any servers ever being inattentive. Occasionally some order mixups but quickly rectified. Unfortunately, that inviting setting hasn't translated to memorable meals. After several attempts over the years, Faraday's has remained one of those places that seems like it should be good--but for me, it just never quite hits.

Between the warm, cozy atmosphere and a live band playing, it felt festive without being chaotic. It's exactly what you want during the holidays. We went full "let's share everything" mode, starting with the Wood-Fired Artichoke-Spinach Dip Pizzetta, and wow. Spinach, artichokes, béchamel, shaved parm, mozzarella, garlic dressing, and baby arugula all working together in perfect harmony. Easy 10/10. I'm still thinking about it and already planning my next visit just to order it again. Next up was the crab rangoon dip, which was rich, indulgent, and dangerously good. Followed by the beer cheese jumbo pretzel. They wee soft, salty, and exactly what you want alongside drinks. Zero regrets. We wrapped things up with the Kung Pao Cauliflower Bites, and they were such a pleasant surprise. The tempura cauliflower stayed crispy, the General Tso's-style sauce had just the right balance of sweet and heat, and the cashews, sesame seeds, and scallions added great texture. Drink-wise, we shared a bottle of wine from their solid selection, but I also have to shout out their massive cocktail menu, so many options that I'll definitely be back to explore it properly next time. The cherry on top? We made our reservation on Yelp . Between the food, drinks, live music, and overall atmosphere, Husk and Vine was a total win for a night out. Can't wait to return!
