The bartender, Britt, has such a great attitude and makes even better cocktails :) They have a rotating drink menu so there's always something fun and fresh/unique to try. They also recently opened a pop up sushi shop in the back which I have yet to try, but the menu looks delightful! Every room in this place is a different theme and very cool.

The vibe is super cool, cozy seating, great ambience, dim lighting that feels like a hidden gem. I sat on the comfy couch and ordered sushi from OKA, which was honestly better than ever. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were delicious too; strong, creative, and exactly what I wanted for a chill night out. I was having a great time, enjoying my meal and drinks, when disaster struck right at the end. I had literally just finished eating when a huge roach crawled right by my feet on the couch area. It was massive and absolutely disgusting. I jumped out of my seat so fast, thankfully I was done with my food, or I probably would've lost it completely. I didn't scream (which is a miracle because I definitely would have at home), but it was such a gross turn-off. I get that this is Lake Worth and Florida has its bugs, but come on, a roach that big in a dining establishment? That's not okay. You really need to step up the pest control. Also, the bathrooms could use some serious help. They're outdated and feel neglected, definitely in need of an update or renovation to match the rest of the cool vibe. Overall, the sushi shines, the drinks are spot-on, and the atmosphere is fun... but that roach ruined the ending for me, and the bathrooms don't help. Fix those things, and this place could be amazing. Hoping it was just a one-off bad night!

The menu had a lot of interesting options, but those two ended up being the highlights for our table. The deviled eggs had a subtle smoky flavor that worked really well without being overpowering. I also liked the cauliflower more than expected since it stayed crispy instead of getting soggy in the sauce. Service felt steady throughout the night even when more tables started filling in around us. Our server checked on timing, kept drinks refilled, and gave us space to enjoy the meal without rushing anything. The whole place had a relaxed neighborhood feel that made dinner easygoing.

A few of the things I liked.. - Fruit juice used for mixers is made in-house fresh daily. The drinks are creative and made well. - The sweet and sour cauliflower, the sliders, the chicken and dumplings. - Servers are always knowledgeable and attentive - indoor and outdoor seating with fans on a warm day. Upscale vibe with dim lighting. - plenty of parking A few I didn't.. - The fish dip was just ok - the fried part of the southern fried chicken while juicy on the inside, lacked flavor - the up charge for almond vanilla milk in the espresso martini without being told up front of the added cost -the steak tartare happy hour portion is 1 bite-sized piece. Just offer the normal sized portion for a reduced happy hour price as opposed to 1/4th the portion for 1/3rd the price. Overall I would say every experience is good but not great. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try and seeing if you agree with my review.

There was live music to sing along to until he left then we DJ'd our own music on the TouchTunes via the app. It was a nice vibe. Waitress came over and remade my drink to a proper lemon drop. Shared delicious pretzel bites with friends and also ordered the soup or the day, chicken poblano which was creamy and tasty. Overall we had a grand time hanging out and the staff are all super pleasant and cool.

The roaring fire added ambience; it doesn't happen often in south Florida but on this "frigid" night the fire was really needed. We started at the bar with a few drinks including the Dr. No, and then moved to our table, we didn't feel rushed at all, it was Saturday night, 8:30 pm and the restaurant was quite full. I always get the wedge salad and I especially like NM's version with avocado and a thick, creamy blue cheese dressing (but not overpowering everything else). Also, their empanadas are renown and we love their chimichurri sauce. I highly recommend them. We also tried the daily pasta which was good. For mains, we really went for it with the 16 oz Ribeye, quite a large serving that we didn't finish and took home with us (see picture). The steak was pretty straight up - just a well-cooked delicious piece of meat. I had heard people rave about the veal chop so I decided to try it and was happy I did; also a rather large piece of meat (bone-in) with melted cheese and a light sauce - probably one of the best veal chops I've had (which we also took home with us). Nicholson Muir does great sides - we got the creamed spinach which was not overly creamy and the truffle fries, thin-style with a nice crunch. For dessert, the bread pudding (with a birthday candle) was very good - the ice cream portion was gone in split seconds. Excellent service with our main server and other servers attending to us making sure everything was great and delicious.

For one, they have excellent service by the bartenders to waitresses, and two, they close at 2am. They also seem to have extensive menu items that make your mouth water but unfortunately I haven't had the chance to try them because the kitchen closes at 1030pm on weekdays. They have plenty of parking spaces and offer both indoor and outdoor sitting areas. If you haven't already, give this place a try with or without your friends. Also, there are other interesting restaurants and stores nearby in the same plaza like shoe station, total wines, sugar boba, and Yami Kbbq.

As I got her attention to ask about getting a drink she replied happy hour was over in about 20 minutes ! She said she was very busy and said she would come back when she had time ! I then knew she wouldn't come back for a while so I decided to go to the bar to get a drink! I ordered a beer on tap $4.00 ! Ok no problem ! Seems reasonable! Beer was warm though not very cold ! Who wants a warm beer? I'm not exaggerating it was warm !! Waitress came by then after another ten minutes and asked if anyone wanted drinks friends ordered drinks n water ! It seemed more than 20 minutes to get water n where we were it wasn't full of people at tables . Taco Tuesday so we all ordered tacos. I asked for two one chicken one fish on flour tortillas. Another ordered the same on corn tortillas. 6 people at table waitress brings orders. I took a bit of mine and it was corn . Other lady got my flour ones ! We both already bit into them so decided just to eat them and not say anything as what would waitress do ? Order again to make it right would take longer so we just ate them . Taste was good ! They didn't come with any sauce so I asked for little cup which was like a tablespoon ! After I got my bill I was charged for it which waitress should have told me beforehand! Wouldn't that just be on plate as a condiment with the tacos ? Waitress was few and far between ! Hardly saw her ! As I sat at bench I looked at small kitchen window where they put orders for pick up I notice a cook for more than 5 minutes picking at his neck . I couldn't see if he wears gloves while making meals or washes his hands after he did this !

Don't sleep on Boynton Beach - cocktail bar vibe, hiding in plain site in a strip mall... this gem is chef inspired and simply amazing. We tried the wood fired asparagus served on toast with a gooey egg and then the pork belly grilled baby bok choy and both had me in the happy chair dance. Although steak definitely makes sense with a wood fire concept, instead we tried the lamb rack served with a mint sauce combo that has you cleaning the plate and local pompano served curry lite with wild mushroom (delish)! If you are a foodie make your way here. This was a spot where one (or is it just me) considers maybe we order everything to try? And we left the fun for another time. I have my eye on their spiced lamb bolognese and another amazing cocktail. The cocktails are mostly milk fat clarified which adds yet another fun twist to a new fav spot! It's like sitting next to a warming fire. This time we tried the grilled asparagus, the grilled baby bok choy with pork belly and gorgonzola (our favorite), the luncheonette burger with crispy fries, the double cut pork chop with grilled cabbage and pickled mustard seed, and the waygu lamb (I know, a lot of food!). Everything was fantastic but the burger initially came out a bit undercooked (we ordered it medium) so they cooked it a bit more and quickly brought it back. I thought the lamb wagyu was a bit light on the meat, the pork chop was amble and laid out nicely on the plate. We also tried the watermelon tequila drink (very refreshing and not too sweet), an old fashioned, and they have a good list of wines. We love the big cube in cocktails. I don't know how they got them to be so clear. The bar tender was great and the cooks were working very hard. The owner always comes by to say hello and chat. Second Rodeo varies the menu.
