He did a great job and gave us a great price on the equipment. The second time, in 2009 was to replace our old Pioneer music system. There were 30 existing installed speakers throughout the inside and outside of the house, some of which had never been used. He suggested we try a Sonos bridge system, which we were unfamiliar with at the time. He educated us on the simplicity of wireless HiFi home audio streaming and told us he could organize our speakers into zones that could stream different music in different rooms simultaneously. We tried the system and were hooked right away with the ease and versatility of the system and the music quality. Most recently, he installed a high-end T.V. for us and a Sonos soundbar which gives us great audio and can be combined with the existing speakers to create a surround sound effect. We love it. Ryan has tutored us on how to use all of our gadgets and we can call him for help and he will walk you through the glitch.

This is a sad story of the betrayal of that trust, their underhanded ways and the hero who ultimately saved the day! With their matching Tshirts and cringey bravado, Granko descended upon our property promising a new era in internet stability; "you'll never have to call Comcast again... just us!" Oh boy... you know the type. We hoped they'd do right by us so we whipped off a positive review when they finished. PRO TIP: Never, for any reason, write a good review in the first 24-48 hours. Within a few days, the system reverted to its old tricks--dropping Sonos amps, latency issues and random WiFi shut downs. But worse...where we once had WiFi throughout our property, we now had nothing outside our homes. What? We had just paid for extenders to boost the signal and exorbitant labor fees only to make things dramatically worse. What then ensued were a flurry of emails from July - Dec, more equipment and labor charges. Granko claimed the wiring was compromised, sonos amps weren't hardwired, Sonos did software updates, faulty splitters, etc... all those fixes were implemented but surprise, surprise! Everything was exponentially worse. In 2025, medical issues sidelined us and frankly, we didn't want to deal with Granko. It was annoying, they never re-examined network wide solutions and consistently threw more equipment at any issue. Sensing a pattern here, folks? In July, 2026, we foolishly decided to call them as issues still plagued the system.Their answer? More equipment and labor. And, once again, no change. At this time, quite randomly, we found out that we were missing some equipment. We then went through the digital site map with Granko. In 2024, we had paid for 4 ULTRA 60W network switches but they were nowhere on the map. Just last month, we had paid for 2 U7s, only one appeared on the map. Granko admitted they swapped out 3 of the ULTRA 60W for a cheaper product but never told us. And they had no idea where the 4th switch was. They blamed the missing U7 on the old "miscommunication between techs". I picked up the owed U7. Granko's wife gave me a taped up box which had been previously opened with the accessory packaging opened. Classy! Thankfully we had been interviewing technicians and Diego Cid of Sonoma Tech Solutions came for a consultation! Within 40 minutes, he assessed the situation. Diego spent 2 days in 90 degree heat, modernizing and optimizing our network. He reinstalled routers and switches, corrected the network topology establishing a single gateway and end-to-end network, put Sonos under the same network and adjusted for multiroom operation. He also found that Granko never installed the U7s and other boosters properly... they had them too low, their reach was totally neutered by obstructions! Diego also cleaned up all the wiring in our boxes. See pic below. The caption function isn't working... the messy cabinet is what Granko left us. The beautiful, neat and accessible cabinet is Diego's) Within moments, after he finished, our system started performing beautifully. We had WiFi around the property, the internet speed was faster and our Sonos amps were working beautifully. It's been a few weeks now without an issue... since our problems were daily, the change was obvious!!! So this begs these questions... --Does Granko install for obsolescence? Do they intentionally build a system that will routinely fail so they can add more equipment/labor, creating an endless money stream? Did they see us, 70+ senior women, as marks? --Does Granko know what they're doing? Pretty incompetent not to know how to install U7s and boosters. Worse, Sonoma Tech Solutions took minutes to understand the network topography was completely unworkable. Intentional (see point above) or perhaps they have no idea what they are doing?? Regardless of who you hire, do a full review of what they promised and all the prepaid equipment to accomplish that. If you are interested in getting the work done professionally and right the first time, contact Diego Cid at Sonoma Tech Solutions (707) 237-4894.

Shortly after the install the TV dropped down, something broke on mount. Mike and his team came back out, took it down, shipped it to the company so they could fix it (it was a manufacturing defect) and reinstalled it when it arrived fixed. They were professional, quick to respond to any and all questions we have, and they are friendly! We have been enjoying our outside TV in our pavilion. They are our first call for any internet upgrades, sound, TV -- all of it!

I also wanted to be able to stream music, podcasts and other content from my phone to any room where I had ceiling speakers installed, to a combination of speakers or all of them at once. This would allow me to start listening to a podcast in the shower and continue listening to it over the Sonos speakers as I made my way thought the house. Throughout the entire project Sonos was very professional and they went above and beyond during every phase. During the final installation (which took almost three days) they answered every question I had, made multiple height adjustments to the living room TV and explained the Sonos app and how to broadcast to all the Sonos speakers in the house. They also explained and demonstrated the Alexa dot device and showed my how to configure my music app for Alexa. My remodel was probably a small to medium size project for Sync Systems (I'm sure there are mansions in Sonoma and Napa that have in-home movie theatres for 20 people!) but they treated it like one of their biggest and most complex jobs. Every detail was perfect. The office team was great too, with efficient billing as the project progressed and easy online payment through QuickBooks. Would highly recommend Mike and his team at Sync Systems.
