    Horrible food but well plated

The good- fun dinner show pretty ambiance and excellent service. **Eat somewhere else for dinner** or go for just some cocktails heavy appetizers and the show. The not good- the food is awful we were only able to eat the chips and guac and drink margaritas those were good! The lobster and the steaks were horrible. Would not recommend

Amazing service at Maria Corona! We truly felt like family. The staff was so wonderful, it felt like white glove service. It's an outdoor restaurant, and perfect weather when we were there. As the sun sets and it gets dark they have string lights to light up the area, creating a perfect ambiance. The drinks and food were top notch, their house Margarita was a 10/10, a must try for everyone. They had a singer, Mexican danzantes, and Ballet Folklorico. The show was spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back the next time we're in Cabo.

Great food, ambiance & friendly staff. I had the fresh fish ceviche which was excellent. One of my favorite restaurants in Cabo.

This place serves some of the best authentic Mexican food we had while in Cabo while providing a nice environment and extensive menu. Every dish is rich in flavor capturing the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine. The mole, for example, was bursting with flavor and a nice addition to the carne asada dish. The menu offers a wide variety of options, each one more delicious than the last. The drinks are just as impressive. The margarita I got was huge! Whether you're craving a hearty meal or a refreshing drink, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. The staff and service were very positive. The warm, inviting atmosphere only adds to the overall experience. If you're looking for authentic Mexican fare, this is the place to be!

This review is strictly for their drinks! We stopped by for drinks on our last evening in Cabo. Honestly, I have a deep seated aversion to tequila but Cabo, specially Maria Corona made made me buy tequila bottles from Cabo lol! Husband and I both got mezcal and tequila drinks, so smooth and so tasty! They also have some entertainment few days a week and we saw some fire show and a dance. This place is expensiveeee!!! You will pay ~mex$480 per drink which is a lottt! Our server, Carlos, was very polite and friendly and made great suggestions for drinks. Recommend for drinks!

Service was top notch! All the employees were polite and courteous. We ordered the Carnitas, Mole and a cheesecake... it was all to die for!!! Beautiful court yard with ambient lighting. The restroom was also immaculate. Recommend and definitely returning.

Food: was good but for Cabo middle of the road type of foods although lots of moles to try. Lots of great margarita choices as well. Service: very friendly and attentive. We were with a large group and we didn't have to wait for service. Ambiance: great shows on Wed and Sat but also great Spanish singers other nights as well. Great hidden oasis behind the walls after entering the courtyard. Will be back next time in town.

I'd give 4 stars for the entertainment, which was fantastic and varied and the kids loved it but 3 stars for the food. The outdoor seating is great and the show starts around 7pm and is worth the pricey food if you have kids. There were very impressive fire twirlers and dancers and other acts including a mariachi band. The guacamole appetizer was very good and they can tailor the spice level to your preference. The margarita was fabulous but at $25 dollars, yes, $25 US dollars, it's ridiculously over priced. The ceviche appetizer was okay but not great. The mole was very good, the carnitas were okay, the fish was disappointing. The kids chicken fingers were okay but not great. All in all I would consider going here for the show but know that the food won't blow you away and is quite expensive.

Fried ice cream with a birthday message

We came for a birthday celebration. We wanted authentic Mexican food. They made suggestions for a tine as there would be a show that night. We were seated promptly. The queso plate was made in front of us with a hot plate. It was delicious. We had been eating all day so we opted to share the pork shank. I expected a single plate however they split the plate and brought us individually beautiful plate. In addition, we had dessert with a Happy Birthday written in chocolate! The show was a series of folkloric dance. It was amazing! They even had a show with fire! The dancers were professionally trained and were amazing. I highly recommend!

    Flan with horchata ice cream

Incredible! Authentic delicious Mexican food, attentive service, beautiful dancing and music! Cozy backyard with warm decorations! A must!

Super fun large outdoor patio for Mexican fare and margs. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere 4 Opentable able: yes Cost to worth it rating: 3 (bit spendier than anticipated being off of hotel property) Return worthiness: yes Highlights. - Mexican fondue: melted cheese plus chorizo, mushrooms, and corn prepared in front of us and served in a mocolate was a big hit. Corn tortillas were chewy and great too. 4.5 stars - Guacamole: freshly made to order was extra delicious though could have used a bit more salt. 4 stars - Shrimp Diabla: decent sized shrimp in a spicy sauce. 4 stars - Mole: they're famous for it and it was the standard dark sauce and not too spicy. 4 stars - Margs: different flavors which I enjoyed and in fun glasses from tequila bottles. - Flaming coffee: got a show for this after dinner drink - Atmosphere: huge open area with colorful paper decor and a guy singing on stage Lowlights: - Bit farther out than I thought since we were staying on the far end of the marina Fun classic spot I'd recommend.

$7 four course meal.... ok and a margarita....

I'm talking the kind of band that makes you want to order another margarita just so you can clap along like you suddenly grew up in Guadalajara. And the food? Real-deal Mexican classics mole, enchiladas, chile rellenos big flavors coming out of a kitchen that knows what it's doing. Now let's talk about the chips and salsa, because I didn't come here to play games. Some restaurants give you chips like they're doing you a favor three chips and a little salsa like it's a museum sample. Not here. These chips show up ready to party. Crunchy, warm, and the salsa hits you like, "Hola amigo, welcome to flavor." Add the incredible service and that mariachi band floating through the courtyard and suddenly dinner turns into a whole event. Honestly, this place was one of the highlights of my Cabo trip and my socks? Yeah... they're still somewhere on the floor from those chips and salsa.

But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.

Service was impeccable our servers Ohnel and Arturo did not miss a beat. Proper Mexican mole the kind built from dried chiles, nuts, seeds, and even a whisper of chocolate thick, dark, mysterious stuff that tastes like it took a committee of grandmothers three days to invent. I took one bite and nearly wrote home about it. Rich, smoky, a little sweet... the sort of sauce that makes a man pause mid-chew and reconsider every sauce he has ever trusted before. Then the tacos arrived, and that's when things got serious. These weren't tidy little tacos meant for polite company. No sir. These were the kind where the juice runs down your hands and you stop worrying about manners because flavor has taken command of the ship. La Lupita is known around Cabo for its creative tacos and massive mezcal selection, and judging by the crowd and the music humming through the place, folks already know the secret. The staff goes the extra mile with every little detail, and before long you realize you didn't just stop for tacos you discovered a whole new method of happiness, served on a tortilla.
