4 stars because someone took our food and had to wait an additional 20 minutes to receive the new order. Meanwhile the people next to us got to enjoy our order plus their order as we waited....we wouldn't have minded if the workers had apologized or offered a pastry while we waited. The coffee wasn't very good and the pastries were decent. Service was good and ambiance has a cozy feel to it.

Very impressed with this bakery/coffee shop. We stopped by and got some great cafe de olla, a burrito, and a churro croissant. Everything was delicious. Prices were above average, but worth it (quality costs money). This is a working bakery, so everything is made on site and tastes it. Staff is attentive and friendly, dining room is clean and comfortable. If you haven't already stopped by, you should do so soon! read more

We live up the street from here & this morning I was in the mood for pan dulce. We usually go to the best bakery in La Habra- El Central but since this is closer we chose to try it out. I love orejas so thats what I went with. Got home, made my coffee and sat down to enjoy my pan con cafe. BARRRFF, the oreja is STALE & has a funkee flavor that I can't seem to pin point. My husband and I came here to see what rave was all about. Customer service... geez. The girl behind the counter was asked by a customer, "How are you doing?", she says, "Well, you see I'm here on a Friday night." With an attitude . What an experience to start off with. The bread did not taste like it was fresh. The Tres Leches seemed like something was really wrong with the milk. I asked a customer sitting next to us if her tres leches was bad and she agreed, it was bad. I'm giving 2 stars because the Cafe De La Olla was good. read more

I've been to the Downey and Norwalk location and I've had a good experience but this Whittier one is not what I expected. I went in the morning and my pan dulce was hard and not warm at all. I asked the worker if they were warm and he said yes and he clearly lied. I wasted 30 something dollars to eventually throw the bread away and the only thing that was ok was the pan muerto. One last thing the bread lacked flavor and it tasted like the bread was old. read more

O k, so we're here at Maui at 2 boulevard. The staff is really friendly the places apple spaced. They have computer plugs in which is great. The sweets are amazing and they have a great menu and with good taste. They only downfall, is the AC doesn't work. Very well, they have no blinds on the windows. So all the heat comes in through that window. They should look into putting blinds in to. Maybe keep some of the sun out are some kind of shades and the parking is a bit tight other than that. This is an amazing place to highly recommend it. read more

I really wanted this bakery to be good but found the pan dulce to be less than adequate, it all that I purchased lacked moisture , flavor, and had a day old texture. I actually thought I could have had better from my local Stater Bros. The cost of goods in this bakery is grossly overpriced $1.25 for 1 mini concha!! I also ordered a latte and received a lukewarm over sweetened drink. Needless to say I will not be returning or recommending. read more

The coffee was lukewarm. The pan dulce was okay. I had the chorizo burrito, which was tasty but seemed reheated rather than freshly made, causing the tortilla to become hard. However, the empanadas were very tasty. read more

Mariachi at Norwalk was a great experience and I was looking forward to visit this new location since it's close to home. Our coffee was delicious, however customer service was horrible. We order our drinks and food, got our drinks first as expected and it took 40min to get our last food item. I was trying to remain patient in line to ask for my order. Young lady looked at me and looked away and continued talking/laughing around with another employee. I then walked over and asked for if my food was almost ready, that we have been waiting for 40min now. Both looked at me and just said let me go take a look. Comes back and asks how I want my order. Did not give an apology, just walked away to make it. Had to wait an additional 10min. Very disappointed for my first and last visit at this location. read more

This review is only for the breakfast chorizo con papa burrito, you guys have to do better $8.50 for that burrito is way too much it's the size of a Tina's frozen burrito that are 10 for $10 at the supermarket. I'd rather pay $12.00 for a good healthy size burrito than to be disappointed. Again this is just for the burrito. I did have an ice coffee and I enjoyed it. read more

Today 7/10/24 is the soft opening at this location. I ordered a Mexican Mocha frappe and a chocolate croissant. The frappe was delicious! I would prefer the coffee flavor to be stronger. Maybe I'll add a shot next time. My croissant tasted great but was a little on the dry side. The people behind the counter were nice and very helpful. I was so excited that Mariachi Bakery opened so close to my house because I had really enjoyed the drinks from their Norwalk location. I ordered an iced La Lechera latte and a Mazatlan concha. They were both decent but neither tasted like the flavor it was supposed to be. Not a trace of mazapan flavor in the small, dry concha & the latte was just a latte. Very disappointed, but at least I'll be saving money by not coming here. read more

I got the horchata frappe and it was delicious. If you like sweet tasting coffee then I would recommend that drink but they also have other types of coffee as well. And I also tried one of their burritos and empanadas and they were both just as good as the coffee. The customer service was A+ and everything was ready in only a few minutes.
