    pot pie
    Kingston W.

I recently dropped in for a late lunch (about 2:00p). As mentioned in previous posts, the format of this restaurant is fast casual. You go to the counter and place your order. If you are dining in, they will give you a flag, You select a seat, and they will bring your order to you. I have no complaints about the service. I had not had a turkey pot pie in years. I ordered one, for the sake of nostalgia. I was disappointed. The crust was very nice--but it was practically all gravy inside. I can see them being stingy with the turkey; but they skimped on vegetables, too. I am sure that the pot pies are assembled off site and heated at the restaurant. I am unsure if this is a indication that this menu item offers very little value, or if there is a quality control problem at the co-packer. The low score awarded reflects the poor value I received on this menu item.

First time coming here, Customer Service wasn't the best, The Man taking the order was kind of Rude and Abrupt, Not friendly, They didn't Accept a Promotion listed on their website. Had the chicken Fettuccine, it was good, ordered a slice of the banana creme pie, the bananas was OLD! Mostly Whip Cream Covered the pie, Disappointed, Probably won't be back.

One of the Thanksgiving dishes where we were told to leave the side in the dish and heat in the oven. Plastic melted.
    Snappadoodle X.

Our Thanksgiving with Marie Callender's was a complete disaster. We spent $184 on what was supposed to be a delightful feast, only to have the plastic dishes provided melt in the oven as instructed, ruining the entire celebration. Following the given directions to remove the lids but leave the plastic dishes in the oven resulted in a pervasive smell of burning plastic throughout our house. This raised concerns among our guests about the safety of consuming the sides and even the turkey. Apart from the distressing experience with the plastic dishes, we now also have to contend with the aftermath of cleaning melted plastic from the bottom of our oven. This, coupled with the overall dissatisfaction of our Thanksgiving, leaves us deeply disappointed. I sincerely hope Marie Callender's takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues to prevent others from encountering similar Thanksgiving nightmares. We sent an email to the corporate office but they just passed the buck onto the franchise. They sent the franchise our email but the franchise apparently doesn't give a crap.

Ordered on DoorDash and the pot pie was super good warm fresh yummy creamy flaky delicious and the cream cheese slice of pie was delicious. The pie was a little pricey, but other than that the food is really really good and worth it.

Ordered the cheesy potato soup with cornbread. And a slice of pecan pie. Everything was tasty and delicious. Plenty of parking spaces. Situated in a shopping plaza next to Ralph's. Highly recommend to others

Overall our meal was great and there were TVs visible from anywhere you sat, which is perfect for a sports bar. My big gripe is being charged $1 for pickles to go with a sandwich. Maybe you get more if they put them directly on the sandwich, but they forgot mine so the pickles came in a ramekin. 6 pickle slices for $1.

The staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which always makes a meal that much better. To start, we shared the coconut shrimp and the crack fries, and wow... the crack fries absolutely lived up to their name. They were dangerously addictive. Crispy, flavorful, and impossible to stop eating. We kept reaching for "just one more" until the basket was empty. The coconut shrimp was also fantastic and a perfect starter to share. For entrees, my parents split the vegan Korean glass noodles and absolutely loved them. They were packed with flavor and surprisingly hearty. I ordered the Korean breakfast, which was my favorite dish of the meal. I'm a huge bulgogi fan, and everything on the plate was savory, flavorful, and satisfying. My sister-in-law got the kimchi fried rice, which was also delicious, and my brother ordered the Filipino breakfast burrito. It was good, but compared to everything else we tried, it wasn't the standout dish for our group. My only real complaint was that it was pretty warm inside the restaurant. The AC didn't seem to be running, and there was only one small window open, so it got a little uncomfortable during brunch. That said, the food, service, and overall atmosphere more than made up for it. We all left happy, and the ultimate seal of approval came from my mom, who said she'd happily come back. Considering she usually hates eating out, that's probably the highest compliment a restaurant can get.

Ie. banana turon or ube pancakes, Filipino inspired burrito with longanisa. I chose the bulgogi plate and asked for no white rice and was offered fruit or salad in lieu of. Tasty bulgogi w/a small egg on top yet the portions are very modest. In the middle of my meal, I ordered one more item- the krak fries which were very garlicky. They go for the presentation with the floral and greens to jazz up the look. Hubby's dish was straight ahead- Bulgogi cheesesteak and fries. Also modest in portions. Iced decaf Americano in a plastic cup and OJ in a plastic cup. Kinda odd considering their price points. Some beverages are in mugs. This was more like a 2.75 stars rounded up to 3.
