    Slice of Apple Pie.

It's St. Patrick's Day, and I decided at the last minute I wanted corned beef and cabbage for dinner. I searched DoorDash, and the best option was Marie Callender's. The meal seemed expensive at first, but then I noticed it came with a small salad, side of cornbread and honey butter, and a slice of pie, so I decided it was worth the price. The corned beef turned out to be the best I've ever tasted. It was so tender and savory. I'm not sure if they serve it year round or just for St. Patrick's Day, but I hope I don't have to wait a year to order it again. Plus, the portion size was huge. The cornbread was kind of dry. It probably would have tasted better warmed up and with melted butter on it. I had a slice of apple pie for dessert, and while it wasn't amazing, it was decent. It's probably been 10 years since I last ate at Marie Callender's, and it was nice to have such an enjoyable meal delivered to me all these years later.

This spot is super underrated! I grew-up eating Marie Callender's frozen meals from my grandfather so this was going to be nostalgic for me- I had low expectations. The ambiance is pretty old school but I think that added to the charm. We really had the best service from Francisco- attentive, personable, and generous and the food was delicious and homey. Portions were large and I enjoyed the sides of veggies. We ordered: *Fresh Avo & Shrimp Stack- crisp, good flavor, and crispy tortilla chips *Marie's Meatloaf- their signature & didn't disappoint! Warm and hearty *Country Fried Steak- our least fav but the server did warn us...the meat was too thin and the fry was only ok *Heartland Chicken Pot Pie- came out steaming & the filling was stacked We were incredibly full but definitely eyed dessert. We were going to decline but then Francisco surprised us w/ one of their most popular flavors- double cream lemon! SO GOOD!! And then when we thought it was over, he brought the rhubarb pie w/ ice cream lol. We'll be back to try other menu items! Tysm for the experience.

Been coming to Marie Callender's for years and years (although not necessarily this location, and in SoCal as well), and it's still basically my go-to place for coffee and pie and some All American favorites. So not surprising, gets really really busy around Christmas and Thanksgiving (lots of pre-packaged meals for take home and no table service). Always highly recommend the chicken pot pie and all the sweet pies.

Food: was great, I loved the country fried steaks it was so tasty and pie was worth the drive. We took my partners parents and siblings to this place to try the food did not disappoint. Service: was great our waitress had a great personality and attentive. Ambience: the place needs to be re-done hands down, I think the brand is so classic, it deserves to be given a chance and new furniture and carpet, redo the place.

Came here for just one item.... There seasonal fresh peach pie!!! It's an expensive pie but hey, I'm worth it C-; I tried to call them up at 5:30 and all I got was please hold from a live person and after 3 minutes, the phone would ring again and I got the same response three times!! so I just decided to go and take a chance that they still had some left as they sell out quickly. Fortunately, when I arrive, they had plenty of the fresh peach pies for me ;-) The service over was good and fast. No complaints.

The restaurant had a retro and relaxing atmosphere. As soon as we sat down, they brought out cornbread. It was warm enough to see the steam rising, and it had a subtle sweetness that made it really delicious. Roasted Turkey Dinner Overall, it felt a bit salty to me. The cranberry sauce that came with it also tasted great when paired with the cornbread. Shrimp & Chicken Carbonara It was creamy, and the shrimp were nice and plump. Personally, I preferred this dish over the turkey. We also ordered the cheesecake, but it felt a bit simple. Next time, I'd love to try one of their pies!

I've been coming to Marie Callender's for years. I think this is the last remaining one in the Bay Area. Great food, especially these two... Heartland Chicken Pot Pie: Loaded with tender chunks of chicken with seasonings and vegetables and topped with their famous hand-pressed flaky crust. Marie's Meatloaf: Slow -baked with 100% Angus ground beef, onions, green peppers, carrots and special seasonings, topped with mushroom cabernet gravy. Served with fresh mashed potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables. The pies are great. In season, their Fresh Strawberry is always a winner. Fresh Peach is also good. These daily pies flavors are just as good. My favorites are their... Double Cream Blueberry Pie: A sweet blend of rich vanilla cream and fresh sour cream atop juicy blueberries with a hint of apple. A delicious blend of fresh, quality ingredients and rich flavors with a smooth and creamy texture. Topped with fresh whipped cream Banana Cream Pie: An all time favorite. Rich vanilla cream and fresh ripe bananas. A delicious blend of fresh, quality ingredients and rich flavors with a smooth and creamy texture. Topped with fresh whipped cream or meringue. Cream Cheese Pie: Cream cheese filling in a graham cracker crust with a pure sour cream topping.

It's been years since the last time I came here. The service was a bit slow from the start. It took 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order and another 10 minutes to receive them. They did bring out cornbread as soon as we sat down. But unfortunately, it was on the dry side. I went with their mini pot pie, and it was good. Nothing special. My meal came with a Caesar salad that was bland. I ended my meal with a Kahlua pie which was okay. Overall, it was an okay experience.

As one of the last Marie Callender's in the Bay Area, I'm really glad we still have at least one. Where am I going to get delicious pie when I'm in the mood? We ordered some pies online for pick-up which was extremely smooth. The pies and utensils were all ready in their refrigerator packaged in a to-go bag ready for me when I got there. I bought the following: 1.) Whole Double Cream Strawberry Pie 2.) Whole Lemon Meringue Pie (only $13.99 for the whole month of April 2025) As expected, they were DELICIOUS. Good portion sizes and everything was made perfectly. The Strawberry Pie is very soft though and is hard to cut into nice slices overall but tastes good regardless.

I came in to try one of their pies and ended with the banana cream pie. On the website, they had an option of whipped cream or meringue topping for the banana cream pie, but when I came in the only option they had was whipped cream, which was a total disappointment. They had said that they just hadn't made it for the day so I'm not sure if it was just a location specific thing or they don't even have that as an option anymore. we also signed up for the Marie E club for rewards and was disappointed to find that we couldn't use our five dollars off 20 on whole pies. I feel like they're most known for their pies so I wish I had more promotions around this. I don't believe I would ever come in here to eat their food, but maybe to try another pie flavor.

Walked in on pie day to grab a slice since I'm lucky enough to be so close! They were busy handing out the pie orders soon after they opened! My slice order was taken just as I walked in and just had to wait a little for them to be ready for me. It was so delicious! I'm planning on coming back to dine in again, even just for the pies and the staff being so kind.

My in-laws got a mailer with various pie coupons on it for Marie Calendars and got a craving for the Chocolate Satin pie. We called ahead after dinner to make sure they still had one in-stock for the day and then went to pick one up for takeout. We ordered at the counter and used our $7 coupon, which felt like a pretty good deal (the pie is normally $27.99). Also, for every pie tin you bring back clean you get 80¢ back so we brought two tins with us that wife's parents still had). Service was friendly when we ordered at the counter, they only needed a few minutes to grab the pie and box it up for us. They have two dining areas and it is quiet inside. It feels on the older side. One dining area was empty and the other maybe half full, which seemed decent for a Tuesday 40 minutes before closing. The pie itself was very very rich. Smooth chocolate taste but even with my sweet tooth having what I consider a "normal" slice was too much for me! I prefer their apple pies! We do want to come back and try some of their actual appetizers and entrees - before this I had only ever had their pies before for Thanksgiving or frozen from the super market. Note: They do not accept apple pay, make sure to have a physical card or cash.

    Closed early

Called ahead to get their hours, they said they closed at 9 pm, then drove an hour and a half to arrive for dinner at 7:30 and there's a sign on their door that they closed early. Night ruined, wasted gas. 1 star for dependability. 0 stars for wasting my time, gas money and I've got 3 starving kids in my car and I don't know where to take them to eat since we're an hour and a half away from home. Ended up at Black Bear diner down the street, which I could have literally driven 5 mins to from my home town

Do they still have Sunday brunch with Prime rib?

Is your Sunday brunch back yet? If not will it come back or gone for good.

    I hope so!

Do they still have a salad bar?

    Yes

I was looking through the customer photos of the menu, but I don't see chicken pot pies. Do you have them or not?

if you go through the photos of the food they have it

I'm wondering do u still gave enough for thanksgiving dinner ? I could pu or deliver . For 4 people ??…

We ordered from them last year a takeout re-heatable holiday Ham & Turkey feast, and it was plenty for 4 people.

Is there outside table dining set-up?

No outside dining at this time. Takeout and delivery only.

Anyone know if this location will be affected by corporate's bankruptcy?

As of now it doesn't appear so but this could change. Would have to ask management at location as even the staff might not know.

As of now, they don't, but there are rumors of Sunday brunch returning.

This time I decided to stop by here after dinner, my first time sitting down here and ordering. The inside is very clean, modern, and Pinterest-like. They added more decorations and seating from 2 years ago, making the inside more aesthetic. whaT's More always has unique Asian flavors, like durian, earl grey, pandan, red bean, and oolong. The cakes are not too sweet, so definitely Asian parent approved haha! Unfortunately, when we came around 6:30pm, they were sold out of most flavors - so would definitely recommend coming earlier or just ordering online earlier in the morning for pickup. We got the sesame dark chocolate crepe cake. When you eat in the store, the owner provides you with free cups of tea, which are really great for washing down the cake. The chocolate was super rich, and they did not skimp out on the flavor - super chocolatey. The sesame added such a fun earthy and nutty flavor - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The cake is on the slightly denser side, so was super filling. While on the pricier side, the flavors are super unique and the craft that goes into crepe cakes is commendable. I will be ordering my next cake from here again!

The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.

We walked into a clean, modern space with a casual café feel that works well for stopping by after a meal or meeting up with friends for something sweet. The shop focuses on creative variations of bingsu with toppings ranging from fruit to chocolate, matcha, and other dessert-inspired flavors, and the layout encourages lingering over a shared dessert rather than rushing through a quick stop. The biggest highlight is the texture of the shaved ice itself. The ice is extremely soft and light, melting quickly while still holding the flavors from the toppings and condensed milk. We ordered the Injeolmi Sulbing, which showcases the more traditional side with nutty flavors, and the combination of the fine ice, chewy rice cake, and nutty powder created a dessert that felt both refreshing and satisfying. The Tiramisu and Chocolate Brownie Sulbing turn it into a much more indulgent experience, with richer flavors that feel closer to a full dessert than a light treat. The presentation is impressive, with each bowl arriving looking carefully composed, and the layers of toppings are distributed well enough that you get a good mix in every spoonful. The portions are also a major part of the appeal. A single bingsu is easily shareable, making it a good choice for groups or anyone looking for a dessert to split after a meal. We found that sharing worked well, as the portion was generous enough to satisfy two people without feeling like we were missing out. Beyond bingsu, they also offer items like toast and other sweet treats, which give the menu more variety and make it a place you can visit even if you are not in the mood for shaved ice. The main thing to keep in mind is that the experience depends heavily on the flavor you choose. Some versions rely more on the toppings for their flavor, while others feel more balanced throughout. The presentation is impressive, but certain options may feel less satisfying if you expect every bite to have the same intensity as the first. The fruit-based versions, for example, rely on the freshness of the fruit to carry the dessert, while the chocolate and tiramisu versions have a more consistent richness from the base itself. Sulbing is a great spot for trying Korean-style shaved ice. The unique texture, large portions, and variety of flavors make it stand out from typical dessert shops, especially if you enjoy lighter desserts with creative toppings. The balance of refreshing and indulgent options across the menu gives you room to explore different styles on repeat visits, and the quality of the ingredients makes each bowl feel considered and well composed.
