Pretty good pizza. Nice thin crust. Good sauce to cheese ratio. Sauce is robust. I personally like mine a little on the sweeter side. We also tried a side of Meatballs and were definitely A+. Fresh and juicy definitely not dry. Will definitely try other pasta dishes in the future. read more

This place is so bad. We spend $40 on $1 pasta with some canned sauce. No protein, no flavor, even the " garlic rolls" did not taste right. Is like they threw some random garlic sauce , they were watery and soggy I'm so upset. The only reason we went is because it was open late. I was trying to order a cheese pizza and 6 rolls. The price of 6 rolls was basically $10. That's an appetizer, not the meal. I know you guys claim Aventura but be real...your in fkn ojus by the train tracks. Your food quality is not consistent. One time good, another not good at all. I don't care what a pizza and rolls cost in Aventura, hence why I was trying to order from your place. I have the money to spend on the food but it's the principle. I chose to eat at chicken kitchen and call it a day. You won't mind losing me over garlic rolls. I won't mind making my own pizza n rolls at my home. read more

The food was amazing, as always. We ordered for Xmas Eve & everything was delicious!!! The bread was good. It was missing the garlic mixture for the bread that goes with it. I thought it is automatic. Honestly this has been our go to always, especially for their garlic bread. I will always buy from ya'll, nonetheless. Thanks for great food! read more

Not sure why the Owner hasn't claimed this location yet. However, after years of actually growing up on Mario the Baker's in North Miami, I was actually surprised to find out the past few years our delivery orders were being delivered from this location! I don't even have to talk about the garlic rolls (INSANELY YUMMY), and I'm told that they're even more garlicky, which for me is definitely great news! Location is clean and easy to get to, the service is what keeps me and my family coming back and how much TLC they put into their food. My favorite of course is the spaghetti and meatballs and when I'm watching my carb intake, it's the Caprese or Cesar Salad(no croutons) and the side of meatballs. If you haven't tried the meatballs here, than you're a meatball LOL! Definitely try this little slice of Italy embraced in the heart of Aventura. read more

Ordered for pickup from Uber Eats because they were open late and had a BOGO on their baked ziti and cheese pizza. Sadly, the food was not good. The baked ziti tasted like they used basic store bought marinara sauce; not a lot of flavor. I rather eat Papa John's cheese pizza than their pizza. Also had no flavor. Their garlic bread ALSO tasted basic. I also purchased cheese cake and it was very sweet and not fresh, and one small slice was almost $6! I threw it out after the second small bite. The location looked new, as in they went through renovations recently. There were tables but didn't seem like a sit down restaurant. The woman in the front was friendly. Uber Eats, their website, and Google all had different times for when they close. read more

Appears to be mostly a take out place. No frills. Order at the counter, Pickup at the counter. You can dine in but there is NO TABLE SERVICE. Plastic knife, fork, spoon and napkin in a sealed pack on a side table with condiments. When I saw this place on line had a connection to the original Mario The Baker in North Miami I had to go and check out the garlic rolls. Mario's rolls were soft, lots of garlic and oil. Here, they are too browned on top making them kind of hard. Other than that they are pretty good. Ordered : Baked Ziti with Italian sausage in a white sauce. Served in a takeout aluminum dish. Sauce WAY too thin. Sausage very bland and dried out. Probably will not be back. read more

I almost did not order from here, based on several of the reviews I read. Fortunately I had the common sense to see many of them were based on delivery issues or "rude staff". My experience was five star all day. I placed an order for pickup and was directed to an app called "Slice". When I arrived with my husband to pick up our pizza and garlic rolls, we decided to eat them there. The young man working there was super nice and friendly and was happy for us to eat our take out order there. The pizza was delicious and so were the garlic rolls and above all, the price was great!! I will definitely be back. Some of the reviews I read almost sounded like a review of a white table cloth/high end waiter service restaurant! One of the last Mario the Bakers left in Miami, the only one in North Miami. This location is not a full service restaurant it's mainly a take out location but it has tables and it is clean and modern and has tables. See the pics. The staff was accommodating and brought our order to our table the pizza had same flavor as original Mario's except the crust was paper thin yet crispy it was good. The garlic rolls are the same original recipe as well as the veal parm! Everything was tasty and good!! read more

This spot has to be one of the best lowkey hidden pizza restaurants in Miami, I've drove by it so many times without noticing the gold at the end of the rainbow. Because this spot is pure gold customer service is amazing, the food is exquisite and overall a chill environment. I myself am a big pizza lover and I can stand by that Mario the baker has the best pizza in Miami. It's made with love and care from the pizzaiolo Adrian himself. I used to go to the one in North Miami. Too bad, the one closed. ; ( I tried one on Biscayne and it was closed too. ; ( So when I saw the deal in Groupon, we decided to try this place. The restaurant is in the small shopping plaza and not much happening besides the busy streets of Miami Garden drive and one block west of Biscayne. When we walked in, there were a few people in the restaurant and since we didn't order ahead, we had to wait a bit. It seems this place is more popular for food delivery such as Ubereats. My husband wanted to try their lasagna and some chicken wings. The food took about 15 minutes and the food was piping hot. We couldn't wait to try it. Once we were home, we devoured food. The lasagna needed more meat but it tasted good. Chicken wings were small but well done. But these garlic rolls...... I have no idea what happened. These are not same as the ones they used to serve. The ones we used to get at North Miami place were more like yeast rolls and very soft. These were a kind of spongy and not so great. They seemed a bit bigger than the old one but still....My husband who loves any baked goods took a bit and he threw away. I wish they will bring back the old recipe of garlic bread!! The store is very clean and the gentleman at the register was friendly. read more

I hate to do this but this was just an awful experience. My husband grew up in North Miami eating Mario's pizza and still loves it. His sister now lives in Wellington so when we come visit her from Ohio we always go to the Mario's on 441. It's always good. Really really good. This was awful! First off it was supposed to be delivered at 9:15. At 9:45 I called to check on it. He said he was delayed and he was getting it out of oven in 5 min. So would be to us in 20 min. Putting the time at 10pm. I said I understand delays and that's fine but a call would have appreciated a call because we have kids who are waiting. My gut said to cancel the order but kids were freaking out so fine. Pizza was not here in another 20min... Pizza didn't arrive until 10:30. Cheese was hard and separating and chewy like a rubber band and sauce was so salty we couldn't even eat it. We were not called back to recieve an apology about the extreme delay and we were not compensated in anyway. Plus the pizza was just awful. Such a disappointment My husband was so excited to order from them and this specific location from his childhood. On this visit we didn't get to eat at the 441 location like usual and I can only hope they still have great food and service because based on this experience this location doesn't anymore. read more

The order arrived a full hour late. Both the "Slice" app and Mario the Baker restaurant failed to update any delays. They had indicated on two separate occasions the order had arrived yet it was missing in action. The chicken française was in a large amount of butter sauce while the accompanying spaghetti in a red sauce. Mixing the two would have seemed just wrong. One of those lazy days after a long week, I decided to order from this restaurant. I have always passed by this place but never gave it a try. Today was the day! My favorite part was the dessert of course, but all jokes aside. I really loved the Mac and cheese bites. The food tasted fresh and the pizza was very cheesy (always have to add that extra cheese ). I ordered from this place on GrubHub, My first time trying the food. I ordered Chicken Francaise (adding mushrooms and broccoli), a Greek salad, and a meatball sub. First of all, the three tablespoons of garlic butter they douse the garlic rolls in was all over the bag, resulting in a great mess. They weren't even tasty. Mario should put them into a spillproof container or serve them dry! The Chicken Francaise had super thick breading, thicker than the chicken actually, and My broccoli was omitted. The sauce is delicious, though. The pasta that accompanied the Francaise had a sauce that tasted as if it was stored in aluminum.The salad is tasty -- glad I had My own salad dressing though, Mario's was foul. Don't waste your time here. The garlic bread is dry and swimming in grease. The eggplant is bland and cold. And when they tell you 20min they mean over an hour. Five stars Plus! Their integrity is, power excellence. Why? On super bowl Sunday I gave them too much money, lol, and it was returned in my order 2 Days later. The staff has gone above and beyond to take care of me. I am a senior citizen, female, in a wellness center. To I enjoy the food without a doubt! I haven't tried everything but I will get there. I was curious and impressed. I ordered a pizza cappricioso. I was surprised by how quickly it was made. The pizza and the lemonade were delicious. I loved the candle chandeliers they look great in the space. The two televisions with no signal were not so great. The bar has some great options for drinks I noticed a cachaça or two. The restrooms were simple and well maintained. We ended our meal with a cappuccino, an espresso and their tiramisu. All three were excellent. It took a moment to get our server's attention and to get our check but in fairness she was busy with another table and was mostly alone due to the early hour that we visited. I will definitely return and I highly recommend both the pizza and the tiramisu.

Been coming here for a few years already. Pizza is mediocre and toasty. There has been a new remodeling inside of the business. The inside looks much smaller than before. There is also a new staff. Looks like the place has been sold. I was the only one inside eating, but there was a delivery coming to pickup. 2 minors were just walking around on the parking lot and the owner of this place came outside started yelling at them. He said that they did something to his car and threatened to beat them up if they won't leave the parking lot. P.S. Nobody did anything to his car.
