Hot summer days are the best for ceviche. Especially one that is very well made. It's the perfect way to cool off and it always starts with I'll just have one bite and ends with finishing the whole plate. It was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Sometimes there's a downside to influencer videos, because if you change the menu and people come and expect a special for five dollars for five fish tacos. They're expecting that. Especially when they drive over 30 minutes to get there for the experience. I aggress, so the tacos are now two for five dollars on Thursday and it's only fried fish tacos, which also was confusing to me, because the video showed grilled fish tacos, and I wanted grill, but they said that they only do fried. The taco wasn't bad Overall it just wasn't what I was fully expecting. read more

I just bought two cócteles de camarón, and unfortunately, they tasted horrible. They were also extremely expensive for the quality. I'm very disappointed with my experience and will never eat here again. The food did not taste fresh, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please be careful when eating here. read more

Definitely went downhill... used to be amazing. Tacos dorados hit the spot still when craving them. But AVOID the empanadas. They are basically flavorless cheese soup and they made me feel gross after eating one. I ate it because I didn't want my money down the drain and immediately regretted it. read more

Amazing seafood I love the seafood tower with tostadas it's so good and on tuesdays and thursdays they do 5 for $5 shrimp taco plates can't beat that! This is the type of place that if you want real Mexican seafood you come to. I also love that on certain days there's normally a couple other vendors/ trucks there to look around at or get an agua. I love in East L.A and it was my second time having Mariscos El Bigoton. They're a lunch truck parked right on Whittier Blvd. usually about 8 lunch trucks on this street if you're from the area you know. The location is very easy to spot. Parking is a little chaotic because you do have to park inside the commerce center. They're usually there during the day and leave early. As far as the locations they have this is the only one I know. The food is pretty good, my husband and I decided to stop by and grabbed some Tacos dorados de Camarón and a pastelazo. The mariscos were very good and clean. However, I do think customer service could be more welcoming. Unfortunately, I saw a customer place an order to go and they didn't give him tostadas with his order and charged him instead. Which I thought was very ironic since he got Mariscos. I would think they'll give them to him. The cashier we got that day sounded very annoyed and non-approachable. Definitely should work on that. Aside from that inconvenience if your in the Montebello or Commerce area stop by and give them a try. The food is really good. You definitely won't regret getting it!! read more

Came here for Taco Tuesday! They had $1 shrimp tacos dorados! Similar to Mariscos 4 Vientos. Nowadays it's hard to come across any spot selling tacos for $1! We ordered 15 tacos and it came with the salsa. Taking the first bite I felt it was lacking a little bit of flavor. The salsa also is lacking a bit of flavor and no spice. :( Overall, it's def not bad. It came out fresh and hot! The line does get long. For reference it was a very hot day. So I commend the employees for their hard work. The wait was very long, the seafood tower was not a tower at all. I think they to take a look at how they present, prepare and serve. Once we received our order it had no limes, small tostadas, no salsa just tapatio packets. Take a look at Jato and Linda's before spending the 30 bucks it's not worth. Sorry. read more

Usually my go to spot for aquachiles but today I don't know what happened. A small plate is usually severed whole with shrimp and cucumbers undiced but today I guess I was served an onion aquachiles. All my shrimp and veggies were diced so finely I was unable to enjoy my food since usually I'm able to pick out the onion easily. This is some good stuff coming out of this lunch truck , I had the ceviche de camaron order paired up with tostadas, very good flavor, very fresh, a definite winner in my opinion. The order took awhile because there are a whole boatload of people here trying to order this stuff, this place is very popular I must say. I was actually here to try a different food truck, but my wife saw that this food truck was selling ceviche, so we decided to also give this food truck a try. They were selling ceviche for an extremely good price. My wife ended up ordering the ceviche de camaron. There is an option to either serve it on a tostada, or serve a much larger portion in a large cup. We decided to order the tostada portion. The small portion was incredibly generous, and with the tostada there was also avocado as well as spicy sauce. I'm not a big fan of shrimp, but I loved the ceviche, which shows just how much I loved it. The fish was very finely chopped, and the acidic flavor really enhanced the quality of the fish. The avocados went well with it also. I've only had ceviche at one other place, and I must say, the one at this food truck was amazing. I will definitely come back. read more

Delicious, affordable fast service busy seafood truck. Found this truck on Instagram their posts are very appealing to my taste buds. I put it on my favorite lists of places to try when in SoCal and boy it didn't disappoint. Food is a 4 our if 5 rating. I'm very picky and have a high standards for my seafood and I've loved mostly everything I've tried here. If you are a seafood lover this place is a must visit. Service is pretty fast, it's a very busy food truck, they have bar stools and a small sitting area if you wish to eat there. They have both hot and cold plates. Price is very affordable for being seafood and quality is great. We try to make it there every time we are in town. read more

I really dislike leaving negative reviews, especially for places I once loved. I've been visiting the East Los location since 2014, where the food quality was outstanding and the service consistently excellent. It was my go-to spot whenever I was in town. However, during my recent visit, I ordered my usual meal and was shocked to find my bill just shy of $100. This is a food truck, not a restaurant, and the price hike is outrageous. I was also charged $3 for extra sauce on my fried shrimp tacos, which felt excessive. To make matters worse, the food quality has plummeted; the tacos were mushy, and the shrimp tasted like it had been frozen for too long. It was good service the lady at cashier was very friendly , the negative part about it is the manager , I came up to the window to grab hand sanitizer and the MANAGER closed the slider window on my hand, she said "why are you even here" , very rudely told me to remove my hands off , I was thinking about cancelling my order but I was very hungry coming from work , just be careful with the MANAGER, the food is good thank you to the cook, it's just the attitude this worker had not good. Must agree with the other yelp reviews, this is by far the best sea food in town. Not only is the food great but the prices are very reasonable. How do you pass on $1.00 shrimp tacos? Not only did I have shrimp tacos but I also had their tostada Mixta and it was Amazing! If you cant pay $10.00 for lunch then maybe you shouldn't be eating out. The food was very fresh but lacked flavor. Nothing that couldn't be fixed with lemon, salt and salsa/Chile. But the limón and salt shouldn't have been an issue when you order ceviche. read more
