Couple of things that led me to give this review. 1st. The aguachiles were $60, we asked for pulpo with it.. crazy expensive for not being good. The limes that were provide were greenish, yellowish with a hint of brown. I'm sure those are the limes they used for the aguachiles.. it definitely gave it a bad taste. 2nd. Bad service, they won't come unless you ring the bell 3rd. Upon payment they said only cash is accepted.. they said we can use their atm but their atm is set to a max of $40 which would have us do 4 different transactions with a fee of $4/5 each. We asked if there is Zelle or if they accept Apple Pay and they said no. We refused to use the atm so we asked to speak to the owner for us to Zelle. She then took out the device for us to use the our debit/credit card. 4th. She asked if we'd like to still leave gratuity although the service was poor. Hubby and I always order the same dishes: My order is a tostada de ceviche de camaron and pulpo and my hubby's camarones a la diabla plate. We won't change our order cause we like it so much. Rincon is BYOB, so we'll stop by at the liquor store on Whittier, buy a six pack or tall cans and bring them with us for dinner. No complaints here! Customer service is horrible. I bought 3 caldos here and some empanadas to go. The total was more than $ 80. One of the caldos had a fly in it . I had delivered this caldo to my brother. When I called the restaurant. The front lady Said she would only replace it, if a brought the caldo back. " because the owner would want to see it" Instead, of being apologetic about the situation. It is definitely not fancy but great seafood if you order the "langostinos" al mojo de ajo! They are really good just consider that the order takes about 15-20 minutes to cook .... So call ahead if you are in a hurry ! They have Tvs so it's great whenever there is a soccer game on ;) read more

I have been to this restaurant 3 times in the last 2 years. The last time was two weeks ago, 7/17. Food: cheese and shrimp empanadas never disappoint. The shrimp cocktail is delicious. The patas de mula (scallops) are really good as well as the agua chiles. Sarandeado fish is edible but it just tastes like lemon. There's not much meat in it, it's a bit dry, plus it took 30 min after everyone finished eating to get to the table. My dad saw all of us eat before he got his fish. So order before getting here or ask them to bring all the food out at the same time. I'm from Nayarit and I've eaten sarandeado with salsa huichol only; the best! They make it better at Mariscos Nayarit in Lynnwood. En gustos se rompen generos, como dice mi madre. The service is a hit and miss. I met the lady owner this last time and man is she bitchy. Maybe she was frustrated because it was packed and we were questioning her about their so called casuelitas while she was at the register. Instead she just kept saying NO we couldnt order it hot. It took our waitress to come and tell us almost whispering why we couldnt get it hot. We've had these in many other restaurants which is why we always order it hot. I do like one of the waitresses, I always thought she was the owner but it turns out she is the sister. She is very attentive. For some reason though we didn't get her this last time. The owner which happens to be the chef wasnt in that day :/ he is so cool, talkative, and attentive as well. The food I like from here is 5 stars, the customer service from the chef and his sis in law 5 stars, BYOB 5 stars!!! But combining service from the rest of the women here and the place itself it goes down to a 3. Here's why- it is a very small place and it has no ac which sucks on a hot summer day! In addition, it has 2 small dirty restrooms right behind the kitchen , and the smell of the trash - rotthen seafood  (empty shrimp boxes) & empty beer cans/bottles in the back entrance is not appealing whatsoever. If you love seafood and don't mind a hole in the wall then this is your place. Again it's a hole in the wall so don't expect it to look super nice. But if you want good seafood and a place where you can bring your own beer this is it. Yes they will allow you to bring your own beer and even put it on ice for you on your table. The place is really small but that's what I like about it. Most of the times that I go is never crowded.
