I came here on a weekday with one of my girlfriends…read more For drinks we both had the Rainbow Sherbet. ($18 - Hangar 1 Mandarin Blossom Vodka, cold-pressed pineapple juice, fresh raspberry purée, lime juice fresh mint topper). I'm not a big drinker and am a fan of drinks that you can't really taste the alcohol and this was great. It was a fun to drink and was refreshing. For our entree my friend had the Fish & Chips. ($27 - Crispy haddock fillet, sea salt fries, tartar sauce, grilled lemon). I tried a piece of her fish and it was thinly battered, soft, and flavorful. I usually try to stay away from fried fish like this just because places use way too much better or the fish gets super oily but they was not the case with their fish & chips. You can tell they use quality ingredients. I had the 4 piece Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice. ($34 - Fresh ahi, dynamite sauce, wasabi tobiko, togarashi, toasted sesame). Oh my goodness was this delicious. This is usually something you'd eat as an appetizer but eating it alone is a meal in itself. Yes, it's pricey BUT it is totally worth it. Saint & Second is an upscale dining experience. Their food delivers to that level as well. I highly recommend if you're looking for a new date night spot or something intimate with friends. You can really taste the freshness of all the ingredients they use.

However, in my two most recent visits, only the atmosphere has remained a highlight -- the service has declined significantly. My most recent visit was two nights ago, on Father's Day, for a celebratory dinner. Our server was curt and unwelcoming throughout the meal. When my glass of wine arrived, the server suggested I taste it first -- which I did -- and it was immediately apparent that the wine had turned. Having ordered the same wine many times before without issue, I was confident this particular bottle was off. When I asked our server if the bartender could open a fresh bottle, she agreed without hesitation. However, moments later, a gentleman I assumed to be the manager approached and informed me that a new bottle would not be opened, as the current one had only been opened the day before and was, in his opinion, fine. His only alternative was to offer the same varietal at a higher price point. I understand that restaurants may have policies regarding open bottles, but in all my years of dining out, I have never encountered an establishment that refused to replace a glass of wine a guest found unacceptable -- especially when the server herself had encouraged me to taste it for that very reason. This experience left a lasting negative impression, and unfortunately I will neither return nor recommend this restaurant going forward.

Majority of the people sat inside. We opted for outside which there was another guy already there. It did take a little while till we got served. Didn't know if it was better to go back inside to order or just wait till he saw us. It was a little wait but he did finally come outside to take our order. Just a simple beer this visit. Normally we opt for their cocktails which has always been nice. But beer list, they only had one on tap. I don't know if it's the only beer they have available period. We did overhear someone asking about the cocktails and if they could make it less sweet. But found out that they're premixed. The area is quite beautiful outside with the flowers overflowing at the bar. Nice outdoor patio with covered tables seating. There used to be a nice tree right in the middle but has been removed, maybe it died. There's also a nice water feature. Between inside or outside, outside was nicer in my opinion. Inside is more of a bar experience. And the bartender was sweet and friendly.

Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and gave good recommendations, which made ordering easy. The drinks were good and definitely not watered down. My only critique is that I wish the portions were a little larger for the price. Overall, it was a solid experience, and I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area. I was searching for an elegant dinner spot on yelp and this place popped up. After seeing some pics of the food and the ambience, I quickly made the rezzy and my wife and I were on our way. As you come in, it's like you enter another world -- one of elegance and beauty. You can't help but notice perfect ambient lighting and modern vibes throughout the inside dine-in area and as you enter their huge gorgeous backyard patio, you just know that you're in the right place. The seating area there is massive, with very modern finishes and towards the rear of the patio you have the most beautiful water feature piece, that looks like a human-size vase, with water running down the vase and being met by fire at the base. Just one incredible architectural piece that creates that posh, contemporary ambiance. After taking in the breathtaking design of the spot, we finally sat down and ordered food. We tried the tuna tartare, squash blossoms appetizer and my wife got a seabass entree while I got their highly recommended vodka pasta. All of the food was absolutely incredible, from the freshness of tuna tartare, uniquely wonderful flavor profile of the squash blossoms , to the yummy vodka lumaconi pasta and the most mouth-watering seabass that I've ever tried in my life. I honestly never thought a fish could taste so good. The seabass was charred on the outside and just incredibly soft on the inside. As you barely touch the seabass with the fork, a piece of succulent seabass gets separated simply due to the natural gravity of the fork. The taste is perfect. It's like they somehow cooked it with large piece of butter on the inside. The incredible flavor profile and the consistency of each bite of this seabass, were simply unparalleled. And to add to all this awesomeness, the bed of risotto was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic as well. To finish off our meal, we decided to share their apple tart pastry and it too, was fresh, flavorful and that scoop of ice cream on top, made the pastry just perfect. This place hits a perfect trifecta, with its phenomenal modern design , incredible food and absolutely superb customer service. Our waiter Zach was extremely nice, helpful, attentive and he was just a perfect guide throughout tonight's culinary adventure. My wife and I are more than satisfied and can't wait to come to Casalena again!

The live band and background singers were amazing as well. There is plenty of street parking available. There's a chef providing food (I believe it rotates every week but I'm not sure). When I was there they had offerings like fries and wings. The garlic parm fries I tried were tasty and I wanted more. The bar was simple but the bartenders worked pretty fast. We ordered drinks 3 at a time so we wouldn't have to get up again and they were very efficient. I tried their margarita which was decent and not overly sweet. Don't worry I'm not a raging alcoholic, it was more so out of respect for the performer. They discourage walking around during the performances so everyone can see and enjoy no matter w The space itself is nice offering you indoor and outdoor space. The delicate hanging lights and plants are a nice touch, and the colorful lighting toward the stage area was very vibey. They also had hookah available, I'm not sure the cost. There's also a small digital Photo Booth at the entrance. The performances were great and so was the crowd. I'd love to come back another time and try more of the food and hear more live music. I loved it. This event has now moved to Andaz in West Hollywood

Loved the happy hour here, where you can get good food and drinks for a good price!…read more I came by to check out their happy hour Friday afternoon around 4 pm and it wasn't too crowded. Happy hour is offered daily 3-6 pm and 9 pm to close and includes both food and drink specials. They also offer all day specials on Tuesday for Taco Tuesday. I had the LP margarita for $9 off the happy hour menu. It was a pretty good margarita! We started with their complimentary salsa. I was very happy to find that it wasn't spicy but still very flavorful. I'm a picky eater and usually don't like restaurant salsas, but this was right up my alley. We then shared an order of their guacamole ($8.25 hh), cachetada ($6.25 hh), and a couple of tacos ($4.25 each). The guac was amazing as well, made with ripe avocados and just the right amount of salt and flavor. It comes with a giant plate of chips which were still warm from the fryer. I just wish there was more of it! For the tacos, I tried the ribeye, the gochujang carnitas (monthly special), and the regular carnitas. The regular carnitas was by far my favorite. The gochujang was okay but I personally found it too sweet, and the ribeye was a bit bland. I didn't try the cachetada as it was way too cheesy for my personal tastes, but I would recommend getting this if you like cheesy foods. My friend said it was like eating cheese straight up.

Today we went for brunch, our first time. Awhile back the restaurant mailed BOGO free brunch cards to households in the area, and since this was the 2nd to last weekend to use, we went. Came in a little after 11, not very busy (The Vineyards tend to get very busy later in the day on weekends) I order a Spicy Watermelon Passion Fruit Agua Fresca - it was good, but the Watermelon was so overwhelming it was hard to taste the passionfruit. My mom had the breakfast tacos (not pictured) which she liked a lot, I had the avocado toast and added ahi tuna. The toast may look small at first, but was very rich and filling. I will say I was surprised to see the tuna in lox-like strips, but maybe that's because I'm used to ahi tuna either seared or in chunks poke style. All in all, a very nice experience. I think i wanna go back and try the pancakes.
