Service is horrible, we came in and waited over an hour as customer were Coming in and getting their food before us. The hours of operation say 11am, we were here at 12 and they weren't open. It's too bad cause the food is good. I can't wait til the restaurant next door opens. Alux is gonna blow them out of the water! Obviously they had to catch our seafood from the ocean. It was our first time going there, let me tell you that my expectations weren't high at all. But after tasting the agua chile. OMG it was delicious and I have not had anything tasting like this. It's hard finding a place that can serve you fresh seafood and all the great tasting flavors. The service was fantastic and very friendly, I can sure recommend this place 100%. The environment was nice and quiet and very welcoming. We live a bit far from it but let me tell you that the 45min drive was worth it. read more

TRASH. I love mariscos this place has disappointed me twice, First and second time shame you 3rd time shame on me. The food is bland and not made with pride. The food is usually great. This time around there was a strong STRONG smell of ammonia. We told them something about it to get whatever it was off of our plate because tasting the octopus on its own, tasted good. Tasting the cooked shrimp on its own tasted good also. The plate I got had a little bit of everything, I just wanted to get whatever was bad out of my plate. Instead an older tall lady with short hair made it seem as if we were greatly insulting them. Also made it seem as if I was lying. I even asked some other people sitting there if I was the only one smelling that nasty smell, and they also agreed with me. Yet she was so offended. She did not offer another plate and she also did not offer any type of great customer service. Actually it was the poorest customer service I have experienced. She made me feel as if I was lying. She made me feel pretty stupid actually, but when others agreed with the smell of my plate she was even more offended. I told her to smell herself, she said she could not smell anything. Everybody else can smell it except her. She was so rude about it. I was not saying it to offend anybody, I just wanted it off my plate. Sad because I love my tostada embarazada and bad customer service is the worst. She really said we didn't have to pay and that we can leave, then she left. It was a cashier that offered us another plate without the seafood that we thought was what was bad. We ended up paying for our play, although it continue to taste just a little weird not full on bad like the other one. Mariscos are so fresh! They do not have any hot dishes only cold mariscos. I am very particular when it comes to seafood. I had a mixto cocktail... by far one of the best I've ever had. I could taste the freshness. Location was clean and staff was friendly. Order for two people 2 mixto cocktails and 2 large bottled cokes total was $58. Worth every penny! 2 stars is being a tad generous. It wasn't busy at all, my husband and I went with my sister and brother in law and I took my toddler. -no kids menu, so they recommended a tostada (bowl) of cooked shrimp and cucumber.. - I ordered a tostada Embarazada which comes with jaiva (imitation crab) but didn't tell me they were out and would substitute it for fish, cooked octopus, cooked shrimp and aguachile (shrimp cooked in lime juice), and callo de hacha (ax callus) and they also didn't add that in there or didn't let me know they were out if they in fact were?? -sister in law ordered a tostada de jaiva(imitation crab) they brought her a fish one. Again didn't let us know. -the micheladas tasted like they had no beer and were all salt,Tajín and sauces with ice. - both my husband and brother in law ordered a shrimp cocktail and they thought it was ok but had to add extra condiments for flavor. They liked the fact that they came in a bowl. Service was slow and the waitress was no where to be found at times. They only take cash but have a sign that says "visa accepted - wallet pay" I don't think I would come back here. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I really liked it and can't wait to go back. The shrimp was obviously not farmed and was perfectly cooked. Just perfect. They accommodated my tomato allergy. Everything was fresh- especially the cucumber and avocado. The Jamaica drink was refreshing. You can drive by and miss the place. Like the tardis- it is small on the outside, but inside big comfortable booths and well air conditioned. We were cool on a day it was 105 outside, and we were comfortable and could have stayed longer for Micheladas. read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE! When you walk in NO ONE greats you or acknowledges you what so ever! There's only 1 waitress there and she has a horrible attitude! She is so rude and doesn't know how to treat people! We got our food and the whole entire time nobody comes and checks on us or even asks us if we need the check. We had to go and get it ourselves. If they can't handle a lot of business and traffic in their restaurant then they should hire more help who are more polite and attentive to your their guests. I would NOT recommend this place to anybody AT ALL! read more

Never had a problem with the employees, service or food. I especially enjoyed the "ceviche" and the "aguas chiles," delicious! If you ever had bad service its probably because you were a f*ck'n a55hole with an entitlement attitude.
