This is me asking them to remove my event. They ignored it and even posted MORE after -- completely unprofessional.

This venue is a disaster. Bathrooms were filthy and unstocked, furniture was dirty and mismatched, and the drinks had BUGS in them. The "owner" hovered at my event like an uninvited guest, cut our time short, and ignored every concern. Even worse -- after I told him not to, he still used MY decorations, setup, and music to promote his venue as if it was his work. That's dishonest, disrespectful, and predatory. Dirty, unsafe, and run by a scammer with zero professionalism. Avoid this place at all costs.

Sonoran style fish taco special was delicious . Thank you to chef Roberto and to Zuri for excellent service..Our second time here. Festive decor and ambiance. Hidden gem in El Monte off Main Street. Park across the street. The menu mainly features seafood, but they also have enchiladas that you can order and chile verde. They're super flexible so I was able to get shrimp and made enchiladas rather than chicken. I plan to come back and try their shrimp tacos next and their ceviche.

Botana, not fresh tasted refrigerated for days

Honestly has high expectations and was very disappointed. Came on a Friday afternoon, just 1 family in restaurant, sat myself down.. after no one came to greet us. Finally a waitress came by rushing to take our order. We asked for water, a botany and tacos to start, but tacos gobernador had nothing special at taste.. in need of some salsa to compliment. We had a botana de mariscos, also not great, seafood did not taste fresh. Honestly our of everything I ate only the salsa given with chips at first was the only decent thing I tasted. We got regular water in very small cups and were charged for basic tap water.. had I know the charged would of asked for bottle. I also ordered a paloma that basically tasted of nothing but squirt.. couldn't even taste alcohol. Service was rushed and bad even though it was empty.. only checked on us once. Waitress seemed upset when asked for water refill. Another family showed up when we were only couple left in restaurant and they told them it would be a 40 min wait... ridiculous it being empty. Apparently thye had an event at back of restaurant which is why they seemed to busy to have staff in restaurant.. but if you can't handle both, then why have the restaurant open. Will never come back, nothing was great. Surprisingly they are still open.. go anywhere else, believe me you'd be better off.

Great place!! Food and drinks were amazing. We came in for a painting event it was so much fun, great way to spend your Friday night with friends and family. Service was great too.

My wife and I came here on a Saturday night and there were maybe about 3 other tables occupied. There was live music which was great. We didn't see anyone working so we sat ourselves in a booth and patiently waited for someone to take our order. Ended up ordering the botana la palma and ceviche de pescado. About 5-10 minutes later we were informed there were no more fish for the ceviche, so we decided to go with shrimp instead. The service was a bit slow or non existent. Maybe because the restaurant was hosting a paint&sip on the other side and required the waitress' attention. Nonetheless the food was amazing! Seafood tasted fresh and full of flavor. Where it went a bit wrong was when we got our bill. I typically just double the tax for a 20% tip, but didn't realize until afterwards that 1. The tax was off and 2. We got the wrong bill. The botana la palma was $25 and ceviche i believe was around $19, but was charged $25 for sashimi de atun azul. The tax was only $2.49 so our tip was unfortunately lower than intended (sorry, I was tipsy). My fault for not checking, but I was in a rush. Overall, would definitely come back, but will double check my bill.

First time here, looks nice inside peaceful, The greet you with chips & salsa. Quick to bring the drinks Dalia gave us amazing service made sure we didn't need anything, The food was 10/10 even the chicken nuggets and fries were 10/10!! The ambiance was 10/10 Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

These two pictures are from two different times i went to this restaurant. First off the service was amazing i was immediately greated by the owner of the restaurant reall energetic and super nice guy. My Server Isabella was really nice and sweet and was constantly checking up on me to make sure i was satisfied. The first time i ordered an alcoholic drink called La Santa Recommended by the owner and boy was i satisfied. When it came down to the food the Ranchera Steak was so worth the money as soon as i took that first bite it just melted in my mouth like butter it was literally just a burst of flavor that chimichurri sauce was on point Second Visit This time that i went to the restaurant there had been a change in there menu but boy o boy was i amazed the milanesa de pollo was so good. So much flavor and the crunch was just amazing. A plate like this and including drink for 13.99 dammmm such a great price I Would tottally recommend anyone to come and eat here and the drinks are really good the second time i tried a drink called blue magic omg was it so delicious couldn't taste the alcohol but boy is that the dangerous part cause i went through 3 of them and got tipsy but over all 10 out of 10 best restaurant food wise and best service in my opinion. They host a paint night! If your into oldies and painting with a little bit of drinks alone or with a partner, make sure to sign up for paint night only 40$ per person. ! First timer but the drinks are amazing the ambiance is great and i can only imagine what the food will taste like! Definitely will be returning. read more

Mom and I went for brunch they have a big variety of different meat dishes chili colorado and chili verde fajitas and another pork dish that I don't know what it is and of course rice and beans tortillas and they even serve alcoholic beverages the waitress is very beautiful and friendly the last time we were here she helped my mom walk to the restroom they even have the music going for 10.99 the brunch was awesome brunch closes at 3:00 and then they reopen for dinner at 5:00 read more

Came for Father's day 2023 and we were the first ones here and they gave us a complimentary tri tip! The service was great the location was amazing with a dj that played great music! Food was amazing, the buffet was top quality and they never rushed us to leave! We got complimentary shots as well! Loved the place and will be back again for sure! read more

I was just here this past Sunday. Had the Botana la Palma (I think), I would describe it as a Mexican Sashimi plate. It was delicious, the black aquachile was exquisite. Meh!!! was not impressed by the least. This place is too overpriced paid $53 for two shrimp tostadas the ceviche. the taste was not all that had a refrigerated taste and more importantly hardly any shrimp mainly onions and cilantro, and they only gave me two packs of crackers and one pack of tostadas was really upset. Should have checked my bag before I left. The place is really small inside and parking was not available. I had to park in the back and walk a ways down. I definitely would not come here again would not recommend it. The reason I give it two stars is because the waiter was friendly. Thats it, and I'm being very generous. read more

She described the food, the prizes, and the fun - wow! Let's go! Parking on the street was easy. We arrived before the lunch crowd, so several tables were available. Afterwards, the place was packed in the colorfully decorated and festive atmosphere! Service was attentive, friendly, and helpful! The Taco Tuesday deal was great! We got pollo, papa, al pastor, and carnitas tacos for $1.56 each, and a carne asada taco for $2.56! Everything was tasty and beautiful! I also enjoyed a generous, refreshing horchata! After reading some great reviews, I still came here to support this biz. Luckily, I got free street parking. I'm not sure if they have their own parking though. They do have tables and chairs outside and inside for dining. It's small space was a bit dark due to the dark furniture. They weren't super busy with only a handful of tables preoccupied. Staff was friendly and amicable. They I did take-out instead of dine-in. Menu had good selections of different entress. Since mole with chicken was a highlight dish at the event, I decided to get it with one Iced Jamaica drink. Wait time was a bit long which I find odd because they weren't super busy. Maybe they make their chicken to order. Who knows. Chicken was super moist! Mole sauce was not overpowering with spices which I enjoyed very much. Rice could have been fluffier. Black beans was a bit plain... wished it had more flavor. Jamaica drink was very light in taste unfortunately... I should have gotten it with no ice. I may return to give them another chance to WOW. I came back on a separate day to offer my patronage and support. Parking is plentiful. Interior has an old school look and feel to it. Quite nostalgic! Very clean, but not very bright. House bowling balls were old, dirty, and chipped. They may want to invest in some new balls. Their bowling games were $9.50 per game that Saturday night. I ended up not bowling. I would love to return to take advantage of their Early Bird Special at $4.75 per game which is a great deal from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM on the weekend. League rate is $5.00 per game which is a steal, too (please note league must be hosted by Action Lanes to qualify). Bowling shoes are $5.00 per pair which isn't bad, but I have my own shoes so I don't need them. Please check out their other rates and promos online. When I was here, I had a wonderful conversation with Caleb. He was working behind the counter. He was super friendly and nice. He gave me the scoop on which nights have leagues and when it was best to come here for best deals. Thanks Caleb! I didn't want to leave without supporting them. There's a boba shop inside the bowling alley, but they were closed at the time. I ended up buying one A&W Rootbeer from the vending machine. It wasn't a lot, but it was something. Quite a refreshing drink! I love bowling so I'll definitely be back to bowl for sure. Thanks Action Lanes!

This has got to be the most horrible service EVER!!! I contacted them First on A Friday to look for…read morespecific Tickets and they said to come in on Saturday before 5, I went in at 3 and I knocked and nobody answered, so I called them and they said they left early to go to a "Dodger game" I was like "okay can I come in On Monday?" and they even made me an appointment on Monday for the same time, at 3! I went on Monday at 3, and they weren't there for my appointment. At this point, I was already frustrated with their horrible customer service and not being there when they said they were. So I called them again the following Friday to see if I can go in that day and they said "i'll call you back, let me just step out to lunch" they never called me back. I waited till Monday to call them AGAIN and at this time I got fed up and told them about their bad customer service. They said they would call me back AGAIN and never did. HORRIBLE Customer Service! so today I left a comment on their Ig page that I followed, and I guess they got mad and blocked me because I complained? dont companies, especially small businesses want to do better? So, DO better instead of blocking me on IG for trying to buy tickets and support my local "business" DO NOT buy from them! they're probably a scam anyway and just take your hard earned money. Id rather go back to Ticketmaster or Stubhub and pay twice the amount.
