had 4 carne asada tacos. shoulda asked for a little more lime, but i was lazy haha. they were delicious. juice bar meant healthy fruit juice mixes and that's great, because i almost never eat enough fruits. it's also a great place to eat/wait if you're at the local DMV and you've got B352 and they're only barely serving number B121. i'd give them a 5 star rating if their chips and salsa and attentiveness was a bit better, but this place is pretty good. read more

I am a big fan of mariscos and have been to so many Mariscos places I forgot to count. I always passed by this place and figured hey i will give it a shot it has good ratings on yelp. So I go with a friend, he orders a Coctel de Camaron and a Tostada and I order Camarones Costa Azul (bacon wrapped shrimp) and both were probably the worst I have eaten in recent memory. Since I did not eat the Coctel or Tostada (they both look wack) I will talk about the Camarones Costa Azul. They were burned and they used the tiny shrimp. They did not have cheese inside. It was like 6 small pieces of shrimp with bacon. It came with a side of beans and rice and both were layered so thin you would think they were spreading them on a tortilla or something. I did see a coupe people eating Shrimp Tacos. Those might be good. Who knows. I tried it to see what all the hoopla was about and was dissapointed at how wack the food was. I wonder if its because it seems like its the only one around here that people give it so much credit? ? ? And its like eh its the only one around so we might as well eat it? this cash-only authentic mexican restaurant has the best shrimp tacos in town. 20 bucks is good enough for 2, or maybe 3 people. it's pretty small and hard to find but that's what makes this place special. the taco is pretty warm and crunchy and they put much shrimp to my surprise. for $2, i expected less shrimp but i was wrong! i enjoyed my stay and will come back. Came here with some good friends and it had been suggested to me to indulge the Shrimp Tacos. Out of curiosity, I asked what else they may have offered, and was quickly scolded not to deviate from the plan. "You come here to get Shrimp Tacos and nothing else!" I obliged. What transpired was exactly what you'd expect, a few tacos on your plate that were your typical fare but with shrimp rather than red or white meat or fish. I could only tell you at first impression that, as a "taco enthusiast" who has tried many different offerings of the taco; these tacos were a refreshing take on something we all love. I've lost count on the many times I've had chicken, asada, carnitas, fish etc., though not shrimp all that often or at all. I could only say that I liked it, liked how this place does them, and want more. It's amazing that other places don't offer these or specialize in them. The location is nothing to brag about and very nondescript, you could easily pass by and not know this place has some really good fare. Inside is nothing fancy either. Although, there is something to be said about a place that doesn't try to be more than the customers they cater to and concentrate on what's coming out of the kitchen rather than the decor. To be honest, I can't even remember what it looked like inside other than wasn't really impressed or it resembled the typical taqueria I've been inside of many times over. Camarones de la Diabla is a very spicy shrimp plate with rice and beans-eat it taco-style with the tortillas-very good. Shrimp tacos are authentic Mexican-a favorite here. Shrimp tacos, fish burrito, enchiladas- all delicious! I come here often and the food never disappoints, but do be aware that the service can be quite slow. There is often only one waitress working at a time. She takes all orders, brings out the food, works the register, AND cleans the tables.
