So happy I found this place, truly such a gem. There are a couple tables inside and outside on the sidewalk and the inside is beautifully decorated. I ordered two ham and cheese, one potato and cheese, and one corn. All of them were incredible, the best empanadas I've ever had. The owner is also a pleasure to talk with. Overall a very welcoming place with delicious food! Can't wait to come back!

We so much love going to Empanada's Place. We have been going for years and it never disappointments. The owner is usually there, but all of the staff is the best. They will tell you everything you need to know. The place is so cute with a little gift area and cool photos and art on the walls. There is limited seating indoor and out. We have done it all, but we tend to just get a dozen empanadas and take them home. They are close to us. They don't stay open late so get there before 6 pm. The service is fast and the place is always ever so clean. They treat all customers like family and appreciate the business. They make all types of empanadas and some are mild and some are pretty spicy. They are great for gatherings of friends or holidays. They also have great sandwiches. You will love this place and they will love you.

Cozy little restaurant near corner of Venice blvd & Sawtelle in the west la area, street parking in front and adjacent neighborhood. They take Apple Pay. Few tables outdoors if you'd like to enjoy outside. Food is amazing for the empanadas chicken, beef, spinach, spicy, and Arab. Delicious!!! The darling gentleman who helped me Rocco was super nice, helped me with suggestion. Made to order empanadas. Highly recommend!

A true hidden gem for Argentinian empanadas! The place itself is filled with so much history and the staff is so kind! The empanadas are the best I've had on the West side. I had the ham and cheese and spicy beef and both were amazing with the salsa they gave on the side. Will be coming back whenever I am craving them! Also not pictured but the alfajores are the perfect sweet treat. So good that I got a box! Note that they are cash only!

Amazing empanadas, my favorite in the states (other than mom's homemade of course!). I always make a point to stop by and grab some when I am in the area. Truly large empanadas with hearty and great filling, you really cant go wrong with any flavor. Super cute interior and great service. Would highly recommend to anyone to try!

I grew up eating empanadas argentinas from here as a kid and teenager. It was one of my faves. Empanadas are still very good but they completely jacked up the price they're not even that expensive back in NYC. For 4 empanadas we paid 28 bucks. Anywho the criolla one is still my favorite super delicious you also get a mild sauce that comes to add to them.

Another great meal at empanada place give it a try I had the beef empanadas once again to go very tasty. Nice and crispy ingredients are great.

I loved the Argentine empanada I ate in Miami so much that I Googled to find a similar place in LA, and I found one. Empanada's Place is a small shop on Sawtelle at Venice Blvd that has been there since 1985! It's a charming spot, and you instantly feel you're no longer in the United States. The host/manager/owner is a lovely, hospitable man. I ordered a beef empanada, hoping it would be good. It certainly was. He also treated me to a fresh, delicious cookie called ALFAJOR, for dessert. While waiting for my empanada, I looked around the quaint little cafe and stopped by the shelves showcasing items from Argentina. Something caught my eye, but I wasn't sure what it tasted like, so I asked the host how they eat it, what they eat it with, and if he had an open one in the kitchen I could try. OMG! It was heavenly, and I bought a jar on the spot. It's called San Ignacio Dulce de Leche, and I included a picture in case you're a fan of caramel and would love a milk caramel spread. I will have a jar in my fridge from now on. Overall, this charming cafe fully delivers on an authentic taste of Argentina, and I highly recommend it!

The go to for the best empanadas around - been coming here for over 30 years and it's hardly changed from the food to the decor - but why should it - the empanadas are still cooked to perfection - piping hot fillings and perfect crunchy outside fried doughy pockets. And the secret dipping sauce, gosh I think I could just drink that stuff it's soo good. Each one is quite a good size but I like to eat two. This place is like a time warp and never disappoints! Come! Enjoy!!

Match this with some tea and coffee and you're in for a delightful morning to start your day. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and welcoming. I met Andrea and she's a sweet hardworker. I appreciate her and her family for bringing Filipino goods in this part of Los Angeles. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Great selections, fair prices, and a pleasant experience. I dig how United Bread & Pastry is representing the Filipino community. I'm sure Silver Lake has evolved and changed but I'm glad this bakery has remained something consistent, sharing Filipino baking traditions to familiar faces and new visitors. Best wishes to Andrea and the rest of the De Guzman family with their business. #RepresentAZN #FilipinoFoodMovement TIPS * Don't leave without trying the turon or a fresh bag of pandesal!

Here you will find Tita Andrea and family who have been baking up sweet Filipino treats. As the name suggests, there are many bread and pastries available for sale. However, there are much more than that. The display case is lined with delicate meringues, buko (coconut) pies, meat pies (empanadas), egg pies, and a bunch of other pastries and sweet breads. This long-standing panaderia also has Filipino staples for sale like ube (halaya), shrimp paste (bagoong), smoked fish (tinapa), duck embryo (balut), and so much more. Of course, this is my go-to spot for turon (fried banana rolls w/ jackfruit). The family always serves their customers with a smile. It's a a familiar feeling and customary of Filipino culture to welcome in their home, in this case, the store. Come check out this place when you're in the area and support a local family-owned business.
