They have live music but it's extremely LOUD. Can't really talk to the people at your table and it's even difficult to place your order with the waiter. Literally had to yell. Service could also be improved. Our food did not come out at the same time. Cold dishes came out first and the hot dishes came out later. My mom and I got the shrimp tostada which we got and FINISHED before my sister got her tacos. Then, my sister was about half way done with her tacos when my dad finally got his entree. Food tasted decent but nothing memorable.

Came here based on a word of mouth recommendation. Glad I didn't miss it. The restaurant was busy but we were seated right away. The servers took a bit longer than we would have liked to get our drink orders and then to return to get our food order, but they were busy running around and we weren't in any hurry so it was fine. They have a variety of food options and an assortment of seafood choices which was great. Some food choices took a while to come out so everyone's food wasn't brought out at different times. One person almost finished their dish before the last dish was brought out. They had also messed up on one order but it was fine because they corrected it. They had a live band performing music which was great. The decor along with the banda made me feel like I was back in Mexico. I would definitely return here when visiting Vegas

Just yum yum yum. This place never disappoints. Food and drinks. The entire ambiance of it. Service was quick. Well it was during the week but still.

I walked in to a beautiful restaurant, expecting good food but instead was served dirty muddy oysters and thick weird mango michelada. The server only gave us 1 fork to eat with (there were 2 of us) and had to be asked multiple times for water. The best part of the experience was the decor which made me feel like I was on vacation in Mexico but the food made me feel like Montezuma's revenge was an absolute certainty. There are no prices on the menu. They are available online but the drinks are not included. I was very surprised to pay Las Vegas strip prices for drinks $8 for a Modelo and $15 for a Michelada that was mostly mango purée (I had to add a second beer to be able to even drink it and it did NOT improve the taste). I do have to say the Camerone Imperial was decent but not worth the hefty price tag.

My mother Lolo used to work at Las Islitas. It is my favorite restaurant. After we hit the lottery and won the $470 million dollar jackpot, we still continued to come to Islitas. The tortas still bring me back to my childhood as a mixed martial artist, forced to fight under the bright lights of the Tijuana illegal fighting arenas. Mom would work and bring home leftovers that were SOOOOO good. Much better than the mole the old ladies next to the river used to feed us. Occasionally, we would go in and eat the chips and buy posole or the large camarones. The salsa is excellent. One waitress, I think her name was Belinda - she was so nice and she was so fast at getting us water, chips, and whatever we needed. She always called me El Chavvo. Eventually, I returned to the undergound fighting scene, and received a large settlement when an unlicensed promoter had me fight Pablo "Little Ricky" Sanchez hit me so hard that it caused me to go blind in my left eye. I still dawn the shades and head to Las Islitas after Misa to get my favorite Camarones and posole. I definitely recommend this place. Ask for Belinda!

Todo muy bueno, el molcajete de buen tamaño para dos personas, las tostadas de ceviche de camarón están deliciosas.

This menu desperately needs updating. Judging by the prices it's at least 10 yrs old.

There are better places that serve Mexican food. I have heard they love to put newsmax on their TV, which says enough.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like flour taquitos that would cross contaminate gluten free corn tortilla chips? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

If I take the monorail which one is closer or whats the closest station?

The monorail doesn't go off Strip as of 2022. You would have to take a car to get here.

Do they accept credit cards or debit cards?

    They do.

Do they have banda music and if so when?

    Yes, most afternoons

    Do they have micheladas?

    yes

    DOES this place have banda?

Yes they do have a Banda norteño and a mariachi! They take turns between them both and you get the best of both worlds!!! I'm very satisfied with their service and atmosphere! A must when In vegas to cure a cruda (hangover)

It's about a 10-minute drive from the Strip, and I appreciated that they gave an estimated pickup time -- that was awesome. The place looks family-owned, nice and clean, and the hospitality from the staff was top-tier. Now for the burritos We ordered the El-Trio and the Bacon Burrito, and my goodness... these things are HUGE (and the prices is beyond reasonable). We split the bacon burrito between my wife and my high school athlete of a son (who usually eats everything but the kitchen sink), and he only made it through half of the El-Trio! That should tell you something. The burritos were flavorful and packed with meat. The potatoes were seasoned and cooked perfectly, which is such a plus. Honestly, by far the best breakfast burrito I've had. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because my bacon burrito had rice and beans in it, and that wasn't mentioned online. I'm not a fan of rice and beans in a breakfast burrito, so I wish I had known beforehand. Outside of that, please give this place a visit -- definitely a must-try. Sorry, no picture... we started digging in as soon as I opened the bag

During the day you might need to place your order by a stand by the entrance to the kitchen. After a few trips here since my last review I have to admit that this place is HIT or MISS. Honest it is like two different restaurants are in this one spot. All of my lunch visits were horrible. We've experienced the worst service ever and subpar foods. On my last visit we were the only customers in the dining room and we were too much trouble for our server to handle. It took her 25-30 minutes to serve us beverages and chips and salsa. When our meals finally arrived the meats were all dried out and tough in all of the tacos. My salad came out without dressing too. At the same time they had a few to go orders going on and all the people returned their food and asked for their money back. This is so tragic. We previously enjoyed the food and service here our last few dinners. The young male server gives outstanding service and so far the food has also always been good-great at dinner time. Lunch time visits were another story. On both lunch time visits we had female servers that have a language barrier and are not service people. They brought us subpar food too unlike what we tried here at dinner time. I am being generous leaving Asada three stars. I hope it's not too late for improvement. Hit or Miss

I debated between the torta and the tacos, but since this was our first date, I played it safe and ordered the carne asada tacos. At $3.25 each, they're street taco-sized in theory, but the mountain of perfectly seasoned carne asada spilling out of them told a different story. I actually had to ask for a fork just to finish what escaped onto the tray. The tacos came loaded with fresh cilantro and red onions and tasted far more gourmet than their humble appearance suggested. The red and green salsas were both excellent, but the real star was their pico de gallo-style salsa. It had a slightly fermented tang that instantly reminded me of kimchi, and I found myself putting it on everything. This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. Next time, I'm skipping the internal debate and going straight for the torta.

Meat choices include lengua, asada, pastor, buche, birria, pollo, cabeza, and chorizo. You can find them on Craig and Simmons. In the same parking lot as Chevron and Lucky 7's bar. They're grilling meat on site so you can them hot and fresh and it smells delish! I got their 3 birria taco combo that comes with garnish and consommé. Tender meat that's flavorful on its own. Dip it in the consommé and it's just absolutely amazing! Service was friendly and fast. They are proud of the food they serve and it shows. Pricing is very reasonable.
