Came for the Trey Songz concert! Arrived around 8PM and was like fifth in line. The doors were suppose to open at 9PM; they opened around 9:30ish. Once we were out the cold and inside, we got super lucky and got in the front. The worst part was waiting over 3 hours inside with people all on us and the DJ playing the same five songs. Bruh. And we got unlucky being beside nasty and annoying people dropping like three drinks and being obnoxious. It took forever to get the workers attention to clean it up. Finally with Trey coming on, it was a blast. Getting out was crazy, we only got lucky since we left a bit early. So not only was time management terrible, organization didn't go with it either. As we were leaving, we noticed a crowd of people waiting to be seated. It's over 100 degrees, no fans, no water for the waiting patrons. Plenty of seating was available inside. This alone shows the lack of care and pride they put into their "service" . If this is how they treat their waiting customers on a hot day, don't expect much when you are actually seen. read more

This place is very authentic to the point where the servers don't speak much English and there is a live Mexican band that comes around to serenade the tables (for a whopping $10 per song ) So be prepared. Luckily we had my husband (who is fluent in Spanish) with us I wasn't a huge fan of the food. It was just mediocre to me. However the other couple we were with really enjoyed their plates and would go back. Maybe I just didn't try the right plate to get that wow factor. I came into this place in the middle of the week on a very slow night. There is a lot of black and red, this place is huge inside. There are a lot of tables, and there are booths along one wall. We seated ourselves and they appeared with chips and salsa and took our drink order. The chips were thick and hard, the kind that scratch and cut the roof of your mouth, while the salsa was OK, it certainly brings with it the heat. I had the whole fried fish, while the wife opted for a shrimp dish that involved two long skewers of shrimp with veggies. We both had a small "salad" beans and rice. Beans and rice was OK, the "salad" a bagged product, inferior, but that's OK. The food was good, we did not waste any, it was really good. If this review were focused on the food they would have four well earned stars from us. The waiter did not check on us, when we finished we went up to pay. They ran our CC, I added the tip at the tip line, totaled it out and signed the customer copy. Gave it to the employee, who takes my receipt and starts working with the CC machine. I talked to him several times to find out what he was doing (it appeared he was running the charges again), and he ignored me. Over and over I asked what he was doing, he would not answer me. At that point I told him to credit my CC card and void the transaction. At that point I pulled out cash with which to pay. The employee did not want to void the transaction, he had a couple of other people (security and the owner or manager?) come to tell me I was making trouble where there was none. They insisted the Void was not necessary, and urged me to leave it alone, let it be. I have used credit cards for over 30 years in at least 30 states and three countries, and I have always added the tip, totaled the amount and signed the "customer copy" as have EVERYONE who is reading this who has used CC in a restaurant. So I am not the problem. I am unsure what they were up to, if it was or was not sketchy. But of this I am sure= I won't go back, too much bullshit. So I told waiter don't bother with their food we are going to leave to get them food and asked for check and also a discount for my bf' s incomplete plate but still handed him my card only because he said ok he will ask. 20 mins later he came back and charged me full price I asked him about the discount he said he can't do it so I asked for a manager. No manager came but 2 security guards...they then told me that they cannot give me a discount because the rice and beans is only a courtesy like tortillas or chips and salsa. This is when I got heated and told them that their menu does not say that it clearly says it comes with it. They still refused and I just got up and left. The rest of the party followed out shortly because they too had complains and management still did not come out but security kicked them out for causing big scene.
