Stay away from this restaurant. The owners are rude and a bit shady. Last time I was here one of their cooks pretended to be the owner to charge a higher price for a bagel. I asked for one bagel with one side light cream cheese which was 2.75 and requested the other side light peanut butter and they wanted to charge over 6 dollars although their sign said something different.the sign mentioned that it's 1.75 for a bagel with PB&J.... but the cook rudely kept saying I own the place and if I give you the peanut butter it's an additional 1.75 but I get no bagel. Which was confusing because on the sign it clearly mentioned it's 1.75 for the bagel. Just shady!! Also, on more than one occasion I have noticed uncleanliness with how they prepare food. It's a local spot but you are better off going someone different. When I come here I normally stick to very basic things as they do not wash or clean a lot of their food especially salads. read more

I was excited to see a cheeseburger, fries and a can of soda for $6.25 on the board as a special as I passed by at the end of my lunch break. I went in, placed my order w/ cheddar cheese, salt and pepper, mayo and ketchup. Of course with tomato, lettuce and onion. Made it back to my desk opened the box, peeled back the wrapper and immediately regretted ordering a burger from such a bootleg deli. First of all, the circular patty was disrespectful and oddly pale. I knew it was bad but my lunch break was nearing an end so I decided to give it a shot since I already paid for it and it wasn't like I was heading back out to buy something else. First bite I notice the slice of cheddar was so thin, they may as well of left the cheese off of the burger. Second bite, the patty was tasteless and dry and really could've used some flavor. (Nothing like a fresh ground patty) Third bite, disappointment set in as the soupy tomato, mayo, ketchup made a mess of my bread. There was no fourth bite, I threw it in the trash! For what it's worth the fries weren't bad, but what exactly is a "bad" fry? I've eaten here twice before, as I work near by... the first time I ordered something that was very disappointing and caused me to stay away for quite some time. I figured new management, let's just give it a shot... had a decent bacon egg and cheese sandwich, then a few days later the awful burger. I'm pretty sure this is the type of burger patty that is the catalyst for documentaries such as what the health. Just a guess, but I'm willing to bet that it's made out of pink slim and everything that causes cancer and glaucoma. Long story short... Id rather miss a meal before wasting money on/in this place EVER again. Period. Hard pass! read more

Great cafe. Love this place. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the prices are unbeatable. Plus, in a city beset by Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks on every corner (literally, I know of 3 of each within a few blocks from this cafe), it's nice to be able to get something that is made fresh not shipped in via boxes. For breakfast, you can't beat getting an omelette or eggs with hashbrowns. If you're looking for something lighter, they also make bagel sandwiches. Either option is great. If you're looking for something quicker, they always have muffins and breakfast pastries available as well. Lunch/Dinner - Its hard to beat their hot sandwiches. I prefer the Bronx Bomber or the chicken sandwich. Phenomenal. Fries are fries, but their mac salad and pasta salads are really good. Can't say enough good things about this place. read more

This place is amazing! We did the omelets snd the omelet wrap and it was the best eggs I've ever had. I normally don't like eggs but I ate this daily while in town. We also got the home fries which were delicious and seasoned to perfection! read more

Okay.. The delivery very prompt, they are open early and pretty late for a deli in the downtown area, and they have good hero's. The down side has to be the freshness of the bread. It was crunchy and that was not because it was toasted. I like my hero's with more lettuce and with fresh bread. Other than that the Cajun turkey was delicious and even though I had to warm up the brownie it was very tasty. I will be ordering from them again. read more

Great place for lunch and a snack. It's a bit noisy but you can't beat their customer service. Everyone here is extremely nice and helpful. I always get their grill chicken sandwich bc it is healthy and taste very fresh. Ask the cook to grill the onions and mushroom bc their ingredients is extremely fresh. Prices are reasonable too especially considering how healthy your meal is. My grill chicken sandwich runs less than $7 and in a city where almost everything is fried, this place is a gem! read more

Typical deli-coffee shop. Order at counter; coffee is self-serve. Several tables, flat-screen tuned to CNN. They have a "marketcity" wi-fi signal but the counter guy this morning did not know the password. Good coffee, decent breakfast sandwich. Friendly service. I asked for sauce on mines when I noticed they didn't have any. Hit the spot but wouldn't buy again. $10 lunch. This place never came up on Yelp with the basic search. However once we added some fiters that where deli sandwiches friendly along with delivery and distance it narrowed the local list down and wala here we discover Market city. We ordered for delivery our hero of choice and was super impressed that the gentleman imformed us that our ETA would be 15 minutes. To our surprise he was right, 15 minutes later came our delicious fresh heros. Meat was plentiful add ons where fresh and desert was delicious. Would say however the roll wasn't as soft as I would like but it no big deal. It was definitely worth the search and will be added to the list of delivery options. read more

This is a great little spot for any meal. I went here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and was never disappointed. It's your standard coffee shop/deli. I loved how my food was always made quickly. Even if I was in a rush I would always get my food fast. The bagels were always fresh in the morning. I would usually get a turkey, egg white, and cheese on a whole wheat bagel for breakfast. Really good hot food and salads., surprising quality for a cafe. They have cold red bull in the fridge, that is always a plus.

If you've had problems with this place before, I suggest giving them a second chance, as they are under new management. This means that the problems they had before seem to be gone. First of all, the weird and rude woman that was always there in the daytime seems to be gone. I haven't seen her for a while. Secondly, a guy who works in there promised me they'd now start keeping regular hours. Before, you never knew when they'd be open. Sometimes there were there till 9, other times they were gone by 6. But now the guy promised me that they plan to be open M-Sat until 8, and 3 on Sundays. And another thing is, their food is pretty good. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich and was thrilled to see them pull out a pile of raw chicken and grill it right in front of me. Most places that serve chicken breast keep it sitting around already cooked, then they just heat it up when someone orders it, leading to stale, difficult to chew chicken breast. This place makes it fresh so it's nice and hot and tender and juicy when you get it. Love the staff here and the food is delicious. I used to live nearby and my roommate had mentioned that they had the best desserts, so I stopped in just to try out the place and was very glad I did. I've tried the mozarella sticks, the crumb cake, a few other desserts, and a few of their grilled sandwiches- I don't remember the name of my favorite one, but it had mozarella and roasted peppers. And oh my god, it was so good. Don't miss it. But honestly, the highlight of it all was how friendly the employees were. The cashier was so sweet. I thought I was going to be short a dollar and wouldn't be able to get the drink I bought, and she was such a sweetheart and told me that she couldn't have let me eat without a drink and that she would have let me slide. Thankfully, I didn't come up short but even if I had, I would definitely have stopped back in to repay her hospitality. Used to be my favorite place but not anymore. Food comes incredibly fast but it comes undercook. I spoke with the manager regarding the undercooked food and he tried to tell me i'm wrong. Order cheesecake and it was molded. Never again! read more

The woman who answers the phone is disgusting and should not be a representative of your company. She answers the phone like a deplorable human being and I am appalled by the treatment I received today in trying to get an order for delivery which I ultimately did not receive.
