Had to wait in line 20 minutes on a busy Saturday morning but it was worth it! Latte and ricotta toast were delicious and employees were super friendly! There was even an employee who came outside to give us menus while we waited to get inside. Such a cool place and the lattes are great!

The coffee and food was amazing. There is actually no way I would ever wait 45 minutes for a coffee and avacodao toast again though. Especially outside with the sun beating down on me in Newport. It's a touristy must hit though, and has a line for a reason.

Clean nitro, rosemary infused ricotta tomato toast and a chocolate chip cookie. All were exceptional. I didn't want to like this place, it's giving PE, but the food and coffee were all great. If you can, go during the week before 9AM, the line gets long otherwise.

The nitro bar is definitely worth the hype In my opinion! There is always a line but they brought out umbrellas to protect ourselves from the sun:) We did get one wrong drink, but me and my group had a big order so to be honest it's very understandable that it happened. When I told the barista she was very nice and made us a new one right away and we even got to keep the other drink! The drinks we got were blueberry matcha with cold foam, chocolate chip raspberry matcha and chocolate malt latte, these drinks were superrrr goood. I would definitely go again for the blueberry matcha, and I'm not even a big matcha person. We also ordered food and the breakfast sandwich was also great, very tasty. It was my second time at the nitro bar and if I lived close by I would go back way more often:)

We obviously had to stop by Nitro Bar while visiting Newport. The second I realized it was there and that we were actually going to Newport, I immediately added it to my itinerary because I knew I had to try it. Honestly, though, I don't really think it's worth all the hype. I got the Caramelized Banana Matcha, and we also tried a few other drinks. For the most part, nothing really stood out. Everything was fine, but nothing completely blew us away. I will say that my sister ordered a Blueberry Latte, and the blueberry syrup was incredible. Honestly, I think I would have enjoyed my drink a lot more if I had ordered a Blueberry Matcha instead. Overall, everything was just okay. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't think it's nearly as impressive as social media makes it seem.

The pesto bagel was great, hearty portion, and the pesto cream cheese was absolutely fantastic. Their spicy sun-dried tomato cream cheese is also fantastic and the perfect amount of spice. Their coffees are great and staff is friendly, lots of fun and seasonal options, next time would try it less sweet. The whip top is a must try!

This is the coffee bar! The place was packed! Literally a roped off line in front. Once inside people are chatting, laughing, eating, drinking, awesome vibe! The employees are all friendly and cool. I asked the barista for her favorite drink and breakfast item, she ordered me a guacamole everything bagel and an iced chocolate malt latte float, 5 shots of espresso in that thing, Amazing! I was with a bunch of people and everyone got a drink and everyone loved it. We had an awesome time in Newport and The Nitro Bar played a part in that.

I've never seen so many Gen Zers at any one spot at one time. Seems to have a line that reaches outside but it moves relatively fast. Everything did taste high quality and the menu it's unique and interesting. Everything on the menu is also pricey. If you're not in a rush, it's cool place to try and get a drink with flavors you probably never had before. Is it worth all the type it gets, Im not sure of that.

The biggest question is "is it worth the line" and honestly yeah. We waited maybe 30 mins (I wouldn't wait any longer than that). The staff was all nice. They accept Apple Pay. Merch is way too expensive (not worth it). They gave me whip on my latte when I didn't ask for it, so it was WAY too sweet for me and so I didn't finish it, but if they hadn't put any whip on it, it would have been perfect (I also asked for it half sweet). Now the breakfast sandwich was awesome. The perfect amount of arugula so it wasn't over powering and they put the aiolis on the side so you could just put as much as you wanted on it. Would 100% recommend. I would also recommend the lattes but just know if you get a whip or malt it's going to taste like ice cream

This place 100% lives up to all the hype that it gets. The service is amazing and I absolutely loved the matcha. I consider myself a matcha enthusiast and it's pretty clear that the quality is high. I got a matcha latte with carmelized banana flavoring, which I was a bit hesitant about getting initially but it was super yummy. I got here before they opened at 7 & there was already a line! (side note: I'm not sure how parking is here since I walked)

Do not show up on a Saturday around 10 AM or you will wait over an hour for coffee. The coffee was very good, I am not going to lie, but that was quite the wait! They have coffees with this icing type of topper, very tasty but very sweet. If you're with a bach party - this is the spot because we saw about 5 groups of them LOL. Def a spot to stop at if you have time and want a Newport RI trendy coffee moment. There is indoor and outdoor seating, but it is very limited. They also have pastries and what looked like open face bagel sandwiches which looked yummy but we did not try.

I first saw Nitro Bar through social media and loved their seasonal drinks and the variety on the menu. I told myself when I had to opportunity to go to Rhode Island I had to try it. A year later, the opportunity finally came but I was sadly disappointed. We waited about 25 minutes in line which was expected. We tried the caramelized banana latte, whipped cookie butter latte and a chai. The two lattes honestly tasted the same, neither one having any banana or cookie butter flavor, just a generic sweetness to it. The chai was what you'd expect, nothing exceptional. Overall we weren't impressed but I do hope to try other seasonal drinks if I'm ever back in the area

The Nitro Bar is hyped up for the right reasons. I went early Saturday morning when they opened and there was already a line. I ordered a cookie butter latte and a pizza bagel. The cookie butter whip with the cookie crumbles is as delicious as it looks. Inside the cafe, they have sweatshirts, mugs, and bags. They also had a good amount of tables but I can definitely see it being tight when it is peak times. Note that they don't have much parking so walking is your best bet.

Had to try this viral spot. The drinks are unique and the food is pretty good. The salted chocolate cookies is a standout though.

    Good study spot?

I would say so! It's pretty quiet, and even though seating is limited, it's usually not crazy crowded. Also the cookies make great study snacks!

Espresso (straight + mini cortado) The straight was under-extracted, resulting in a noticeable sourness and lack of balance. Not undrinkable, but it lacked the smoothness and depth you'd hope for. The cortado, however, improved the experience--the milk helped round out the acidity and made it far more approachable. Espresso Tonic: This ended up being the standout. It's definitely an acquired taste, but if you enjoy bright, citrus-forward drinks, this works. The subtle sweetness and orange notes complemented the espresso nicely, creating something refreshing and unique--perfect for warmer weather. Reminds me of a Matcha Milkis but with espresso instead. Iced Caramel Latte: A bit too milk-heavy for my preference. The espresso got lost, and while there were faint crème brûlée-like notes and a touch of caramel, the overall profile felt muted and underwhelming. Service: Excellent. One of the drinks was initially forgotten which resulted in me waiting several minutes, but the staff handled it well--quick apology and a complimentary drink chip. That level of accountability goes a long way and stands out compared to many other shops. Ambiance: Relaxed and inviting. The space has a fun, casual vibe with merchandise ranging from hoodies to cards, giving it some personality beyond just being a coffee stop. Overall: There's a strong foundation here. With more consistency in espresso extraction and slight adjustments to drink balance, this could easily be a solid spot.
