The repair work was done timely and correctly, but the initial $342 estimate ballooned to $548, and I had no prior warning, either at drop-off this morning or via phone when I spoke with shop personnel twice after getting an estimate and before today. their explanation - weird part, quoted wrong price, blame Ford for using a prior-year part - didn't satisfy. They admitted that they should've called but all I could get from them for my displeasure at the surprise 50%+ increase was $50 off. The miscommunication is more forgivable than the nonchalant attitude of the two employees I dealt with. I won't be back.

I brought it back asking them to look at it again and explained to them what the problem was. After taking another look at it, they still couldn't find anything. My insurance company suggested that compared to the shiny nice new rental that I got in the mean time my car might just seem to drive differently. I knew this wasn't the case though. There was still something wrong. So I took it to the Saturn Dealer afterward, and they were able to find the problem and fix it no problem. I don't know why this was so hard, but experiences like this lead me to always take my car into the dealer if I want it done right.

This…read morelocation struggles to keep employees and is not afraid to share it, this seems to be their go-to for the reason things are so terrible. It started when I took me vehicle in for the insurance estimate (trip #1 to the shop), the adjuster was adamant that I scheduled when to bring it back as they were already scheduling out so far. I was hesitant due to our extra vehicle having an issue but I scheduled anyway, he said if anything changes to let them know. I took my vehicle on the scheduled day March 25, 2026,(trip #2) go in to drop it off and they do not have me on the books and never ordered the parts. Schedule again to drop it off for April 3, 2026,(trip #3) this time I was able to successfully drop off my vehicle. They call me April 22, 2026(trip #4) and tell me my vehicle is ready for pick-up, I work in Battle Creek, so I hurried home at the end of the day grab my husband and head over to get it. It was about 15 minutes before they closed, I had not really been home and just wanted to get there so I didnt look it over (I have also NEVER had an issue with any of the other repairs I have had done elsewhere). When I got home I actually looked at it, it was terrible work. There were parts ripped and just sat back in, things that should have been repaired weren't, gaps with over a 1/4" difference from side to side (I measured them) and gaps that were just entirely too large. I called the next day and took it back (trip #5). I was told there is no longer a manager at that location and dealt with the "acting manager". He looked it all over, took into the back to make some of the gaps better and tried to get us to "meet him in the middle" on some of the issue. He then said he would get everything ordered and call us the following day. After a month of not hearing anything I called then again, was informed I would have to bring my vehicle in AGAIN for the issues to be looked at as that person was also no longer employed and there was a new manager. Finally, I was able to take me vehicle in again on June 19,2026 (trip#6) yet the manager was not there. I informed the employee that I would not be leaving without a list of the repairs as I would not be doing this step a 3rd time. He was utterly dumbfounded as to what I was asking for! The manager called me the following Monday June 22, 2026 to discuss the issues with me and told me he would be ordering the parts and would call me "tomorrow". I called again July 16, 2026 as I still had not heard anything. As I sit here almost 3 months now from when I initially picked up my vehicle (just short of 5 months from my accident) my vehicle is still not repaired correctly and I do not have a timeline as to when that will occur, I do know I will still have a minimum of 2 more trips to this shop for this one repair!

I called this morning and spoke to Daryl about an issue my son had with his hood latch not…read morereleasing. I live two hours away and my son goes to school in the area. Daryl was very helpful and told me to send my son in this morning. He immediately went to the shop and Daryl was able to fix the problem within an hour from when I first called the shop. Plus he helped at an affordable rate. He had other vehicles scheduled for service ahead of him but he took 5 minutes to look at my sons car to see if it was an easy fix, of which we were lucky it was. My son is a college student with limited funds and probably would have tried to pry it open damaging the latch and therefore making it an expensive fix. But when I called Daryl he was very helpful and understood the situation and told me to send him in. I would recommend Benedict Auto Body and when you call talk to Daryl, he'll take care of you!

We got hit and progressive had them down to use…read more From the start the first person acted annoyed that I wanted to show him my concerns with the car. Then didn't even note the concerns for manager that was dealing with my repairs. I kept saying there was something off with the hood. Every update from them I inquired about the hood. Oh they didn't look at it but will. Got the call the car was done, again I asked about the hood, Kathy stated she didn't see anything on invoice or notes about the hood, so I asked to speak to manager. Then was told oh yeah we adjusted the hood. And then listed hood adjusting on invoice but no cost, which they charged for every other little thing they did or used. Then I inspected it and the hood was still off and had tons of pushing give, makes a large noise and had a huge gap. But was told oh that's normal. Crazy how it didn't do that before getting hit. I will never use them again or ever recommend them. Also going back to progressive to report them! Extremely dissatisfied
