I came to the shoe repair as a last effort to fix a very expensive pair of Louis Vuitton shoes that I had purchased many years prior and have only been able to wear twice because the soul completely came apart from the platform shoe. I explained to the gentleman that helped me that I had attempted to have them repaired at another shop years ago, and it literally came apart the same day. He assured me that he would be able to fix my shoes once and for all, he even with permission asked me if he could open up the bottom of the shoes so he can show me exactly why the first attempt failed. He explained everything in detail where I could understand it, he was very detailed oriented and extremely helpful. My shoes are ready exactly on the day that he had promise and it was worth every penny. I've had no issues with the shoes whatsoever and I definitely plan on bringing more shoes to his shop. Extremely disappointed. Service is overpriced and work was shoddy. Had two pairs of shoes "fixed" here and a battery replaced in a watch for which I was grossly overcharged. I recommend taking your watches to an actual jeweler. On my shoes, you can see the glue, and the work was incomplete when I went to pick up at scheduled time.I cannot recommend this business. Way too expensive for the poor quality of work. Everyone's items are strewn about in this messy shop which is a reflection of how much he cares about customers items. Wish I didn't have to write this review because the owner does seem to be a good guy. But Unfortunately he doesn't back up his work. Motorcycle jacket zippers are made with extra durability. Having more of the same motorcycle jacket for almost 13 years the zipper slide started to give out. In taking the jacket to this man I thought he would understand that. Not a week after getting it fixed I was going down the freeway and my jacket zipper broke open and turned into a cape. I have never known a jacket especially motorcycle jacket to brake open from wind alone. Pretty dangerous. The slide was actually intact when I dropped it off. I was simply looking for an attachment that I could grip. So the replacement parts must've been much cheaper or improperly installed. I took the jacket back to him today and he offered $5 off a replacement. Even if he had offered to replace it out of good faith, I would have been hesitant to receive another faulty repair. If anyone knows a good company that can repair a motorcycle zipper please don't hesitate to respond. read more

All he did was put a zipper on one of the two broken tracks, and when I asked him why he didn't fix both he said I never asked him which it's clearly broken and I told him to please fix it. $30 for one zipper replacement is absurd.. then proceeded to tell me $10 more to fix the other.
