The ham and cheese fritters were perfectly cooked and paired well with the fruity sauce it came with. The salmon crudo was super fresh, and the yuzu dressing elevated the dish. Food felt like they were trying too hard to be different but none of the flavor combinations were a home run. My least fav was the nori'os (not in the picture). The cod was the only dish I'd recommend but it's unfortunately not stand out enough to make a visit worthwhile. Ice cream was good but also mediocre Service was decent - on time and friendly enough but nothing to wow you. The grounds are gorgeous but would recommend a drink on the patio and a walk vs the restaurant experience which will drain your wallet and leave you unfulfilled!

The quality (ingredients, flavor, way it's prepared -- everything!) is through the roof! Their menu is short and changes each week (only a few things are static), but it was love at first bite and EVERY week since I've gone back for more... and every week has been just as yummy and gratifying! They're location also changes and they're only by our office on Thursday's, but they (very quickly) have become a regular weekly work-lunch treat.

I checked their Facebook to get their location today and took a day trip from Dublin up to Napa. My girlfriend got the Wood Oven Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich. It came on a really good fresh roll (I believe a french roll). The mozzarella was fresh and the chicken was juicy and succulent. It was outstanding! I got the Curried Chicken and Vegetable Sandwich. The chicken curry was perfectly spiced, and again, everything was freshly bought and made. The pomegranate-nectarine chutney on top went perfectly with the sandwich. It's the best sandwich I've had in a long time. Both sandwiches came with a great arugula salad tossed in a white wine dressing. I talked with the 2 guys that run the truck for a bit. They're very friendly, hospitable, and, most importantly, they clearly take a lot of pride in their work. Great value, outstanding cuisine, and hospitable service. You can't miss this if you're in Napa, especially if you're even 1/2 a foodie.

We ordered the Pad Thai, and it was packed with flavor with just the right mix of sweet, savory, and tangy. The teriyaki wings were a real highlight crispy, tender, and full of flavor. Our kids loved the wings and white sauce pasta. The chicken breast with mashed potatoes was cooked perfectly and really delicious too. The service was friendly and attentive without ever feeling rushed, and the staff had some great recommendations for both food and drinks. It's a great spot whether you're stopping in for lunch, happy hour, or a casual dinner after exploring downtown Napa. We'd definitely come back the next time we're in town!

We came in right before the restaurant filled out at 10am and got the shakshuka along with a burger and fries. Everything was made perfectly and so flavorful. The chefs certainly have a skill for optimal taste and cooking as that was the best meal of the weekend. The server was so attentive and sweet too! We always had our water refilled and several friendly workers asked us about our triathlon experience. Very sweet people!

They did have several nice bottles to choose from, though. Our waiter was very friendly, attentive, and took great care of our table. We started with the pastry appetizer and the mushroom arancini balls. Both were good, but neither was anything that completely blew us away. My husband and I both ordered the halibut, and it was fantastic. The portions were generous, the fish was incredibly flavorful, and we both absolutely loved it. Everyone else at our table was also very pleased with their meals. The only unpleasant part of the evening was not really the restaurant's fault. The people seated next to us kept putting their small dogs on the table and allowing them to eat off their plates and lick the table. I have dogs and fully support bringing them along to dog-friendly restaurants, but that felt very unsanitary. I do think someone from the restaurant should have asked them to stop, although I'll give the staff the benefit of the doubt that they may not have seen it. Overall, we had a really great experience and would definitely recommend Napkins. I'd give it a solid 4.5 stars!

He told us about the specials and I took him up on the special: shrimp ravioli in lobster sauce. Sadly, it was very bland and lacked the "lobster" flavor in the thick sauce. The drinks were awesome. Totally recommend the drinks: Midnight in Italy and Fume Midnight in Italy was basically a very well served Manhattan. But it was gloriously served. Giant cube ice cube, really lovely rye whiskey and the perfect orange garnish that added to the senses as you sipped Fume arrived in a light fixture like glass box that you open to retrieve your drink. It's filled with smoke to add to the drink's experience. My hands smelled like smoke hours after the dinner. The drink was tasty. The grilled pineapple was tasty. But it was more showy than tasty. Baker brie was insanely delish. It was the best baked Brie I had. Perfectly balanced with the honey and pistachio. The iceberg wedge salad was as you would've expected. Decent sized Maybe we didn't ordered the dishes that they were most popular for so I was disappointed. Will have to come back and try another round. Especially for the drinks.

When it was time to serve dinner, we were led into a private dining room. It was a bit loud. Not the best acoustics, but a beautiful room. The staff were very attentive. It was a slow meandering meal. Our menu was pre-selected and the food came in courses and served family style. What really impressed me was how they accommodated allergies. I'm allergic to dairy and don't do well with gluten. Another person in our group was vegan and gluten free. I was able to eat almost everything on the menu. That is to say, the majority of the dishes, if they had gluten or dairy, they brought me me own plate with a safe version for me. I was blown away. A lot of places will give you a lesser alternative, but for the most part, they really made the same dishes, just allergy friendly. It was delicious. Often at dinners like this, in fancy restaurants, when it comes time for dessert, I will be offered either a plate of cut fruit or a sad bowl of not very good sorbet. Not here. One of the desserts was this amazing chocolate cake coated in chocolate with a raspberry filling. It was what they served everyone and it was gluten free and dairy free. I about fainted. They also served a dairy free chocolate gelato that was delicious. It had something interesting in it, maybe lavender? We couldn't quite place it. But it was wonderful. I would definitely come here again and recommend it to others. I have never seen a restaurant in Napa step up to the plate like this when it comes to accommodating food allergies. Way to go Farm! I hope to come back again soon.

We were fortunate to snag at last minute reservation at Farm when we arrived in Napa on a Friday…read moreevening. As you might expect the decor is upscale, modern farmhouse for a restaurant called Farm. It's beautiful with modern metal light figures, light color pallets, and large windows. And even though we reserved an indoor table, they accommodated our last minute desire to switch to outdoor seating. Major bonus points for sufficient heating for your outdoor diners, even at the end of May. The service at Farm was excellent. I just want to give a major shout out to Farm for completely accommodating my lactose intolerance. This allowed me to enjoy the dining experience without worry. For drinks they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne as we were celebrating a special occasion. This was a nice way to start the meal. After, I ordered a lemon drop and husband went with his typical old fashioned. Both were very good. Next, they gave us some amuse bouches to start the meal, with a special one for me to accommodate my dairy issue. Love, love it when restaurants do this. I think this especially notable for restaurants not offering a prixe fixe menu. The food was incredible. To start we had the focaccia, which was so, so good. I was also very hungry so I had more than I would have liked before I even got my entree. Oops, but I also have no regrets. For my entree, I really wanted the crab stuffed cod, but this could not be done without dairy so I opted for the eye of ribeye entree. This dish was incredible. The beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I don't know what the veggies on the side were exactly, but they were mind-blowingly good. I wish I could make veggies at home taste this good. I firmly believe that it speaks volumes when a restaurant puts as much effort into the sides as it does to its mains. My husband ordered the pizza as his main. He finished it all, but thought the pizza sauce tasted a little unusual, but couldn't put his finger on exactly why. For dessert I had strawberry sorbet, and my husband had the chocolate ice cream. The portions were very generous with three scoops each. I didn't think we would finish them, but they were so good we did. To conclude the meal, they gave us little pate de fruit candies, and cookies to take home with us, including a dairy free one specially for me. This type of experience is on par with Michelin level dining. We had such a fabulous meal here and overall amazing experience with the level of service at the Carneros property that even though we weren't staying as guests, we decided that we will stay at Carneros and will dine again at Farm when we visit again next year.

Service needs improvement…read more We went to this tavern to watch the World Cup soccer game. I was with a party at four and our dog. We sat out on the patio, which was dog friendly, which was very nice My gripe is that the service was rather slow, and the server wasn't very friendly. The kicker was we were ordering off the happy hour menu, which goes until 6 PM, and around 5:30 we asked the server if he would come back in about 15 minutes so that we can get our last order in before 6 PM He came back at 5:55 and we ordered a few more things from the happy hour menu and he said "happy hour is over, you can no longer order off the happy hour menu." I asked him "how can that be? It's still 5:55. The menu clearly states that happy hour goes until 6 PM plus we asked you 30 minutes ago if you can come back in 15 minutes and you said yes." He said he was told that happy hour is over and he can't take any more happy hour orders I told him to ask his boss or whoever told him that to come over and explain it to us He said the owner told him that I asked him please have the owner come over and explain that to us He went over and talked to the owner and then came back and said I can take your happy hour orders But that's just uncalled for you. They have a happy hour to attract business and they need to honor it. If it's 'till 6 o'clock they gotta take happy orders 'till 6 o'clock. Cutting people off five minutes early just results in upset customers. It's poor way to run a business. Other than that, the place is OK Food was all right, nothing to write home about. I won't be coming back.
