The scallops were big and juicy. I had them put the lobster sauce on the side since I'm slightly allergic to lobster
    Qian H.

I was talking to a friend about how I loved coming across morels at a different restaurant and she recommended that I stop by. I love that they serve the entire menu at the bar. I honestly wanted to try every mushroom option they had but for balance, I ended up going with the 3 item prix fixe menu we're doing. I started with the mushroom soup, and this was definitely the star of the meal- this is a must try if you are a mushroom lover. They are able to create something so rich and decadent without using any cream at all, Which is my favorite part, side of how wonderful the flavors were. The grilled cheese was such a cherry on top. I had scallops after and they were good. I would say my least favorite part was the Panna cotta Yuzu sorbet dessert. The flavors were interesting but I just found there was too much sorbet compared to the Panna cotta ratio. The service was good. The courses came out promptly and the bartender kept everything at the bar flowing smoothly. I am looking forward to coming back to try other items on the menu for sure. I was at the bar so I honestly had my back towards the restaurant, but I remember it being very open with high ceilings.

    Duck Egg molet
    Matt H.

Loved our experience at Torc! To start I had the Jamon Iberico De Bellota which was the perfect light little ham dish. For my main I had the Duck Egg Molet which was actually phenomenal. I also finished my meal with a Carajillo - a new cocktail to me but recommended by our waiter and busser which was absolutely fantastic. Service could not have been better. Our waiter and the coinciding busser truly made our experience better. They both deserve a promotion. Ambiance is nice, a little bit too open and airy for my liking but not bad whatsoever. Overall I will 100% be coming back to Torc next time I am in Napa and would suggest anyone do so.

Another bday celebration at Torc. Almost tempted to try a new bday dinner place but glad I did not! As always... superb ! 1. Heirloom Tomato Salad 2. Tempura Squash Blossoms ( always a classic here ... way before other retaurants ) 3. Tortelli with mushrooms and heirloom tomatoes ( yum) 4. Chocolate dessert Everything intentional about each culinary choice. Chef O'Toole is always on site and deeply cares about his art. Still chooses everything that goes into all his dishes early every morning not letting a single thing go to chance! I will never forget his words "My magic is nothing more than a love of food and the Art of Food but at the end of the day I just want a good hot dog... if I get one it's a good day" And when asked if he dreams about his next culinary creation or iteration he says " nope, I mostly dream of chopping onions" Such a humble soul ... Wish he would win more awards... He deserves it

We had an enjoyable dinner at Torc, and dined upstairs which was cozy and nice, and not too warm. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. I had the January restaurant month menu, and had the mushroom soup, halibut and red velvet dessert. The mushroom soup had a really nice panini with cheese which went well with it. The halibut also had mushrooms, and spinach. The flavors of both dishes were unique and delicious. The red velvet was a little strange, I didn't really like the texture of the cake, it was more like a soft brownie, and it had sour cream cheese droplets with a sweet red sauce. The ice cream was the best part of it. My daughter enjoyed her large scallops which came in a nice lobster sauce. Service was excellent, and our server was helpful when we asked questions.

I have always wanted to try Torc but could not get a reservation. Last Friday, my husband and I walked in and ready to just sit at the bar. Luckily, it was still early and was able to enjoy our dinner upstairs. We started with deviled eggs and hamachi tartare and both were absolutely delicious. My main course of short rib was amazing. It was very tender and flavorful. The scallops were also good. To top off dinner, we opted for the carrot cake! Service is wonderful. Our server was very attentive and made good suggestions for food options. I will be back!

bengali sweet potato pakora with yogurt-truffle dip
    Ed Y.

I've eaten at plenty of restaurants in Napa, and I kinda feel that Torc is pretty underrated. They serve consistently great food that's as enjoyable as just about any other great restaurant in Napa. One of the great things about this place is the Bubble Baller Flight. It's a flight of 4 great champagnes: Cristal, Dom, Krug, and Ruinart. I've done it a couple times and each time the glasses were fully effervescent. No flat glasses. It comes with a baller price tag, but it's not often you get to have a tasting of such fine champagnes. For me, the pasta is the star here; though, really, all their food is good. And they do like their truffles here. Here's what I tried on my last outing: - Bengali sweet potato pakora with yogurt-truffle dip: these were a tasty little starter. Little potato balls with a unique tasting dip. They do give you way more dip than is necessary, but I'll get these again next time as they were good and a relative bargain on the menu. - tempura squash blossoms with yuzu dip and shichimi-togarashi: good fried squash blossom dish. They're not filled; rather they have the dip to go with them. These are also tasty but were a little redundant since we got the pakora dish. - radiatori with pomodoro, heirloom tomato, Parmesan, and truffle: yum. You just can't go wrong with the pasta here. They rich and tasty. Portions aren't huge but since they are a bit heavy, you probably wouldn't want a much larger serving. - diver scallops: I forget what all the other sauces and accoutrements were with this dish, but these were just great seared scallops with an amazing sauce to match.

Deviled eggs "green eggs and ham"
    Michelle V.

The food was amazing! We ordered the jamon iberico, deviled eggs version of green eggs and ham, and the days special Ribeye. The way we're all delicious! Of course we took the Ribeye leftovers home and cooked it up the next day for steak and eggs breakfast. The service was quick and attentive. The seating was spaced out nicely so people didn't feel cramped. We did sit in the corner by the window and it was pretty cold with the AC blowing directly at us. Even for a summer warm day out, we were freezing in that corner. Next time I'll bring a sweater for sure!

The three of us came here for dinner after wine tasting tonight. Let me say that the food was good. The low star review is for service. We had a 7:00 reservation and were seated promptly. The waitress told us about the specials and we ordered 3 entrees and a side to share. Then we proceeded to chat away, we even chatted with the wonderful lady next to us and we saw her getting her wonderful appetizer, then entree, etc. Another couple came after us at the bar also got their food. After 45 min wait we were pretty hungry. I checked with the waitress and she said food should be coming up. The restaurant was busy but not full. We finally got our food afterwards after 7:50. There was no apologies or mentioned about why the delay. Is that because of skin color that we were not treated the same as the other patrons? I am not sure but the service was definitely different with our table vs the ones around us. I want to make sure everyone knows that the food was actually great and definitely at a fine dining level. However the service was far from it.

Photo of what I got. The rice was under the lobster but this was it

We are Napa locals and visited Torc for the first time and left really disappointed, especially given the pricing. The "wedge" salad was two small gem hearts with a few pieces of radish and two slices of sweet pickle. The dressing was an unusual flavor combination that didn't work at all. The "Lobster Thermidor" was cooked properly and had a nice flavor, but it didn't resemble the classic dish and the portion was really small. It also included little mandarin slices, which felt out of place. It was served with a very small amount of plain white rice that tasted packaged and added nothing to the plate. For close to $50, it needed more effort, balance, and substance. Dessert was also a miss. The panna cotta was extremely small, had a rubbery texture, and was overwhelmed by multiple scoops of sweet/tangy sorbet, marmalade, and a meringue-like garnish. It didn't feel like panna cotta at all. Service was not great but I think that is a result of the management. When we mentioned to the manager that we were pretty disappointed and asked to share feedback, he said, "Okay, why don't you pay the bill then I'll come back and hear what you have to say." That response made it clear our experience wasn't a priority. I think if you are going to charge a certain price there is an expectation that comes along with that. So matter Napa restaurants and this not one of them

    Karen B.

One of my favorite Napa dinner spots! Amazing service, fresh quality ingredients, unique menu. I really enjoyed the hamachi tartare and the cod they had that day - it was melt-in-your-mouth with the perfect combination of flavors. I had the red velvet for dessert, which was deconstructed with various added flavors (notes of yuzu and pistachio I believe) served with cream cheese ice cream. Can't wait to come back to try more!

Short rib - all meat no fat
    Lisa H.

Excellent meal - the best short rib in Napa! We all had salads and the deviled eggs but we were too hungry to take pics of those! Excellent service wine and food.

Small but there is an upstairs with maybe approximately 5-7 tables

Of course it's right in the heart of downtown so it was perfect for after dinner stroll. We had an early reservation which when we arrived, majority of the tables were empty. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. A few tables along the front patio as well as a bigger sectioned outdoor patio along the side of the restaurant. Indoor is just one big room. There's a bar counter but I don't remember if you can utilize it. Our waitress was a major doll. The sweetest ever and very friendly. Made sure that we were well taken cared off the whole time. Menu wise for both drinks and food was quite nice. I think we were all wined out after the afternoon tasting....lol... So a little cocktail here and there was tried. Food wise, there was a big group so a bunch of starters was had to share. The pork belly was delicious, small but tasty. It was basically just enjoying a nice thick piece of bacon with roasted apples with a glaze. That was a favorite amongst everyone. Prosciutto and burrata with grilled strawberries and micro greens and a balsamic glaze. You can't go wrong with burrata, it was delicious. The cast iron corn bread with lavender honey was another favorite. Something so simple yet so delicious. There was another dish in a grape leaves but I don't remember ordering it. It was tasty. Also, I could have sworn we ordered the beet salad but didn't get it...lol... Could be wrong. Anyways, starters were nice. Entrees, another mix of everything had. We each ordered our own but ended up passing things around to share. The duck confit didn't sound that interesting but someone ordered it and it was quite delicious. Think that was the best dish out of everything we had. The steak and fries were good, did like the seasoning used for the fries. The shrimp boil was ok, sort of flavorless in my opinion. Potatoes, sausage, bell peppers, onions, corn, shrimp tossed in a lobster broth. It was good but lacking some seasoning. Not your traditional shrimp boil as you would think with the loaded seasoning. Roasted chicken with the wild spring vegetables and wild rice pilaf. It's chicken, decent and moist. Still pretty tasty. The halibut with the roasted mix veggies. Nice piece of meat cooked nicely. Classic gnocchi in basil pesto, simple but good. The short rib which I believe was the special. A few piece of meat, with mashed potatoes, grilled onions and corn on the cob. It was good, meat was tender and flavorful. Also a side order of the onion rings which was also a favorite. Nice thick piece with grated Parmesan. Of course we still had to get dessert after all that. Two different one, the cheesecake with fresh fruit and the shortbread cake with creme and fruit. Both were quite tasty and a nice way to finish off a meal even though we were full. Overall, the service was top notch. Service was amazing and our waitress was a major doll. The sweetest and friendliest. Made us feel so welcomed. Drinks, quite good. Food, there was some hit and misses. We did enjoy ourselves and had a nice time. Location is amazing in the heart of downtown. I believe everything is street parking. Another place off the list.

That and the fact that they have never been to Napa/Sonoma Area in their 36 years in America, meant that my brother and I had to plan a trip. My brother selected Mustards Grill. It was along the way to our reservation to Beringer and continently along St. Helena Highway. Despite hearing about Mustards being a staple within the Yountville area, it was so my first time trying it too. We had a reservation for 4 and after getting taken care of by the courteous host and being welcomed by our waitress, we were left with waters and the menu. To get the most of the experience, my brother thought we should all share several items. We shared their famous Pork Chops, Duck Confit, Ribs and Cornbread, Squash Risotto, and a side of Green Beans. We were offered fresh bread and butter prior to the arrival of our entrees and shortly after enjoying the soft pillowy bread, we were ready for more. My parents, being Cantonese and coming from the restaurant background, really care about having fresh and quality ingredients and letting the flavors shine - not letting sauces dictate the dish. Despite it being American fare, they quite enjoyed each dish and went back for additional helpings after giving a small initial taste of each item. Our visit to Mustards Grill ended up being a joyous meal where my parents got more exposure to the wonders of quality American cuisine as well as marked a good start to the day we were spending in wine county.

We had reservations for 11AM, by the time it was 11:30AM, about 85% of the restaurant was filled. By noon? All the tables were taken! Come early, get seated, relax. Service: We had the privilege of having Dwight be our server this afternoon. He was an absolute gem who loves his job, and loves what he does. He explained to us the specials, and some of the dishes he liked; he was a big help! We settled on a few things: the chicken wings (a MUST-HAVE; they are smoked first --- then fried; then tossed in a bit of a sweet seasoning --- it hits all the taste buds!). We also got the sweet potatoes --- good, nothing to write mom about. In addition, I had to get the famous Mongolian Porkchops. Dwight suggested to get it medium (I was a bit apprehensive --- it is pork), but always "trust the chef". So I did. My meal was EXCELLENT. The porkchop was perfectly grilled with some charred bits, and the meat was tender and juicy. Thank you Dwight for your suggestion! All-in-all, Mustards Grill is a MUST if you're ever staying in the Napa Valley. They received a Michelin Star in 2025, and if you try their food, you can clearly see why. After your finished with your meal, step outside and make a right --- and take some photos next to the vineyard. You are in Napa after all!

As you might expect the decor is upscale, modern farmhouse for a restaurant called Farm. It's beautiful with modern metal light figures, light color pallets, and large windows. And even though we reserved an indoor table, they accommodated our last minute desire to switch to outdoor seating. Major bonus points for sufficient heating for your outdoor diners, even at the end of May. The service at Farm was excellent. I just want to give a major shout out to Farm for completely accommodating my lactose intolerance. This allowed me to enjoy the dining experience without worry. For drinks they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne as we were celebrating a special occasion. This was a nice way to start the meal. After, I ordered a lemon drop and husband went with his typical old fashioned. Both were very good. Next, they gave us some amuse bouches to start the meal, with a special one for me to accommodate my dairy issue. Love, love it when restaurants do this. I think this especially notable for restaurants not offering a prixe fixe menu. The food was incredible. To start we had the focaccia, which was so, so good. I was also very hungry so I had more than I would have liked before I even got my entree. Oops, but I also have no regrets. For my entree, I really wanted the crab stuffed cod, but this could not be done without dairy so I opted for the eye of ribeye entree. This dish was incredible. The beef was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I don't know what the veggies on the side were exactly, but they were mind-blowingly good. I wish I could make veggies at home taste this good. I firmly believe that it speaks volumes when a restaurant puts as much effort into the sides as it does to its mains. My husband ordered the pizza as his main. He finished it all, but thought the pizza sauce tasted a little unusual, but couldn't put his finger on exactly why. For dessert I had strawberry sorbet, and my husband had the chocolate ice cream. The portions were very generous with three scoops each. I didn't think we would finish them, but they were so good we did. To conclude the meal, they gave us little pate de fruit candies, and cookies to take home with us, including a dairy free one specially for me. This type of experience is on par with Michelin level dining. We had such a fabulous meal here and overall amazing experience with the level of service at the Carneros property that even though we weren't staying as guests, we decided that we will stay at Carneros and will dine again at Farm when we visit again next year.

Agnolotti - Entree, but I felt more of a tapa/appetizer size. The flavors were okay. I was worried that this was not going to be enough food for my daughter, and we are light eaters... Pappardelle - My dish, and currently my go-to pasta. It was just okay. At least it was a decent one serving light eater quantities.... Wines - Expensive, so I decided to only have a beer with my dinner. Choose the Original Pattern, Hazy IPA, CA - Nice and refreshing. Ambiance - Beautiful resort. The restaurant looked good also - Modern, clean decor, etc. See pictures. Indoor/outdoor space. Bar, lounge, table, counter table, private room seating, etc. I actually like the outdoor space and would come here for drinks and the live music. And we liked the high quality board games in the resort lobby; my daughter would probably love to hang out here and play some games. Prost tasting room; wine tasting before or after dinner? Plenty of parking, self parking or valet. I checked out both the resort lobby and restaurant indoor/outdoor spaces; see pictures. Live music today. Shared restrooms with the resort. Meet hall spaces available. Service - Just okay, expected better. Price - Expensive for what we got. $108 + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2006.

He told us about the specials and I took him up on the special: shrimp ravioli in lobster sauce. Sadly, it was very bland and lacked the "lobster" flavor in the thick sauce. The drinks were awesome. Totally recommend the drinks: Midnight in Italy and Fume Midnight in Italy was basically a very well served Manhattan. But it was gloriously served. Giant cube ice cube, really lovely rye whiskey and the perfect orange garnish that added to the senses as you sipped Fume arrived in a light fixture like glass box that you open to retrieve your drink. It's filled with smoke to add to the drink's experience. My hands smelled like smoke hours after the dinner. The drink was tasty. The grilled pineapple was tasty. But it was more showy than tasty. Baker brie was insanely delish. It was the best baked Brie I had. Perfectly balanced with the honey and pistachio. The iceberg wedge salad was as you would've expected. Decent sized Maybe we didn't ordered the dishes that they were most popular for so I was disappointed. Will have to come back and try another round. Especially for the drinks.

I had a late lunch. As soon as I stepped in I was greeted. I sat by the water outdoors. There is…read moreoutdoor of indoor seating. All staff were super friendly, several checked in on me. They def knew their menu. Immediately brought water with cucumber and lemon, very refreshing. I ordered the bread with butter to start, it was excellent. That butter just melts on every bite, taking the bread to the next level. Staff recommended the Rachel pastrami. It did not disappoint. It was very simple. However the combination of the thousand Island, sauerkraut, the pastrami and buttered bread just made it so delicious. It was decently meat packed too. The sandwich came with fries which I inhaled the ketchup that they brought me extra. It also came with two types of coleslaw both were delish. They were not overwhelming with dressing. The yellow one was interesting bc I thought it was turmeric but it was slightly sweet. Delish as well. Also ordered their Italian prosecco. I'm into red wine but for some reason perhaps the environment I felt the prosecco would work and it did! It was bubbly refreshing, tasty, and not dry. Their restroom was big and clean. This is in the Jack London Village. They have parking on both ends. The village has other restaurants and wine tasting as well.

It has a cozy, rustic charm that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your meal. Here's what we tried: Lemon Drop Martini - Refreshing and well-balanced. A solid way to kick off lunch. Della Fattoria Bread - Our waiter hyped it up as "the best bread in California." Maybe my expectations were a little too high because...it was just okay to me. Good, but not the showstopper I was expecting. Brussels Sprouts - These were really good! Perfectly roasted with lots of flavor. Spicy Sweet Chili Wings - THE STAR OF THE SHOW! These were hands down the best thing we ordered. Crispy, sticky, sweet with just the right amount of heat...absolutely delicious! I'd honestly come back just for these. Clam Chowder - Creamy, comforting, and a nice starter. Bacon Cheeseburger - A solid burger that definitely hit the spot. My only real complaint? The wings. Not the flavor--the portion size. For $20, I think the order should include at least 8-10 wings. You get six (the sixth one is hiding under the garnish in my photo ), and one of them was noticeably smaller than the others. They were so good that I just wished there had been more! Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Between the charming atmosphere, friendly service, and those unforgettable wings, I'd definitely come back again. Next time, I'll probably skip the bread and go straight for another order of those wings!
