Totally recommend the drinks: Midnight in Italy and Fume Midnight in Italy was basically a very well served Manhattan. But it was gloriously served. Giant cube ice cube, really lovely rye whiskey and the perfect orange garnish that added to the senses as you sipped Fume arrived in a light fixture like glass box that you open to retrieve your drink. It's filled with smoke to add to the drink's experience. My hands smelled like smoke hours after the dinner. The drink was tasty. The grilled pineapple was tasty. But it was more showy than tasty. Baker brie was insanely delish. It was the best baked Brie I had. Perfectly balanced with the honey and pistachio. The iceberg wedge salad was as you would've expected. Decent sized Maybe we didn't ordered the dishes that they were most popular for so I was disappointed. Will have to come back and try another round. Especially for the drinks.

We started with a fantastic bottle of Zinfandel , along with a Caesar salad and the Fisherman's Stew both were excellent. The highlight of the evening was the pork chop Milanese entrée that my wife and I shared, served with pasta. It was absolutely amazing and one of the best dishes we've had in a long time. The food, service, our waiter Talani was amazing the atmosphere, and overall experience were all outstanding. If you're visiting downtown Napa, I highly recommend stopping by Scala Osteria. This review comes after my second five-star visit to Scala, and it has firmly earned a spot on my list of must-visit restaurants in Napa. The restaurant is both elegant and inviting, with a beautiful ambiance that has a perfect balance between sophisticated and comfortable. The service has been exceptional on both visits--attentive, polished, and genuinely welcoming. On each visit, we dined family-style, sharing a salad, an appetizer, a pasta, and, of course, the famous pork chop. Both the chopped salad and Caesar salad were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned for sharing. The Spaghetti with shrimp and clams, along with the Calamari di Monterey pasta, were absolutely outstanding--so much so that I'm still thinking about them days later. And now, the pork chop. I'm not entirely sure what culinary wizardry goes into creating this Pork Chop Milanese, but it is nothing short of extraordinary. The pork is pounded impossibly thin, fried to golden perfection, and coated in a delicately crisp crust that somehow remains light and airy. It's finished with a buttery lemon-caper sauce that adds just the right amount of brightness and richness. It sounds almost absurd to say that fried pork melts in your mouth, but somehow this one does. Every bite is perfectly balanced, SO tender, and honestly unforgettable. I left thoroughly impressed after my first visit, and after my second, I can confidently say this wasn't a fluke. I'll likely find myself returning to Scala every time I'm in Napa until I finally get this pork chop out of my system--which, at this point, may never happen.

Recently, I came to visit Stateline Road Smokehouse for the first time for lunch. There was no line…read morenor wait to order! I was looking to chow down on some barbecue, Kansas City style!! I ordered the burnt ends, potato salad, and curly fries. The burnt ends were flavorful and very tender. It was some juicy pieces of meat. I loved this so much! The potato salad is not the traditional cold potato salad. It was warm, but, it was well seasoned and the potatoes were soft. Yum! The curly fries with aoili sauce were crunchy! No fry was cold nor limp. Well seasoned. There was some pickled onions on the side to enjoy. I ordered the Blood orange spritz for my cocktail. For only $9 AND if was refreshing to sip on a warm dat!! I ended the last of my visit sipping on some Rombauer chardonnay. Which was 6 ounces for $10. Inside the restaurant there are plenty of tables, water station clean bathrooms, and very nice staff. The staff comes and checks in every so often if I need to order anything else. There's also patio seating. It was too warm for me that day to eat outside. I will make the plan to do so next visit! I had no complaints or issue. I am eyeing the mac n cheese and will try next visit! I definitely will be returning again real soon! Till next time! :)

I ordered Ribs, brisket, links and chicken along with several sides. I took my wife and 3 kids to help devour this meal. Although the staff is friendly, the service provided was truely mediocre. During the ordering line, our family of 5 got completely ignored and I had to interrupt them to make sure they noticed we were in line. Our meats was served tepid, barely warm, even though they made us wait for the food like it was coming out the smoker. Our drinks weren't served with our order or called out that they were ready. The ribs were tough, probably due to the temperature and the rest of the meats were needing salt/seasoning. However, the best thing we got was the Rancho Gordo Beans and Greens which was absolutely delish. Even the kids denied the mac and cheese since it wasn't warm or hot. This might have been an off day for staff, but it wasn't a busy day and the owner was there greeting and serving food. I'm willing to try again but there are much better options, especially in neighboring cities.
