    Half cheese. Half pepperoni
    Nancy B.

I met my son here for dinner the other night. It's a cute little pizza place tucked into a quaint town. They had plenty of outdoor seating, but was too chilly to sit outside. We sat inside on incredibly uncomfortable stools. They staff was energetic and polite. The phone rang off the hook, as regulars came in for grinders, calzones and of course, pizza! They don't have any adult beverages but DO carry Foxon Park sodas! They are definitely a take out place, so the ambiance wasn't much to review about. We got a medium pie, half cheese, half pepperoni. I have to say, the sauce was not like anything I ever had. Tasted sweet in a way, took an entire slice to get used to. But what I really liked was, it was thin, crispy, and just the right amount of greasy! I don't think I'd go out of my way to stop in again, but am excited that they were cranking pretty busy on a Thursday afternoon.

    Vegetarian panini

My husband and I ate here for dinner. I got the vegetarian panini and my husband got a calzone. The pic is of my panini. Not an appetizing looking meal. The taste was not good. Just tasted like fried oil. One of the veggies was breaded fried eggplant. Breaded fried veggie put between two pieces of fried bread. Bread which seemed like it came from a loaf from Stop n Shop. Not good. I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites. However, my husband's calzone was very good. The bread was delicious! I don't know how this calzone and the panini came from the same kitchen. Also, it was the size of a small dog. It fed my husband for 4 days. The bread was so good, I'm willing to return to try their pizza. It's also why it got the 2nd star.

Large Milano, my favorite pie I've tried so far at Da Vinci's Cobalt

I've been to Rossini's and Main Street Pizza but I will loyally choose DaVinci over the two any day of the week.

I ordered a hotdog special (w/ fries and cole slaw) & my friend ordered a salad plate with NO olives (allergy). I saw the waitress write down "NO OLIVES" on the order. Our order was placed at 11:45am. At 12:15, I got up to find a staff member to ask if someone could check on our order. (Four customers had come in after us and were served/eating.) I was assured by a tall male that he saw the food "being made" and it would be right out. I seated myself and waited an additional 13 minutes for our food. Our plates were delivered by the same tall male. The salad plate had OLIVES on it and the hotdog was lukewarm with room-temperature/cold fries. We pointed out the OLIVES and the male asked, "Do you want me to take it back?" (UMMMM - YES - CROSS CONTAMINATION!) The waitresses came over and were EXTREMELY APOLOGETIC and didn't know what else to say. Eventually, a replacement salad was delivered. It should not take 45+ minutes to get a simple hotdog "special". The other meal didn't even require cooking - it was mounds of tuna, macaroni and chicken salad on pita bread. Neither one of us finished our meals because at that point, we had lost our appetites. WHAT a WASTE of our time, money and drive to Marlborough from Hartford. We will not be returning! (yes, we tipped the waitress well because it was not her fault!)

The staff are not friendly whatsoever and I felt like I was inconveniencing them by picking up my food. Every time the food took way longer than I was told. I don't mind waiting, but just tell me not to come for longer so I'm not sitting there waiting. This last time they told me 35 minutes and it took 65 minutes so I was sitting in the dining room for 30 minutes waiting. They For food, there is potential. The first time I ordered the birria. The flavors of the meat were wonderful, and the portion size was generous, but the tacos were very greasy/soggy. Maybe because I got them to go... The second time I ordered a small al pastor pizza. The pictures they posted on Facebook looked delicious. But mine came without the onions or cilantro which was a bit disappointing. Third time I ordered a birria pizza which took over an hour and was very undercooked. I was hoping the new owners would do well but I don't see that happening and unfortunately do NOT recommend this place.
