The tale of the tomato asiago pizza. It is a show stopper on a regular day, juicy, favorful, just the right amount of toppings and just the right amount of crunch in the crust. And they have small, large and medium pizzas, which is hard to find these days. For some reason, I thought I could enhance perfection by adding some spinach. I noticed they suddenly had online ordering, so I gave it a try. Unfortunately, they were still getting used to the system, and missed my added spinach topping. I was really disappointed, so I called politely to let them know. They assured me they would fix me up next time. And they did, they gave me a new pizza at no charge, and it was beyond amazing! This is a small little pizza place with zero inside seating. They offer a decent amount of pizzas, grinders and other foods as well! Their Foxon Soda (based on total price minus pizza price) seemed a bit high but oh well. Their pizza had a super crunchy base with a light and fluffy crust! The cheese wasn't so oily that it flowed over the pizza, and the sauce had a tasty robust flavor. I've also gotten a gluten free steak and cheese (cheese was burnt, and the sandwich was a bit dry), but the gluten free pizza was cooked on aluminum foil to prevent contamination (which prevents the crust from getting crunchy but better than contamination)! read more

I met my son here for dinner the other night. It's a cute little pizza place tucked into a quaint town. They had plenty of outdoor seating, but was too chilly to sit outside. We sat inside on incredibly uncomfortable stools. They staff was energetic and polite. The phone rang off the hook, as regulars came in for grinders, calzones and of course, pizza! They don't have any adult beverages but DO carry Foxon Park sodas! They are definitely a take out place, so the ambiance wasn't much to review about. We got a medium pie, half cheese, half pepperoni. I have to say, the sauce was not like anything I ever had. Tasted sweet in a way, took an entire slice to get used to. But what I really liked was, it was thin, crispy, and just the right amount of greasy! I don't think I'd go out of my way to stop in again, but am excited that they were cranking pretty busy on a Thursday afternoon. read more

My husband and I ate here for dinner. I got the vegetarian panini and my husband got a calzone. The pic is of my panini. Not an appetizing looking meal. The taste was not good. Just tasted like fried oil. One of the veggies was breaded fried eggplant. Breaded fried veggie put between two pieces of fried bread. Bread which seemed like it came from a loaf from Stop n Shop. Not good. I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites. However, my husband's calzone was very good. The bread was delicious! I don't know how this calzone and the panini came from the same kitchen. I love the thin crust pizza here. The specials toppings are just outstanding. I really love the Mona Lisa. It's just that the prices are outrageous for what you're getting. I spent over 50$ on two large specials and I know that's just how things are these days. On a Saturday evening I started calling at 8:10PM and no one was picking up the phone. The hours state they are open until 9PM. So at 8:30PM I drove down to the business thinking there is something wrong with their phones. Nope. They simply closed early. Doors were locked. (Covid-era review) This is going to sound like a weird way to start a 2-star review, but I love their food. Everything is great and the staff is super friendly and efficient. The specialty pizzas are great (everyone has their favorite), the lunch specials are nicely priced and also tasty and the wings are good. But...I feel compelled to give them two stars because since Covid hit, their safety precautions have been going steadily downhill. The first time post-Covid shutdown that I went to get takeout back in early April? Everyone was masked. The next few times? A couple of people unmasked while making food. This last time last week? Every. Single. Guy. Preparing. Food. Was. Not. Wearing. A Mask. Not one of them. Is that even allowed? They're running around and breathing heavily. Not cool. There was a slight snafu with our order which the nice guy promptly fixed graciously but I felt unsafe so I waited outside for the order. When he brought it out to HAND IT TO ME, he was not wearing a mask! C'mon, guys! There's a pandemic out there. You are going to lose customers over this. Like me. It was up there with the best pizzas we have ever experienced. The crust was thin as advertised. The consistency and taste of the sauce was excellent. And the staff was very friendly.
