Local family owned, no hassles, no large ticket pricing. A few tips if you're coming here: They open at 8am, come early! Easiest route- go North on Western Ave. Walk in... tell they what work you need done on you car, give Make and Model of your car and get on repair list. When you are called, go get your car and pull into service garage. They will come and tell you what they noticed during diagnostic tests and inspection. They will show and explain to you the repairs. You will be told the cost with local taxes, so you know what to pay. Once done, they'll pull your car out and, after you pay CASH ONLY, you're good to go! Simple repair shop... no frills nor gimmicks! Park and walk in, because they do great work!

It originated at a Ford dealership where he was a Master Technician. It was obvious he was knowledgeable and CARED about the work he performed on customer's vehicles. A recent inspection and estimate for the same work we'd received @ Toyota of Lincoln Park was in excess of $4K; a complete non-starter. Nate Hoffman @ Rockwell Auto Clinic reached out with pricing for the 3 tasks that was nearly half of what we'd been quoted @ Toyota of Lincoln Park; a complete starter and must-do. He even recommended that I avoid getting the alignment done @ Toyota, and postpone it until after the suspension work was done; sound advice that the service advisors @ Toyota of Lincoln Park did not provide. I dropped the car off on a late afternoon and retrieved it the following day with no issues whatsoever; the car now rides, steers, and brakes just as it did when new. Nate was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, and we'd definitely return to Rockwell Auto Clinic for future work on our vehicle.

He did not ask for the rest money for the timing chain but he did say he did a tune up on my car. I paid him for the tune up. A couple weeks later my car break down again. I didn't take it back to him this time, I took it to Pep Boys. I needed a tune up and camshafts replaced(he replaced this on my car previously and they said it was placed incorrectly) . If I had to do all this again I would've just took my car to pep boys. You try to save a little money but in the end spend way more.
