Last year unfortunately we had to replace both Burner & Boiler. We used Burner King (which I will never use or refer ever). Every 6-7 months it would stop working & except for 1 technician there, the others kept on telling me I need a new tank, which I found out was not the problem at all. All they needed to do, was install a tiger loop & the problem would stop. I picked up the part in December (the last time it shut down), but never installed it because why fix something that's working fine? Well this week, it stopped working again, I went threw the web & found Marran. I called & spoke to a Maria, who was so nice & helpful. Next morning, the technician Garrett, came & went thru the whole unit, installed the tiger loop for me & also found out the fuel pump seized ( unbelievable on a brand new unit that's only 16 months old). He also did a test on the tank & no water was in it? I'm so happy with Marran that they just gained a new customer! Did I mention that Burner king tried to charge me $366.00 for showing up in December to get it started while it was still under warranty? Thank you Maria, Garrett & Marran oil! I shopped around and out of the 15 people who presented their prices; Joe from Marran had the most competitive and fair price structure out there. On the day of install, Jose, Jesse and Nick showed up right on time. They were neat, clean, professional, knowledgeable and used great care to maintain cleanliness in our home while they were working. I was extremely impressed at the pride of workmanship these young men had in their work product. In todays market many contractors want the max charge and spend as little time as possible. Recently Marran sent a tech for spring tune-up for my a/c system. Since no one other than myself had been inside the house since the pandemic began 3 months ago, I was concerned for my safety. When I called to make the appointment, a supervisor at Marran talked me through the company's procedures for keeping everyone safe. From the moment Jesse arrived on the day of the appointment, he maintained social distancing, wore a mask, and assured me that new gloves were used for each appointment. I had them install central air conditioning for my house and a ductless unit for my mother in law four years ago. We have been very happy with both systems. The house cools down very quickly when turn the ac on. This past winter I had them start delivering oil and servicing my boiler. I also had them start monitoring my alarm. I have been very happy with both. My boiler stopped working one night and they had fixed for free before my kids bedtimes. I haven't had any attempted robberies, but the one time my sister set off the alarm by accident, the alarm definitely went off. read more

I've been a customer for almost twenty years. I've always been happy with their service, but I lost heat at 11pm about a week ago, and they had a guy there within an hour. He fixed the problem in about an hour, and I didn't even have to pay anything because it was all covered by the service contract. I was really happy, because I had a friend whose pipes froze last year. His heating stopped working on a cold night and his company took too long to get there. I guess you never really find out what sort of company you're dealing with until something like this happens to you. read more

I've used Marran for many years, and I have only great things to say about them. They are friendly and professional. Prices are great, and their maintenance contract covers stuff that other companies' don't. I've talked to a few neighbors who mostly like their oil companies, but have had a complaint or two. I'm not a big reviewer but this one is warranted. I'm on a monthly payment plan for my oil and this company sent me a letter saying that I could reduce my payments because I used less oil than expected. I've only heard of oil companies asking for more money so this is a nice change of pace. I also really like the technicians from here that have worked on my boiler. read more
