They hesitated taking the truck back to fix it because it was sold "as-is" but they did, reluctantly. Now we are trying to renew the tags on the truck (we simply had tags transferred last time) it was not able to pass emissions. Low and behold the check engine light was blown so who knows how long it had actually been on. After sinking another $2,500 into the truck to get the knock sensors, catalytic converter, and intake gaskets replaced it still failed emissions. We pulled the dash out to look instrument cluster (where the check engine light is) and found it had been replaced by a SALVAGE YARD! So now we will have to replace the entire cluster costing an additional $400-$500 just for the part - not including labor. Please know we understand this was a used vehicle and with that we expected to have to fix some things here and there. But to have not been told of the work that had been previously done and told that it was a running, well working vehicle, and the check engine light was not on was obviously misleading to obtain the sale. For all we know this owner knew of the issues the car had and was just trying to get it off the lot at the cost of the customer. I would NOT recommend buying a car from Mike's. Please do yourself a favor and look else where. *Updated: Only weeks after the repairs above were completed, the transmission started going out. We are now almost $5,000 into repairs not even a year after buying the vehicle.

Within 8 months of driving this veichle and taking care of it as much as possible. It now need over 3k in repairs not including the 1,500 I already spent on other repairs. I know an older veichles need more maintenance but this car is beyond that. They said it used to be a lease for Toyota so it should've had all the maintenance done on time and correctly. Turns out they never replaced the timing belt and it should've been done 60k miles ago (when it was still in Toyotas possession. Now it wasn't their fault the timing belt wasn't replaced but they shouldn't have sold a veichle without proper inspection. Would not recommend buying from here

He told me at one point that it would be the first of the week, but I didn't get any kind of update on the status. I called and he claimed he was still waiting on a part, but when I called later that day the parts magically appeared and he told me it would be ready the next day. Normally, I would've given him the benefit of the doubt, but when he wouldn't let me use my coupons because he'd "already written up" the service ticket, that just didn't sit well with me. Additionally, they did not rotate my tires.....and I paid for that service. I could tell because I had one tire that was different from the others and it had not been moved. Another odd coincidence was that one tire went completely flat overnight.......I've not had any problems before with the tire. I would've chalked it up to just being my bad luck, but with all the other issues I had with them, I'm inclined to be suspicious. I had been sent a review by the company about my experience, of which I was very honest. I received an email apologizing for everything and offering a refund for the tire rotation, but it's been over a week and I haven't received a refund. Just to give a little background though, I had problems with this service department when they were at the old location. I thought maybe I just had my usual bad luck, and wanted to give them another try because I was able to finance the work. I could go into more detail with the other experience, but I'm just fed up with them, and I'm so disappointed in this service department.
