Great atmosphere and view super relaxed food was delicious and the Nutella Martina super yummy

Recently I ordered from Marsala's Italian Kitchen for some weekend fun and good eating. The pizza was very good and ready right on time for takeout. I even ordered one pizza to be a little more crispy than the other and Marsala's accommodated that requests which shows me that they read the Yelp orders and care enough to follow them. The staff was also friendly and took Covid safely protocols seriously; which was helpful. read more

This review is for the deluxe pizza! The description says "with everything" and it has EVERYTHING!!! There's some Pepperoni, sausage, brocoli, onion, chicken, mushrooms...i mean...eveything! I got the large for 3 ppl (2 were guys) and we had 3 slices left! I also really enjoyed the crust and thats saying alot because I usually toss the crust out. read more

Ordered pizza here around 9:30 at night. Said it would be about 1 hour for delivery. Around 11 I still didn't get the food and called in. From the sounds of it my order was forgotten. They closed at 11 but still made the pizza and delivered it, well past their closing time. Pizza was just a standard pepperoni pizza. Good, basic, cheap, and fast NY-style pizza. Ordered delivery online via their website and it was delivered piping hot within 36 minutes in Waltham, even though it was only a couple of hours before a Patriots' playoff game. My only criticisms are that I ordered double pepperoni, and it seemed more like a regular. I'd hate to see their regular amount of toppings if that is the case, but maybe it was a mistake (another time it appeared correct). And the online ordering system lets you charge the pizza, but doesn't permit a tip to be included, so you still need cash on hand. The white garlic and tomato was also pretty good and very garlicy. Might try asking for a well done pizza next time since I think they could use a little more color on the crust. Located across from Gordon's Wines, so I occasionally come in here for some pizza after a wine tasting. read more

Ordered out from here and went with a B.L.A.T. Salad (bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato and it was horrible. Wilted brown lettuce, dried out bacon, 2 tiny cherry tomato's and hard unripe avocado slices with two small pieces of grilled chicken made this a terrible lunch. I should of known better than to order a salad from a pizza place. Pictures looked appetizing but this was nothing but a mess of lettuce thrown in a container. I would skip this place unfortunately due to the fact I want to support local restaurants but not sure I can do it with this place since it was so bad. read more

So far I've tried their pastas, subs, calzones & salads and everything has been great. I've been consistently impressed with their chicken dishes. The chicken is always cooked perfectly and tastes great. The salad and breads are always fresh. These guys also pack the food to go much better than most take out places. The sausage and peppers and the chicken ziti & broccoli are phenomenal here! Our group also tried the lasagna which was just alright. For my particular taste, there was far too much ricotta filling, and not enough sauce. It wasn't a deal breaker though! I think we'll try the pizza next. read more

This place was so great. When we(group of 5) arrived at about 11pm on a Saturday, we thought about how it may be too busy and how it may be too late for optimal service. This thought was wrong. Their phones were constantly ringing but they got to us in a fair time & brought us our food out in one big order--also in a fair amount of time. I didn't want any cheese on my pasta so I kindly mentioned it to them & they made me a new one in 5 minutes! It was amazing. They gave us nice, soft bread(not hard or stale/too crunchy). Taste-wise and speed of prep were great for a take-out order of a few submarines on Saturday afternoon. But 2 of the 3 were totally botched, so I'm kind of sad. I'll try them again out of proximity, and they tasted pretty good, but (for example) putting hots on a sub when you expressly said "please don't add hots" is bad form. read more

Just got my first delivery from them and was very impressed. Had chicken, ziti, broccoli alfredo (and substituted gnocchi) and it was really delicious and plenty for two as advertised. Also had a side of meatballs which were wonderful and a Greek salad that was as good looking as it was delicious. It all looked great, tasted better and came in large quantities! Oh, and the bread they sent was a triangular roll made of pizza dough that was really great. Big portions, great food, careful prep, decent delivery and reasonable prices. Ordered a 12" pepperoni mushroom za with a mozzarella stick side. The mozz sticks were gone in possibly record time. The pizza on the other hand seems a bit tough. I'm not sure if it was over cooked or this is a normal texture to their pie. I'll say the sauce was yummy and stuck out enough to keep me munching. This used to be the only Italian restaurant that I my wife and I used to order from. As other reviews the food is great. The reason for this poor review and why I say "used to" is poor customer management. When I order I always ask for some extra red sauce on the side. This happened with my very first order. Sometimes they have given me small packets - some times 2, some times four, other times a quart seriously large amount. Never have they charged me. All of a sudden they want to charge me $4.25 or $1 for small sauce each. Again this only place we order from in Waltham the food is all the other reviews say but if you have a customer that has always ordered they same thing with sauce not the side there is a better way to handle the situation when you want to or feel it is fair to start charging. Maybe you don't charge this time as a courtesy but say you will do so in the future. At least don't act like you do t care. I'm not saying the guy was rude but when I said I order from here all the time - he was I different. Therefore, now I am and I will not order from here again. Just because I purposely go to local restaurants bc I want to support them but I do feel they should at least value loyalty or the customer read more

Raised prices by $2.00-3.00. If you add cheese, onions, or anything else they charge $1 each item. So a normal pastrami that was listed on menu for $9.00 becomes $12.75 by adding mustard, cheese, mayo, and onions. Normal meal cost of pasta and 2 subs usually around $32-$34 is now $42 dollars. Luckily they missed another order of sub. Won't be ordering from there anytime soon. read more

I have had everything at this place from signature sweet sauce beach pizza, chicken parm, fettuccini Alfredo , buffalo chicken calzones, my mouth is watering talking about all this food. I was in the area for work and came across this as I was looking for a near by delivery, the food came within 30 minutes of my phone order and the food was amazing and plentiful. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan with Linguine noodles and a order of onion rings. Both were so amazing but the onion rings were so delicious and cooked just right! read more

Marsala's is my new favorite and I don't think it'll stop being my favorite anytime soon. Super fast delivery! Amazing selection! Delicious food! Awesome! This is my new favorite pizza place in Waltham beating out Angelo's by a slight margin. all of the food here is delicious and everybody that works here is very nice. I'm surprised at the high ratings. But my experience having them cater lunch was horrible. -- Their portions, although they say a large tray feeds 20, I disagree. We had 40 people for lunch and some didn't get fed. --They were 25 minutes late. When I called to ask them about it, they told me the delivery person was here...but I waited an addition 5 minutes for him. He clearly wasn't "here". --I specified for them to supply forks, knives, etc and plates and none came with the order. How are people supposed to eat? Like pigs at a trough? Luckily I used a 3rd party app to order the food and they were much more willing to make adjustments to the bill. We clearly won't be ordering from them again. Don't take your chances with people waiting to eat. read more

Ordered off of GrubHub 15 minutes before it said the last order could be placed. Order went through fine and said the delivery time would be between 9:50pm - 10:05pm. I am staying in a hotel, and so at 10pm I went down to the lobby to wait. At 10:20 the food had not yet arrived. I had no number to contact the driver so I tried calling the restaurant... 3 times. It was closed. Went back up to my room and began to order from a different restaurant and got a call from the driver that he left the food in the lobby... over half an hour late. The food was obviously cold. I get that we're in a pandemic and I get that it was later at night, but there should be some contact from the driver or restaurant if the food is going to be a half hour late. Staying at the Hyatt house in Waltham, MA. Ordered for delivery...OMG sooo delish. Homemade creamy chicken tortellini soup. Ordered a key west honey lime salad with, no exaggeration, 10 ozs of chx. I got the Marsala pasta with veal and it was very underwhelming. I wasn't sure if the sauce's watery consistency was due to the fact I got it as takeout, but the noodles barely soaked up any flavor, if there even was flavor to begin with. To contrast, the veal was pretty dry and lacked in the flavor department as well. My boyfriend got the chicken wrap with fries. The chicken wrap was your average chicken wrap. They forgot the fries, but delivered it promptly after we reported its absence. Maybe their pizza is better, although I can't say we'll be trying it. read more

Probably the best pizza take out in Waltham. Portions are more than enough for the price. Salads are stuffed in the container with steady 10oz of meat. No exaggeration. We order them a lot for lunch and pretty much knows our order, they are very personable. read more
