    Great lunch prices!
    Debra F.

We LOVE MARSH LANDING! We had not been down for a while. This is great southern food (in my opinion). My favorite is the catfish strips lunch plate. The black-eyed peas and collard greens are pection. Husband ordered the fried okra so I could have that too. Great service with lots of great iced tea (husband is super fussy about tea). The atmosphere is fun-definitely rustic and country. We try to go down refquenly as we do love the food. Oh and let's not forget that the hushpuppies are some of the best I've had.

    The burger

Marsh landing in Florida Service=9/10 guys were super nice Food=I got the BBQ burger and it comes with onion ring and barbecue sauce and it is a big burger as you are going to see next slide so a 7/10 to many onion rings pretty decent fries Texture it didn't really have a burger texture so for the burger 5/10 and the fries were gas and had amazing texture and taste so a 9/10 It I would come back if some places weren't open only for the fries

Very southern food, delicious and quick. I also ordered an arnold palmer which was perfect. Our waiter was funny and knew alot of history about the restaurant, including that it was haunted. The gator was delicious, the greens were smokey and flavorful and the mashed with gravy were amazing.

    Great Mom and Pop look.

Great service. A cute dining room set in an historic building. Lots of honestyle food on the menu. Unfortunately everything we ordered lacked flavor. Had to use a ton of salt and pepper. Breakfast plates looks really good though. Marsh Landing serves beer, wine, and cocktails. We had a small pour of old bad wine. Tasted like it was open for a while. We like to eat at places like this. I wish we had a better experience. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't great either.

Food and service was excellent. The nostalgia of the dining rooms is really cool too.

First time to tjis historic restaurant. Absolutely loved all the history on the walls and the warmth of the dining rooms. There had a preset Christmas Menu to choose from. We did order the Fried Green Tomatoes which came with a delicious Remoulaude Sauce. My wife irder the Roast Beef which was flavorful, but slightly overcooked. But in their defense we should requested a more rare and they could have probably accommodated. My Ham meal was very flavorful and served with Sweet Potatoes and Green Beans all cooked perfectly. But the star of the whole Dining Experience was the Butternut Squash Bisque which was so, so good. We will most dedefinitely be back.

We visit your restaurant February 10th, with my brother in laws from Netherlands and really we're satisfied with the food and wonderful sfeer and very kindly helpful suggestions and service by Kari. We will certainly would recommend this to try it out. Especially the Pecan pie !!

Outstanding!! This humble place, tucked into a small strip…read moremall is larger than life once the food starts rolling to your table. The servers delight in sharing the absolute joy this kitchen dishes up for every diner in that room. The servers all smile the knowing smile of someone who has seen hundreds of super satisfied customers with even happier bellies. So now to the food. My wife got the pulled pork sandwich and offered me half. I took a bite and gallantly handed it back before my tongue got the message back to the rest of me on just how great that sandwich was - otherwise, I would have likely had a real internal struggle to give any of her dinner back. The barbecue sauce was tangy and warm, the pork, delectable and the coleslaw layer, cool, crisp and punchy. This sandwich was the prince of pulled pork! The French fries it came with took me back 50 years to being a kid and knowing what a French fry was supposed to taste like - real potatoes that someone had peeled fresh, crinkle cut and used fresh oil to fry to perfection. Wow. We ordered a seven piece chicken with a side of fried okra. The chicken was superb. As you bit into it, there was a crack from the batter like a tree branch breaking in two. That batter was cooked to absolute perfection. The chicken itself was cooked nicely and slid right off the bone with no tooth wrestling needed. The okra was nicely fried, but the real treat was how the tang of the okra came shining through like it was being eaten whole - the flavor didnt get lost in a thick batter or too long a fry. We also ordered the St. Louis ribs and man, they were also deee-lishous. Well balanced between sweet and tangy, a super platter with some lovely mac and cheese and collard greens for accompaniment. We tried a few of their specialty lemonade flavors. They were nice, but not the highlight in this menu full of superstars. We all had happy but super full bellies, so the peach cobbler and the banana pudding we took home will need to wait for the morning for them to get evaluated. Given the rest of our experience, I'm not going to lose money betting against this place! I met the owner, a solid honest, look you in the eye type of fellow. You could tell two things about him right away: 1. He's a man who has a great deal of pride to have this restaurant and it's fine food to share with the world. 2. This is not an easy business, but he doesn't mind, because he just knows his food is high art in a soul food world made up of many poimitations. Go give these fine folks a try. I am most sure you will leave just like me - searching for words that just don't exist to describe how good this food really is. Thank you Kinfolk, and like another reviewer said, I will be dreaming of this food until I figure a way back to your shop.

Plenty of locals coming in and out. We ordered breakfast. The catfish was seasoned very well. Not a fan of the Cajun sauce for the fish. The grits were cooked just right, not too thick or watery. The Georgia sausage was so good. The added bonus a bakery next door. I don't even like desserts, but they looked so good. The room was decorated beautifully. We ordered a 1/2 dozen cupcakes for Mother's Day. My only complaints are we had ask for a spoon for coffee. She brought me an uncovered stirrer with her hand. We didn't get offered water. We asked for coffee refills and never got them. The bathroom was hot and could have been a little cleaner. The floor was slippery, and didn't smell as clean as the rest of the restaurant. Overall... it was a good experience. I would try them again.

The gravy was OK, but was separating a little/ runny and was extremely hot. so overall, I would give my food like a 3.75/5. we shared food and my wife echoed these sentiments. my wifes meal. first, I will only say that I didn't feel like you got very much portion wise for her protein, maybe we are a little spoiled as there is a Soulfood restaurant closer to where we live where the price is about the same but you get a lot more meat. however, flavor is king and... flavor of the oxtails here was lacking. my wife felt they were underseasoned. the rice with them was... rice, didn't really pick up any of the meetings from the broth/marrow of the oxtail bones. her mac & cheese was quite quite good, I ended up eating most of it. The collard greens were probably the worst thing we ate, no flavor at all, even after adding hot sauce. Normally my wife loves collard greens and I don't eat much, but she was more than happy to let me have as much of them as I wanted, but after a couple of bites, I stopped. overall, I would rate the food she ordered as 2.5/5. between our meals, one iced tea and tip it was $50. Again, the service was very good. My food was pretty good. My wife's food underwhelming. overall, Respectfully, we're not from the area so our odds of returning were not high anyway, but there was nothing else would really draw us back if we were to return to the area. my final note would be, they were not very busy, but it seemed like most of the customers where we could tell what they ordered had ordered the catfish so that made be indicative of something we or someone else might want to order on a future visit.
