Marshmallow Technicians worked yesterday for 3 hours in my home. Professional, friendly and very thorough. Bye bye cable, hello lower priced internet, streaming services and all new fully installed equipment. I was thinking of cutting the cord for a long time, but was hesitant because I am not technologically informed. I saw a very positive review about the service that would do everything that was required. I contacted the service and arranged for them to do everything necessary, including return of equipment, installation of new equipment, notification of the service provider and establishing new service with YouTube TV. Everything was accomplished, including installing the new apps. My monthly cost went from approximately $350 a month to approximately $175 a month. The equipment was all top quality and a great value. Working with marshmallow streaming was totally hasslefree and they were very patient, considerate and helpful. Not aggressive at all. Even with follow up calls, they answered promptly, , and helpful in a very fast response. I was very overwhelmed when I considered getting rid of cable several years ago. I read a recommendation about Marshmallow on NextDoor. I sent an inquiry, and immediately I was impressed with their response. Christopher and George designed a questionnaire to help them and me decide what it was I needed. I consider myself a "tech moron", so I was very grateful about this first step. When we agreed what had to be done and the estimated cost, they arrived exactly on time. They analyzed my home, made recommendations then returned within a short time to cut my cable. George even helped me negotiate a new monthly fee for my internet service and gained a refund - to be applied for the fiirst month - from my already fully-paid month on cable. They returned several times because of the difficulty I had getting a signal - I live in a building that's over100 years old. Never once did I feel as if I were pestering them! When it came time to replace one of my dying sets, George recommended one, which he picked up, delivered and installed. FRUSTRATED!!! That is the only appropriate word (aside from a few others that I won't mention) to describe my experience with my home internet and cable prior to hiring marshmallow streaming. I have lived in a condominium for the past few years and a large portion of our monthly HOA dues go towards "high speed" internet and cable through AT&T. Now let me clarify, when they say "high speed" internet, they mean 12 Mbps which was roughly enough for me to send an email with no lag. If I needed to upload an attachment, it was easily a 5-minute process most times. The cable was equally as bad and would often cut out in the middle of a show with a "lost connection" error. Now I know what you are thinking, "why did I wait so long to take action"? Well for one, I had to pay for this as part of my dues so I didn't want to have to come out of pocket twice. In addition, I have always reported to an office for work so I have foolishly dealt with this horrendous cable and internet for longer than I would like to admit. It wasn't until these last few months that I finally hit my tipping point when I came home to find my girlfriend in complete distress as she attempted to complete her nursing school clinical course work while continually getting bumped offline due to a "poor connection". After a couple hours of unsuccessful troubleshooting, I decided to pick up the phone and call George from Marshmallow streaming. I'm a very busy individual and there is nothing worse to me than having to spend time learning something that I have no desire to learn (i.e. how to set up a new network and stream everything off that network). That was the best part about working with Marshmallow streaming...I literally did not have to do a thing! From the initial phone call to the set up, I sat back and the team took control of every single step of the process. They got me a great rate with xfinity, purchased all of the equipment for the installation and set everything up quickly and efficiently. Outstanding experience. George (CEO & Co-Founder) was very thorough and patient with me leading up to the install day. Answered all of my questions, provide advice and lessons learned. On install day, he and his team did a very thorough job of setting up our streaming devices and home wifi. We were only out of commission from a wifi perspective for maybe 45 minutes. They also installed a TV over our fireplace. We look to save about $50/month +/-, so other than getting used to DirecTV Stream (our choice to get the main channels we wanted) versus Comcast...very satisfied with Marshmallow Streaming!! read more

We couldn't be happier. We were hesitant for over a year and finally went to streaming. Now, we're kicking ourselves that we waited so long. We're retirees and not tech-savvy, but the straightforward instruction by Marshmallow and the prompt responses, if we did have an issue, helped us get through a minimum of hiccups. The pictures on both sets are terrific and we're saving $73 a month. What's not to like? With my cable service, we felt we were being gouged, but no more. Getting everything done by George was the way to go. He came in, took over, and in less than half a day it was done, all the way to taking back the old equipment and closing the old account. The clerical switchover was the same, billing is setup, DONE. My recommendation is if you're on the fence, get off of it and switch to streaming. Marshmallow holds your hand the whole way. If you haven't cut the cable cord yet, you should call George and Chris, of Marshmallow Streaming. I cut the cord with them a couple of years ago, and they saved me a lot of money, while streaming more movies and shows than I had with Comcast, at a fraction of the cost. My savings paid for their services in about a year, so their services not only saved me money, but were free in the long run. To cut the cable, all I did was call Marshmallow Streaming. George and Chris did everything else, literally. They removed all of the Comcast equipment from my home and returned it to Comcast for me. They recommended the equipment I should have, and then went out and purchased it for me. Then they installed everything, and loaded the streaming services that I wanted. In my case, the only thing I wanted to keep with Comcast was high speed internet. George and Chris recommended the speed I should have for my needs, and then negotiated on my behalf with Comcast for a good price. They did all of this quickly, and when they left everything was working, I had more services than I had before they came, and it cost about half of what I was paying to Comcast for less.
